- The 6th Generation Corvette Z06 is in my opinion, one of the best vettes ever made! It's the last vette with 4 round tail lights, the last vette with an actual 6 speed manual and the last vette with a 427 motor in it.
For all of these reasons, i believe the c6z06 will go on as a collectible piece of history!

Just got a 2017 with the 6.2 litre engine. Black on black and totally stock with zero mods ❤. I have had it for less than 3 weeks! So far so good yall ❤

I agree with you too! I'm a fellow C6Z owner too. We are twins with Lemans Blue. Best performance for dollar. I'm a gear head wanting a Porche 911 997.2 next.
@rickvang7313 the only problem with the porsches, is I feel you need a gt3 or gt3rs to match the performance of the vette or beat it, but that comes with such a massive price tag. I do love me a Porsche though!
Had mine now for about six months. Agree with you on all points. True joy to drive. I miss the targa top on the base car. But what you get in return is night and day.
Very Nice!! I have a 2012 C6 Inferno Orange M6 GS with 24K miles. The only reason for going GS over Z06 was the removable top. I sent my GS to Lingenfelter to supercharge to satisfy the power difference. It's a monster!!

I love a c7z too, but the legroom is a little less than the c6, so unfortunately I can't own one.
Either the grand sport or Z06 C6 is the next car on my bucket list so much car for the money! But awesome car man don’t ever sell it!

If you're in Canada. Davenport motorsports Calgary has done many head swaps. Great shop. I had OEM Lingenfelter upgraded heads done on mine last year. Wonderful job.

I agree these are incredible cars! So much so, as I have one as well :-) Timeless style is so correct. Smooth lines, lightweight, naturally aspirated, big brakes. A driver's car for sure. Note: Davenport motorsports Calgary can solve your "heads" issues. Cheers from BC :-)

Great car but my opinion the C7 with the Z51 package is a better deal. Lot nicer interior almost the same HP all alloy chassis with carbon fiber body. C7 also has dry sump oiling system. I find people still asking good money for there Z06 can find C7 for lot less money. But C7 is unfortunately a little heavier. Both great cars guess all depends on options milage and price of course.

I gotta get it back on a dyno and have it retuned . It made 500 to the wheels, but I think it should easily make 550 plus.
It's got a stage 2 TSP cam in it, with prc 245 heads and that atomic airforce intake manifold (or whatever it's called). Exhaust is stainless works headers and a borla catback

@@ThatTrackChannelRumor has it, the C6 have more room inside than C7? Love your car and lean towards that generation but I know the tech and interior not as good. The deciding factor may be room. I am a big dude. 6’1” 260lb lifter.

I guess it depends what we base it on. Better potential for a track car, yes. It's 700 pounds lighter than the zl1. My car is also faster than my last zl1.
In my opinion, more collectible in the future. Last of the 4 round taillights, last 6 speed manual (newer ones were 7 speeds), one of the biggest NA V8's put into a car. For those reasons, I think it's more special than the camaro.
ZL1 1LE's will always be special to me too.
