Hi @cliffvantoor5102, great to hear you enjoy the videos. As for the exact seat height, it depends on both the cartridge kit and rear shock. So exact measurements should be obtainable from the manufacture of the combined kit.
      Ride safe 👊✊️👍

Oh, something else. Do you know anywhere in New Zealand that repairs/improves BMW ESA 1 or 2 shocks? (Not dynami ESA). Wanting to replace/repair on my k1200S.

Hey there @metal2metallica, oh the joys of living in New Zealand when something breaks. For ESA you could try Precision Yamaha in Christchurch, or CMG who have just taken over the BMW Service license recently. Or BMS (Barvarian Motorcycle Services) all in Christchurch. Sorry not sure where you are.
If they can't do it, they may know someone who can.
Worst case scenario, but a little more costly yet cheaper than a new shock, is to send it to the Netherlands (John) at ESA Repair Suspension will definitely be able to fix it, if anyone can. If the shops above can't help you, you may want to have a search in Auzzie before shipping to the Northern hemisphere. Good luck, let me know how you get on.
      Take care out there 👊✊️👍😀

@outtheresomewhere thanks for the suggestions! I will try those places in ChCh, if not then I will attempt to send to either Netherlands like you suggested or to T-Tech in London (ESA specialists). Not sure of the ins and outs of sending international for repair. Thanks again from Palmerston North.
