Like all other rolling stones songs this was a Mick and Keith collaboration but because of his drumming it was really Charlie's song.
Couldn't agree more. People usually focused on either Brian's mellotron playing, Nicky Hopkins on harpsichord, or John and Paul singing background vocals.
But for me, it was always Charlie's amazing drumming that stood out on this track.
And don't forget Bill Wyman's very cool bass playing.
Ach du meine Güte, das hatte ich ja völlig vergessen und freue mich 😍👍
Excellent footage, one of the Stones best songs. Brian's mellotron playing, Nicky Hopkins on harpsichord, John and Paul singing background.
For me, Charlie's amazing drumming always stood out on this timeless classic.
Yes , it's the drumming that holds it together. Charlie had to overplay it because the song needed it plus the way the drums were recorded were over the top and that would be due to the engineer's input. I don't think Charlie played like that again , the closest is "19th Nervous Breakdown" but that is a little diffrent and he did'nt overplay it too much.
@@danielbanic3738 Absolutely true about 19th Nervous Breakdown, one of Charlie's best. If it was the engineer's input that allowed Charlie's drumming to stand out, then thank God for that!
I'd include one other Stones classic to that Charlie short list, Rocks Off.
What a joy it must have been for Keith's daughter to have a song written for her. Well done Dandelion!
We Love You/Dandelion great single
Yes it is !!!
Just one of many great songs on that Flowers album
Yes it is !!!
Great footage, great song. Keith still looks like a kid before he later seemingly turned overnight into a wizened rock icon.
Thanks , I will be uploading some more rare music and footage so subscribe , Peace Dan
It's all about drugs! How many and how good 😊
Wonderful film. Throughout his song Charlie’s drumming is amazing!
Thanks , I especailly fixed it up on each scene and so it looked good and yes Charlie Watts drumming is amazing.
Great Clip , Great Song ...............
Thanks , enjoyed fixing it up.
So 'dandelion' is the word I couldn't make out, lol.
Mick has a lot of charisma when he performs.
Yes he does , ha ha
Delicious song............
Keith is truly amazing ❤❤
Yes he is
I totally agree
Brian Jones played at least 9 different instruments!
Yes , he was a genious and a great musician.
Hey!...played a beautiful clarinet on this song❤
He could play any instrument if he tried to play it for 5 minutes and he would know how to play it
Hola!
Saludos !
NO JONES, NO STONES !!! 😊
I have read that Brian played 30 different instruments on Rolling Stones records. He plays the oboe on "Dandelion." They've never been as interesting without him, in my opinion.
Nicky Hopkins on harpsichord 🎶🎹
Yes the great Nicky Hopkins !!!
@@danielbanic3738 Nicky was one of those indispensable "temporary" members of the Stones, much like Ian Stewart, Bobby Keys and Jim Price.
The Stones' version of The Wrecking Crew.

I love that song.
John Lennon and Paul McCartney on background vocals. Never performed live.
Yeah , that's right , most of the british musicians in the 60s all knew each other and it was a small commutity , lots famous artists performed on that Stones album helping out including Steve Marriot from the Small Faces , sings back vocals on Bill Wyam's "In another land"
You mean they never performed this together with the Stones, or was the song never performed live???
@@danielbanic3738 with rod stewart?
Mick & Keith sung along on the Beatles All you need is love, Brian played on Baby you're a rich man & You know my name (look up the number)
I like the soprano sax.
Good song
Yes it is , one of my favorites
Mc cartney and lennon did backing vocals
Fun Fact: Two of the Beatles members did backup vocals on the song?
Dandelion is such a Timeless Classic. It's a pity the Rolling Stones moved away from Ethereal Psychedelic Music and entered a Dark Place full of Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll.
1967 was year to open up to ethreal music not just the Stone but for many groups in that era. Great music
I think you're American.
You've found great footage.

I have I think around 50 recent videos I put together on this new channel so you have to search around for classic music videos I did. This is mainly my own music channel that I uploaded. I have around 6 albums on the playlist. Check them out and let me know what you think. Im a great musican and cheers from London , ha ha

Now I see how similar was Richards' face to Harrison's.
Thanks , I will be uploading some more music so subscribe , Peace Dan
Could play it live if brian jones was alive he made that album and hated it
watts looks like a beatle.
They all look like Beatles , ha ha
@@danielbanic3738 Or the Beatles look like them... 😎
