I saw a lsx engine build running that same pro charger make almost 1,800 horsepower. It was just a engine dyno but i figured wit drive line loss it should be in the 1,500 horsepower range. Leave the timing alone , add a wastegate to manage boost, th400 to put it down with more average power across the band vs the peaky power band the stick delivers 👌🏾
@mikeh3558 ya don't know much about cars... 1. Add a wastegate to the intake side of the setup. Allows you to control boost on a supercharged setup. Boom boost controlled supercharger application. 2. A converter car will allow the engine to jump to a higher RPM meaning it will be in the better power over the whole pull. If you don't know what you're talking about, why even comment?

Big problem you keep having tho is the belt breaking flying off.. That is REALLY annoying I can imagine. You have a video Wednesday I think about 3.0 I'll have to watch that and see what your next move is. you've got the power now to get it to the ground without belt issues. I think the lifting the heads is gonna be a think on any engine with that much cylinder pressure and boost level. I say just go with it and get traction. You mentioned going auto.. MAYBE if the 6 breaks but then that more cost your out then again if your 6 breaks that's good time to do it all depends on you and how much you like shifting lol. Sequential is out as you'd need to sell your house to afford one at 20k I say get traction and enjoy it

I'm running -10 from tank to the fuel filter then dual -8an up to each fuel rail through then -8 out fuel rails and a -8 return 2 hellcat fuel pumps and no issues with the pressure I'm stunned your running only -6 return! Ok back to watching the video! Lol thanks for posting this can't wait to see what it made. Btw are you using a 1:1 rising rate regulator so it fuels more during boost?

I was just thinking about it, I have such mixed emotions about the TH400 swap. It would be faster, no doubt, but once you lose OD the car just becomes such a thorn to take out and enjoy IMO. Granted, it's getting pretty focused as it is, but it blows rolling down the highway at 60 mph at 3000 rpm all the time LOL! I didn't realize you were still on 1 7/8" headers, there's definitely some power on the table right there. Going to the V-bands, bigger headers, Holley ECU, the TH400 and turbo are the obvious next moves, for next year, but you might want to consider some VHT spray nozzles aimed at those meats out back too! 😂
been watching your videos. thinking about getting a c6 at this same time around next year, probably going to go straight to a H/C/I setup. anything you recommend as far as mod support wise? Ik methanol injection helps cool the engine, but i mainly see that on boosted vehicles so i wonder if i need to run that or not since there is less stress on the motor for it being N/A. be safe and thank you for your service man
Just go all motor. If you want to boost it be ready to eventually get a new engine or throw some sleeves in and refresh. Cheaper boost route is getting a grandsport. Coming from a C6 z06 owner and a boosted grandsport
Just upgrade all the cooling elements and have the tune set for e fans to come on earlier? Heat shouldn't be an issue on all motor unless you're going high compression

29 psi on a 441 1400 hp? I read the build you got good parts but dam near 29 psi on such a ci sounds alil low to me and your six speed. But hub dyno are the best I bet you have way more in it. Good gas gas to. I got a 5th gen with dart ls shp block 396ci br7 heads solid roller btr custom cam, but i got twin fis 76mm turbos on c85 with meth injection since i run no intercooler. thru a 6060 built by rpm, with a holley low ram , on 25 psi 15* timing and alil on the fat side turnd out 1377 hp so far but bent the dirveshaft lol fun times. So i know you gotta have atleast 1600hp to the wheels I know the procharger eats hp but Im pulling for ya!!

@@McgradyRacing same here just wanted to confirm. I’ve had my fair share of belt issues but found that when the shop installed the bracket one of the engine side spacers was in the incorrect spot and had the bracket barely out of square. Haven’t had any issues since I corrected this.
