I was on the show in 1999. Had a great interview and I thought for sure I was in. Not so much.......and it was a double plinko episode! I was able to talk with Bob during the commercial break and let him know how much of a fan I was and got to ask him about his golf game. I remember like it was yesterday. What a legend! RIP BOB!
Back in the mid 80's our neighbor from west, Michigan was on the Price Is Right. She worked at a local grocery store as a check out gal. She stayed with cousins on a shoe string budget vacation. I was so happy for her she won a new kitchen of appliances n a modest priced new car. Her appliances where bought used n didn't match. Her car was often sick. I was so happy for her! The gift she bid on was a white treadmill. I bought that from her at a bit of a discount to help her pay for all the taxes on the prizes.
About 25 years ago I saw a guy wearing a t shirt with Bob Barker’s picture on it. Above picture it said “Chicks dig me”. It was a great shirt. Thank you for another great video!
R.I.P Bob Barker ...I am from Oakville Ontario Canada and Bob saved two elephants from the Toronto Zoo as he payed for them to be shipped to the California Zoo Bob was the best
A few weeks ago I watched several episodes of TPIR and was surprised and happy that Bob was still alive. I loved that show and watched it all the time when I lived in Canada! May he rest in peace, greetings for Germany.
Forget the naysayers Mike; you did a great job on the Bob Barker video at Forest Lawn. I'm never going to travel to California, so I thank you very much for showing us his grave site. I found it very interesting! 😊
In my book he's a true American Hero....never shy to give voice and protection to beautiful animals...all animals A true class act... that photo of him by his wife grave broke my heart...but tomorrow they'll be together again
Great that you did this so fast! TY! Who isn't a Price is Right fan, at least secretly:). Watched it many times and still do on YT, in case I feel sentimental or wanna smile a bit.
Wow Rest In Peace Bob barker, You’re such an angel you’re you were an earth angel now you’re an angel in heaven thank you so much for saving animals and loving the animals I cannot believe your apartment in American nails thank you German Venice
I worked at metro media (tv channel 11) Hollywood in 1974- parked my car and was walking to my job and mr bob barker passed me and said hello to me-very friendly man-i was 19 yrs old-a very famous man saying hi to moi-wowow
Mike, Thank you for making this nice tribute to Bob Barker. ❤️ You’re good at making tributes videos and the rest of your videos. I watch all of your videos.
Great video! I went once. That day was a fun adventure for sure. Didn't get called, but I got to see Bob and Rod Roddy was wearing this sparkling red blazer. It was fabulous! We got there at nine, caught the second taping. Woo!
Really enjoyed this one Mike. Being a German guy from NY and having my Mema move to America in 1939 From Berlin was the reason for my love of Bob. She lived out on the lake and watched Bob religiously. From the late 70s until his retirement he changed our daily lives. Being home sick from school , TPIR was the only thing on the mind. He had a genuinely kind heart and people were magnetized to him. What a guy! Great video bud!
I used to watch Bob Barker on Truth or Consequences back in the early 70s they use to have a segment, they would reunite families after not seeing each other for about 30 years right on the stage, it was really heartwarming
Bob Barker “Help control the pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered.” You said sprayed but I knew what you meant it was all good very informational video about bob Barker I'm glad I wrote to him years ago I didn't even ask I just told him I was a big fan and he sent me 2 autographs
EXCELLENT VIDEO, very well done, GiV! I was in the Price Is Right audience several times when I was in Los Angeles. A lot of fun times in the Studio City Studios. R. I. P. Bob Barker 😢
Growing up in America Bob Barker & The Price is Right was an essential part of playing hooky and skipping school!! Somebody's Aunt or Granny always had the show on! Then came the soap operas lol RIP Bob Barker
When Bob Barker passed away. The first thing that pop in my head was THE GIV. I was like i hope Mike covers it. You're a man of many things GIV and ENTERTAINMENT CULTURE is one of them. Thanks we appreciate your work.
I have 12 rescued cats, As a small advocate for animal neutering and spaying, this touched my heart so much. I don’t know much about Bob, this video helps me and others about his advocacy. I hope other famous people and celebrities will be like him… the best way to saved animals from throwing and neglect is to neuter/spay them specifically cats. I am saving my own money to a raffle draw once in every 2 months for free spay in our Facebook group. I wish many people will be like Bob. Thanks to him and R.I.P from Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
I think everyone watched The Price is right at one point in there life,it was fun to play along. I loved it when I was a kid. Bob Barker also did alot of work for animals rights, with his girlfriend. He loved all animals. R.I.P. Bob Barker.❤❤❤!
I was at Carrie Tingley hospital as a child. Bob barker and Ralph Edwards came to do a show for all the kids. I was in traction in bed. Bob barker came up to me and kissed me on my forehead. The name of the town the hospital was at was named truth or consequences. I never forgot.
I don’t like to think about death either, the older I get the less I want to think about it. Bob Barker had a long and wonderful life and was loved by millions, so a very fortunate man. RIP
Bob barker also financed/supported a ship meant to save the ocean/whales plus other support vehicles. Could be seen on the TV show "Whale Wars" filmed Ifrom the Southern Ocean and Australia. The ship was appropriately named the Bob Barker.
It was nice to see all of this, great job GiV. i met Bob when i was a small kid and Truth or Consequences came to town. I sang him a song I wrote about him. He was super nice. Coincidentally I've also met Chuck Norris, because i helped his mother sneak food back to her hotel room (long story).
As Adam Sandler put it in Happy Gilmore, "the price is wrong - bitch!" - Bob Barker's greatest contribution - more important than his social activism: ua-cam.com/video/8QJiAK-s5a0/v-deo.htmlsi=2j6PwH6cr-bnNbQ7
I have great memories of watching The Price is Right with my grandparents from both sides of my family during snow days and the summer, thanks for the great video!
Once again I am loving everything that you do! Another one of my TV Icons passes away.. Grwoing up in Miami I spent so much time with my Grandmother who always watched the Price is Right and she loved Bob Barker! And I always loved guessing the prices of stuff and being so happy for the contestants winning the cars! And of course at the end of the show when Bob would say don't forget to spay and neuter your Pets! May he R.I.P!
When I was home sick from school, I always watched Bob Barker on the Price is Right. RIP Bob
Me too! Always a joyful hour watching Bob & show.
Céline Dion's fave TV show.
Yep, in the early 1970’s, a strep throat or a virus meant bed rest, a black & white t.v. 7-Up and The Price is Right.
I loved Bob Barker, the price is right is how i will always remember him, watched him
every morning.
Thank you for sharing this story of Bob Barker🥰🐕

Cool ... 👍
I wonder what happened to his dogs since his passing
Thank you for this video. I had a Uncle who won a lot of money on the show. He was set up for life because of it!

Sea Sherperd supporter . Ship is named after him .
Wasn't Bobby sued for sexual harassment by a price is right model?
He chose a lot of firefighters he liked them. My fireman friend won a 22 foot travel trailer which he sold to me. Loved the show.
Great that you did this so fast! TY! Who isn't a Price is Right fan, at least secretly:). Watched it many times and still do on YT, in case I feel sentimental or wanna smile a bit.
I was on the price is right in 1986, won a Car, cheese, copper and copper cookware. Bob was very nice to me and everyone else.
Do you still have it?
It's not weird he knew he was gonna be buried next to his beloved wife. He never remarried and now gets to spend eternity with her
Only God knows that
I thought he was getting buried in the lobby of studio 33
Your videos on the celebrities are so heartfelt and amazing, thank you so much GIV
Thank you for the video on Bob Barker. He was a TV staple while I was growing up.

Fantastic video, a beautiful tribute! I went to The Price is Right twice and I drove by Bob's house on my first California trip in 1999.
Great job! Always love your tributes. Such dedication! Thank you!
Bob was 94 in that pic of him taking out his trash. That's pretty impressive tbh. I've seen a lot of 90+ year olds who can't do anything.
he kicked Adam Sandler's ass - the Happy Gilmore fight scene was done without stuntmen
My wife and I have my grandmother living with us because she has dementia, she's 82 and in bad shape. This dude definitely took care of himself
He sure had a beautiful home loved Bob barker I loved his fun show truth or consequences
I met Bob Barker in 2006 when I was a contestant on TPIR! My dream came true!
Great video! I went once. That day was a fun adventure for sure. Didn't get called, but I got to see Bob and Rod Roddy was wearing this sparkling red blazer. It was fabulous! We got there at nine, caught the second taping. Woo!
