With these abridged videos I always think "no big deal, 10 min is not much", but it's usually by the 7th-8th minute my brain stops working
You should watch the live streams instead. The abridged are just meant as a quick review, but I think they'd probably fry someone's brain if they're learning these concepts for the very first time or if they're not pausing the video often along the way.
@@GoBillyKorean That's what I was about to recommend plus we get to see your exquisite dabs! Lmaoo
How old are you?
한국인이 보면 영어를 배울 수 있는 영상
영어권에서 보면 한국어를 배울 수 있는 영상
출장중인데 여기 사람들이랑 좀 친해지고 한국어에 관심있어하면 무조건 빌리님 채널 추천할겁니다 ㅎㅎ
I like how you like all of this language stuff
After seeing/hearing the ~면 안돼
My brain: *started singing*
"울면 안돼 울면 안돼 산타할아버지는 우는 애들에게" lol ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Now it explains why I always hear that 지 그랬어.
드디어 이해 할 수 있어요~~ 수고하셨습니다!
I was really confused about으면돼다 thank you for explaining
such an interesting lesson
i really want to watch a new ep everyday but i was like whats the point if i dont apply it? well you never know which future lesson will help me use these forms easier
thank u so much
Hey Billy, great tutorials as always. In your next video can you talk about VERBS + ~대요 when you use other people’s thoughts or information. I’m confused about verbs ending in 한다 -> 한대(요). I learn best from seeing tons of examples 😆 thanks brother.
You can find a live stream about quoting forms linked in the Google doc (in the Community tab of my channel). I cover that ~대 form too.
Billy pls explain changing descriptive verb into action verb the form 어/아 하다
he did
How to negate the verb in this case if it is Sino-Korean?
If the 으면 좋겠다 form was in the past tense is it true that it has a stronger meaning?
비가 왔으면 좋겠어요 - example
Yes, I explain that in the live lesson as well.
Is that a real background?
Can you give links to the live versions please
There's a playlist on my channel that has all of them.
@@GoBillyKorean Ohh I didn't know that, thank you Billy 선생님
Why was the ㅅ dropped in 낫다 to become 나아요? I'm not aware of any irregular ㅅ rules.
Not all ㅅ verbs, but many conjugate this way: ua-cam.com/video/77q_xuLkI_c/v-deo.html
How are 먹으면 돼 and 먹기만 하면 돼 different?
~기만 하다 is using the ~기 하다 form with 만 ("only") and means "to ONLY do~" whatever verb it's used with. I teach ~기 하다 here ua-cam.com/video/52O7G0URk8A/v-deo.html
Would it be correct to say that 먹기만 하면 돼 is just a more emphatic version of 멱으면 돼? Like “ONLY by eating will it be ok” v. “by eating it will be ok”.
@@nancyle699 Literally, yes :) But translating that won't sound natural. You will want to translate it so it sounds natural in whatever situation it's being used.
we can't use ~면 (안) 되다 in first person? or abt one's self?
Why not?
Hey Billy, is the Korean made simple book 1 available on ebay?
In print form, yes. Many other sellers also order my book directly and then resell it on eBay in print form - that's fine. But if you see it anywhere else in eBook form besides major reputable stores, then it's often just piracy.
@@GoBillyKorean Ok, Thanks!
hi can i ask?
in this sentence I'm talking about 지
호회하겠지 it means "You're gonna have fun"
but what does 지 means?
when i removed 지 it turns out "I'll have a good time"
Watch ua-cam.com/video/ygFX0zqkt9M/v-deo.html
Then what is 아/어야지?
My live stream about "have to" covers this form and many other similar ones. ua-cam.com/video/A6NZotv9UOM/v-deo.html
근데 이 영상 찍은 장소가 어디에요?ㅋㅋㅋ 골목길 같은데..ㅋㅋ 사람들은 안 지나다니네요
