The Gym equipment is getting better and better in every new video. You should look at Gluck's garage gym reviews for their video filming and editing style.
@@Ash_4949 heck yeah!! Trying to do a variety!! Got another budget rack to review next week!! Yeah, they do great! He’s even got a guy to film for him. I wish my teacher salary and the channel could afford a good editor but I just use an iphone mic and iphone since I started :/
@@LukesGarageGym I think all you need is a tripod. Film all the exercises in advance and then just add clips in a review when you're explaining that exercise.
@@Ash_4949 I got that! I just wanted to do more of a breakdown and get it out to you guys to talk about it. I’ll do more B roll in the future of movements
Ordered from Temu. Shipped to my house overnight 8 packages. Very well packed. I had to work so I'll finish putting it together tomorrow and let you know how it went.
Not gonna lie, this thing looks legit. I've got a functional trainer from X Mark and it's pretty nice. But it's only a 2:1 ratio. The 1:1 option here is great. Granted I have a stand alone 1:1 Lat Pulldown and Low Row with a 300lb stack. Totally overkill. But I make overkill purchases often. The aluminum pulley's should be the standard at this point. My X Mark has the nylon pulley's but my Vesta Rack has the aluminum. Total game changer. I always thought Coop from GGR made this too big of a deal with the pulley's but he was right. BUT!!! You can actually buy aluminum pulley's for anywhere from 4-10 bucks a piece. So I might try that. Mikolo hit the mark with this one. Nice review Luke.
@@WhoIsJonHarris Yeah! I may buy man! I am shocked they just don’t do it because it’s shown and known to make a difference! But dude, this thing is pretty sweet and a nice addition they did here!
Looks really solid! I think the pricing is a little high though. Mikolo often sells all-in-one racks + smith + functional trainer units like their M4 for $1,000 and under. This functional trainer has significantly less functionality with the only advantage being it has weight stacks and the switchable 2:1 and 1:1 pulley ratio. I don't think that 352lbs of weight and some extra pulleys should add $1,200+ to the price, especially when it's all still using 14-gauge steel. I'd rather they just sell a weight-stack upgrade for their racks for like $500 and that would put the total around $1,500 on sale for a much more versatile setup that enables you to use rack attachments and a smith machine as well. Just not seeing how this piece justifies its cost unfortunately.
@@Superman-xr1oh say that this is the only functional trainer that I’ve seen that can incorporate a one-to-one ratio, but I’d like to see it under two grand to make it more of the actual budget range
What’s your thoughts on this piece from Mikolo?
Is the 1:1 ratio setting smooth?

yeah I’d like to see the price under 2k with 14 gauge steel !
Beautiful piece of equipment.

Is $2,200 considered budget?

Plastic pulleys for $2,279.99??? :(
I KNOW!!! I do not understand why we cannot just universally add these. The cost can't be that crazy.
