@@r.elllllll9544 I picked up a pair about 4 days ago and have already ran about 15 miles outdoors in them and they are some of the best running shoes I have ever owned.
I used to wear Ghost before Adrenaline. But after trying Adrenaline GTS 21, I decide, this is my daily trainer. Considering my weight, I would prefer Adrenaline to Ghost. The firmer midsole and the more durable outsole, are more suitable for heavy runner.
Thanks for the feedback thomas, if others dig the 20 more, looks like you can get it for as low as $95 on RunRepeat! runrepeat.com/brooks-adrenaline-gts-20
Bought these today. My summer shoes are dead and my trail shoes are not suitable for pavement. These are a nice setup for roadway with light snow. Obviously not ice. Nanospikes for ice.
Just got them 1 week ago. These are hands down the best Brooks 'all rounder' trainer and runner I have ever worn. For me, only the ASICs Gel Kayanos come close.
Excited to read that as I'm expecting to receive them tommorow. I'm a heavy overpronator (found out recently through fysiotherapy) who has only run in neutral shoes my whole life.
I used to run in Kayano for 15 years, but three years ago I changed to Brooks Adrenaline. The shoes are similar but I find that the quality is better when it comes to Brooks.
I would lean towards the Adrenaline 21 personally. I dont like the external heel cup or the medial post on the Kayano, and it felt a little shallow in the heel to me compared to the Brooks. Both will have their fans though and their pros and cons. Consider the Gel Kayano Lite as well.
I’ve run in ASICS Gel Kayano 26 and 27s, but just switched to the Brooks Adrenaline 21. They have some obvious differences, but I was prompted by friends who work in the running world to make the switch based on my wide, flat feet. I feel more stability and ankle support in the Brooks. The ASICS felt more cushioned in general, but the Brooks had more support which helped alleviate soreness in my soleus muscle after several 3-4 mile runs.
@@LawMan786 when you transit from kayano to gts 21 you went half size up?in kayano 26 and 46,5 size or japan 29,5 fits a bit snug without much room when the kayano 25 same size was better.should i go for 30cm in gts 21?
I’m so grateful for my coach i have been having really bad heel pain. The problem is the heels, but the shoes are bendy towards the heel area. So my coach took me out and I chose this pair. She also got them for free
I have Posterior tibial tendon issues (basically my foot is collapsing due to being on them so much without proper footwear.) Will these offer enough arch support?
GTS16 was my first experience with Adrenaline. Just started wearing the GTS19 I got on sale , looking forward to this, thanks for the quick to the point review
I loved the way this shoe fit but encountered a LOT of slippage through the mid foot when doing side-to-side motions and had to lace them really, really tight. Would I be better off trying a narrow fit, or just lash the ones I've got up tight and hope for the best?
There's plenty of cushioning under foot so I think they would be fine for longer runs. Its a stability shoe, so if you need the added support they are great.
Thanks for the review! FWIW I really enjoy your longer reviews - the 3 minute reviews just don't have enough content. I like the pro/con type of review and your perspective on what works for you and what doesn't. Great insights so my vote is for the longer video's.
Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate this! We have a few more "short format" reviews coming up, but then we'll re-evaluate. I tend to agree with you that more in-depth is better!
I just got a pair of these and wow! I love them. So comfortable and amazing. Usually get ASICS but tried these out and don't regret it
How they holding up ?
@@ruehem3219 really good. I am probably sticking to this shoe
Just got these, feeling amazing to walk in and run on a treadmill. Going on a outdoor run tomorrow!
Hey man how did you find these for outdoor running? I have the ghost 13 currently and was looking at these

frankly spoken the 20 is better then the 21. The 21 looks cheaper to me.

GTS20 is my favourite running shoe in my rotation, I am looking forward to trying a pair of 21s now. Great review thanks 😊
Good choice! The 21 is nice.
@@RunRepeatcom I an enjoying running in the 21s. They are very nice.

3min perfect. Anything over 5 works for UA-cam but for us is to long

Thanks for commenting! Ya they are great shoes, and I think the approach to a stability trainer here is better then the original Kayanos.

If you had to choose between this or the ASICS Gel Kayano 27 which would you go for?

Great video! What's the big difference with the Glycerine 19 GTS?

Thanks for the quick info, solid breakdown of this shoe. Now I know where I'm going to spend my next $130.
Glad I could help!
Excellent review mate! 👍🏾👍🏾🇦🇺
Glad you enjoyed it!
just ordered theses yesterday. Got the Ghost 13 today but my foot is swimming in them. Hope the GTS fits better.
Excited to hear how you like them!
Great for hiit sprints?

Just bought a pair, got this exact color way!
Awesome!
Has anyone found that the rim of the shoe puts pressure on the bone below the ankel? I have resorted to putting cotton wool between my sock and shoe.

anyone can give me answer which one better gts 20 or gts 21
Great question, sometimes people don't need the latest updates.
Good review, informative and nice production.
Much appreciated!
Would this be a good shoe for long runs and easy days?
There's plenty of cushioning under foot so I think they would be fine for longer runs. Its a stability shoe, so if you need the added support they are great.
@phenylNutella Hello there. What's the fastest tempo you can run comfortably/effortlessly in this shoe?
@phenylNutella thanks
Would you say these are good for neutral runners?
is it better thn New Balance 860v11?
I have not personally tested the NB 860v11, so I can't really say at this point.
These shoes hurt when I run
These are amazing. Just got a pair.
good review but he sounded bored or slightly irritated. like he couldn't wait to be doing something else. had complaint in his voice.
Haha I'll be sure to add more pep to my next review! Thanks for the feedback.
is it good for asphalt?
The 20's are my go too shoes for everything, ill wear trail runners if I'm going heavy in the trail but they're great.
Yes these are great on hard surfaces.
11mm drop or 12? I read 12 elsewhere. Also, it looks terrible. I just bought some but the looks we’re almost a deal-breaker.
