They're gonna NEED to do a third banner at some point in the (probably) near future. At the rate of adding two characters every single patch, the rate at which characters get their first reruns keeps pace with the rate of new characters. It's either going to take increasingly longer as the game goes on for even a first rerun to occur, or they're never gonna do second reruns, unless they make a third banner. It's either that or they slow down to adding 1 new character a patch and do 3 reruns per patch, instead of 2 and 2.
Alternately, they could start transitioning the oldest limited 5-stars to be on the standard banner instead, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen.
My opinion, but the caracter situation is either worse than genshin or simply as worse

My predictions:
They finish 1.x reruns before anything else. Huohuo drops 2nd half because nihility loves her so you have to pick. Also splitting male and female on reruns. Dr Ratio is 1st half to finish 1.x reruns. That also makes it tight if you want all follow-ups if you get Jade you have the shortest turnaround.
Only DoT loves her. For Acheron team ur better off with anyone else

4 of then including march are probably 4 stars, ironically of all the xianzhou ones introduced the 4 star xianzhou march is probably the most hyped
And I would go as far to argue that 1 of them is garunteed to be a 4 star preservation character
And I would also say that there is a pretty low chance for a 4 star harmony unit so characters like scooby doo, ruan mei and sparkle will sell better but If they were to introduce a 4 star harmony character it would most likely be of use for boothill and firefly basically all the break units

They should make a chronicled wish kind of banner at this point but better than the genshin one. The two characters per patch is beneficial to them but I think that things will start to get very crowded If there are too many characters waiting for reruns and it shows.
It would be interesing, u add a character from the limited banner and you have a 50% to get the banner one , 25% to gget one from the standar banner and 25% to get the one you selected(odviusly from a certain pull) but this is just too good to be true.

they have ample time after firefly to rerun with exception to jade the quality is literally going downhill in characters
I think it's going to be Ratio, Huohuo. Ratio banner makes sense coz right now there must be the highest influx of new players in the game with Firefly banner. Not only that but they can profit from those who want eidolons or LC from the ones that already own him. Huohuo is going to happen regardless and I think she will run alongside Jiaoqiu for the ultimate foxian banners.
I also think that third reruns won't happen for a while. At least after all the Penacony characters have their reruns or after they get tired of releasing so many damn new limited 5 stars.
I don’t think they will rerun ratio, welp not anytime soon. First of all he was free, also he was available until end of 2.1
Likely rerun are: Seele,HuoHuo,Silver Wolf,Blade,Kafka,Swan,Sparkle

I feel like they will HAVE to start doing triple banners soon with the number of champs they have. Its inevitable they would need to bring some of the most popular back again and again. Like Kafka. Thinking they will never monetize her again is insane.

I would say Ruan Mei Rerun/Firefly Banner is good and bad.
It’s good because of the value of most characters. Xueyi is ok, Misha is fine, Gallagher is probably the only good 4 star there, and then there’s Ruan Mei’s most versatile Harmony along with other harmonies. The bad part is that people want Firefly but also need Ruan Mei especially when they’re F2P

For 2.5 i believe triple banner , and in that rerun Black Swan and Sparkle, more 3th rerun any old characters.

Dr Ratio likely come around the same time as Aventurine because they both left around the same time and it will definitely sell good because people had been shipping them since December, when Final Victor light cone was leaked

@@darkgrundi9543 thats a matter of opinion cus in my opinion and a lot of other people he has good design....also i like foxians and he reminds me of Yae miko (if you know her). Cunning foxian male haha. Also his eng va is a va of one of my fav characters in genshin (kazuha) so thats another reason
I dont think theyll do a third banner unless they plan on seriously upping the passive jades per patch. Characters are already hard to keep up with with our current jade income, and a third banner would only inflate this issue more and cause ftp/low spenders to actually miss more characters instead of get more characters.

@Boltwin89 i do skip. That's the entire point of what I'm saying though. Now instead of skipping 2-4 characters you're skipping 3-6 at a time. I'm not sure why you're trying to imply this wouldn't cause issues as it clearly would lol.

@@voxploxxwell, there will be more character per patch anyway because people won’t like to wait 2-3 years for a rerun eventually. Giving people more choice is good. I would be happy if they just put all the characters in the selector banner in a couple of months after their release. But it wouldn’t mean that they should give 10x jades income because all the banners are available lol.
While I think it would be NICE if they upped jades per patch, you have to remember that ultimately they want people to spend money. Slowly turning up the pressure more and more on f2p and low spenders to turn them into dolphins and whales is in their business interest. And so, a third banner with perhaps a very small amount of jades per patch (like upping 720 to 800 for one more ticket a full rotation) makes a great amount of business sense.

Not strong, but E6 makes it easier to apply her buff.
For the people in the comments, yes she is strong, 30% crit rate and 100% crit damage with a HUGE atk boost is no joke BIS, but she is hard to use, she sometimes can replace Tingyun and that tells a lot.
@@TheLastGhostLegendario Yukong doesn't give 100% Crit Damage, It's like 70ish% CD at LV 12 Traces. Which is far away from the 100% CD your saying.
Damn, my last banner prediction was very close got both sub banners and 4/6 four stars. For this one is a bit harder. Ill say for Yunli, huohuo (because 2phase is a healer), yukong, march7, dan heng. 2nd phase i think Seele to close the circle for reruns, tingyun, sushang, qq for four stars. Im gonna roll for FF and Yunli.
We might actually start to get more 4 stars given how many new names appeared at the end if the stream.

Sparkle makes sense to run in conjunction with Jiaoqiu given the story line rather than Huohuo since having 2 banners for healers (per the drip marketing lore, Jiaoqiu reads like he's a healer) doesn't seem like it would make much sense

I commend the banner releases (both for 4* and 5* character) of HSR. The Acheron banner with Pela and Gallagher can make a good team which I used with Fire MC to defeat Aventurine boss fight (I'm TL50 at that time).
Because of good banner releases, I can say that I have a decent roster of characters overall. Whatever I need for my account to grow, the game releases that banner. Buying the Express Supply Pass helped and with some luck/timing, got free Ratio, Bronya on Departure Warp, early copy of Lynx and Tingyun, got Sparkle, Acheron with E4 Pela and E2 Gallagher, Aventurine, Jingliu and Fuxuan. I'm just thinking I need more buffer and then Ruan Mei's banner is just around the corner. Thankfully that I only lost one 50/50 (Gepard for Robin).
Currently saving for Ruan Mei, hope I can get her early🤞. Looking into the future, I'm interested with Jiaoqiu (if he is a healer with additional utility), my Acheron can appreciate a little help beside another Nihility unit other than Pela. Then next is Kafka, I want to dive into DOT teams and she is a must in DOT meta.

Jiaoqiu according to leaks is a def break supp that fits with acheron, then I expect silver wolf rerun alongside him or maybe black swan

Calling it now, Blade will be the rerun of 2.4 (i know some leaks about Yinlin from other comments) and Yukong will be on the first half because she synergizes with Yinlin, Sushang will be skipped. And on the second rerun there will be either Arlan to fill the slot or Dan Heng because they don't intend to sell a male banner well anyway as they always do.
Sad but true in these waifu-centric games

My Prediction on the Reruns
Huohuo, Black Swan, and Seele (I think I'd lean on Seele probably on first Half). (Ratio could be good to slot in instead of starting the 2.x Reruns, but I can Imagine he'll get pushed back a couple banners (Early 2.6) because I can Imagine they'll wait to Rerun him relative to the average rerun wait time (7-8 Banners) Since he stopped being Free. Rather then 7-8 or so banners from his Initial banner. Huohuo is obvious because of the Hungry Ghost Festival In china & Huohuo is quite Ghostly related. I think I'm leaning on them to Start moving over to Double reruns in 2.4, and Seele would be Perfect to base the 2.4 Apocalyptic Shadow on. They could make the Side mobs (Which would spawn every time one gets killed, & they would be very Squishy & give a Extra turn to any unit that kills them & The boss gains a Damage Vulnerability stackable with how many side mobs your unit has Killed
My most anticipation rerun character after 2.3 are kafka, and black swan, and maybe there will be new character focuses on Dot, i'l pick them instead
My guess for 2.4 is probably Seele then Silver Wolf.
For 4 stars:
First Half is probably Arlan, Qingque and the upcoming March Alter. Second Half is probably Sampo, Yukong and Pela

Arlan and Yukong had the longest to be boosted I just feel like Arlan would be in Yunli’s banner while Yukong is at Jiaoqiu’s banner
I really think they will rerun acheron on the second half with Jiaoqui. Based on the 2.3 livestream, they are starting to create banners that makes sense (firefly and ruan mei, Jade and Argenti+Serval) acheron will also sell regardless if she's already back
I think 2.4 will have Seele and Huo2 reruns while SW and Ratio will be in 2.5
I believe The reruns are going to be Huo Huo first phase (bc there's a rumor that Jiaoqiu is gonna be a Nihility healer so 2 healers in the same phase would be weird) and if we are going with the Xianzhou luofu theme, maybe Blade as a rerun. Dan Heng IL could be too but he already had a really fresh rerun in the 2.0 so I don't think they will do it.
With Jade being a good team member for Blade, getting his rerun soon might be good for his 2nd rerun sales, also Seele has been too power crept and we will be getting a quantum dps in 2.3 second phase so I'm not seeing her or Silver Wolf rerunning in 2.4(also to have more variety in the rerun timings so it's not always the same)
so far they removed jiaoqius healing from his kit.
Huohuo still makes the most sense for yunli since shes kind of a tank (so needa healer) and she is relying on her ult (huohuo gives energy)
For jiaoqiu i think silverwolf makes the most sense since they both would be acheron supports, and they could bring seele next patch after silverwolf to bring the entire quantum team close to each other again the same way they did in 1.3 fuxuan, 1.4 seele, 1.5 silverwolf now theyy could do 2.2 fuxuan, 2.3 jade (also quantum), 2.4 silverwolf 2.5 seele
I wanna set Huohuo before Jiao like the whole Luocha before Aventurine, but they broke that mold with 2 erudition in the same banner. And Jiao is nihility chef healer, so probably not THAT insane of healing even compared to Huohuo. Sparkle is a safer bet than BS, but BS and Jiao sounds like a "oh dont you want these nihility characters? Not even one? "

I doubt they'll ever Rerun Yukong again on a featured banner. They forgot about her, and want us to forget about her. That being said, When we get Herta's Last Eidolon for Free, Maybe they aren't rerunning Yukong anymore because maybe she's the next 4 star they'll give all the Eidolons for Free in the SU after Herta.
They are running 2 Erudition characters in 2.3 phase 2 though.. there might be a slim chance they'd run 2 Nihilities together

Dr Ratio is a weird u it to try to predict, because everyone got him for free up till 2.3. I don’t believe that Hoyo will rerun him for a while bc it simply won’t sell well. If they do rerun him soon, then the character with him will have to be rlly good and hyped for so that the banner itself gets them good revenue.

my dhil team is crazy strong with the addition of sparkle (i run dhil, tingyun, sparkle, sustain) so definitely go for sparkle if dhil is ur best dps!
ruan mei is also a great choice across the board, and since u have kafka (and presumably, a DOT team), RM fits right in there as well. personally, i use RM with jingliu team and my boothill team.
u may also want to consider that the meta will shift slightly towards break characters (firefly and boothill) and RM is definitely tied to them as she increases the weakness break efficiency, enabling them to break faster and deal bigger damage.
but also acheron exists as the strongest dps with no one coming close at 2nd place. you may want to pick up jiaoqiu since he is a nihility unit and may be a debuffer. take that with a grain of salt as im just assuming since the recent Nihility units have been dot characters and then....acheron lmao so i think we're due for a Nihility debuffer; aka like upgraded pela or welt. but if u do already have 2 units that work with acheron that also provides debuffs then ur finee, no need for jiaoqiu. (let's be honest, does acheron really need supports? shes crazy strong 😭)

Pull Ruan Mei banner, try to get galagher for archeron sustain. Then wait to see 2.4 reruns, if u like to use DHIL, go for sparkle if she appears in 2.4 or if u prefer to use kafka&archeron, you can opt for black swan or jiao qiu (black swan would be better if you use with kafka, or not you can just wait for 2.5 ch. if u get Ruan Mei early and kind of like firefly, pull her for fire element. Supports go a long way (Ruan Mei and sparkle), so either would be a good investment since u don’t have robin too

As someone who might have started the game Because of Kafka and lost her 50/50 to Yanqing in 1.6. Do we have any predictions for her 3rd rerun? Could help me plan out future pulls aswell
Kafka only had 1 rerun so far.....her first banner was in 1.1 2nd half and her first rerun was 4 patches later in 1.6 2nd half. So i think she could rerun after Huo Huo, Ratio, Black swan, Sparkle and Acheron rerun so maybe in 2.6-2.7
We are getting new 4 stars. So I bet the lineups will be different.
i don't like the idea of a third banner, for me the best would be new temp banner (character & lc), old temp banner (like genshin you have a pool, you choose one if you won 50/50 you got, else it's an other from the pool), pity from temp banner are shared, then the perm banner with his gray ticket. hoping hsr will think about that. But yeah yukong have to fall one day, i don't even now in wich kind of team she's great 😢, it's sad because i like her kit

I will speak from ignorance and lack of knowledge, but I believe it is possible or mandatory that in 2.4 one of the 4 stars on the banner is the new March 7, I don't know if it is a free character and farmable copies for story/missions, but if not, I think he would be a banner character
she will def be on the banner, most likely on yunli since they do have some synergy and could share some story

My 4* char and lightcone roster are getting absolutely decimated by MHY because of that.

Hello, I just returned after quitting when the game was at the beginning (I did all the content back there up to the Abundance deer boss) but now that I am back I find my roster lacking and even after gearing them up a bit I am struggling in Penacony. I am saving up a bit, I got Boothill but after that I lack an serious Fire/Ice/wind damage dealer so I was wondering if you would recommend me trying to get Firefly or the fire Nihility character of 2.4, thank you.

I actually don't like raising Serval but I need her for lightning weakness . I don't any lightning DPS .
Sampo & Gui also good in pure fiction especially this version since it is AOE DOT based focus .

Firefly's best team uses a free character(Harmony MC) and a 4-star sustain(Ghalagher) and she has a good f2p option in Fall of Aeons and she also makes good use of Asta who is a free unit. So, she is very friendly to returning players and new ones alike.
Some people might tell you Firefly isn't usable without Mei, these people don't know what they are talking about.
Is she significantly weaker without Mei? yes. but the same is true for DHIL without Sparkel and Kafka without BlackSwan but they are still good units even without their best in slot teammates and the same holds true for Firefly.
We don't know much about Jiaoqiu outside of super early kit leaks, but it seems like he's gonna be a support tailor maid for Acheron so if you don't have Acheron he might not be worth it.

if yunli is going to be a limited Clara then yikong might be first half because Yukong is actually very very good with Clara and its yukongs whole niche

I honestly dont understand why genshin or hsr dont just take the expansion pick supply idea from honkai 3rd and impliment it?? They could rotate so many previous characters every patch... it would make their sales go up aswell, no?

my prediction are
yunli comes with a huohuo rerun since she is a desturction taunt unit so putting a healer with her makes sense, especially since she relies a lot on her ult, while huohuo gives evergy.
For the featured 4stars im not too sure but i would assume any 3 of those make the most sense,
1. yukong since she has some use with yunli since u can keep the buff for all the counters if playec correctly
2. tingyun, again gives energy which yunli probably needs and is again a buffer for her.
3. march 7th (hunt), im talking about the new imaginary hunt one since she will probably be related in the story to yunlin atleast a bit (maybe learning how to use the swords from her) but also gameplay wise i think the new march has some decent synergy with yunli.
4.lynx, puts a taunt on yunli, will be a great synergy
For jiaoqiu i feel like a silverwolf rerun makes the most sense. So far jiaoqiu seems to be the best support for acheron and them bringing silverwolf who is another nihility unit used by acheron makes sense, and bringing silverwolf now would make sense to bring seele in the next patch as a rerun since seele and silverwolf have synergy too.
4 Stars are again a bit hard but some do make some sense,
1. pela, its basiccaly the 4star version of jiaoqiu and silverwolf and can replace either on an acheron team
2. Guinafen makes a lot of sense too, both nihilty fire, can both be played with acheron but also brings in the kafka team where jiaoqiu might work well in too, only reason i dont like this idea is because a kafka rerun could come too and she would belong on there too
3. sampo has the same case and same problem as guinafen but imo less likely
4. any unit that hasnt been there for a while like hook, sushang, qq, arlan
I highly doubt Silver Wolf will rerun that soon, it'd be her 3rd banner now. Keep in mind that we needed 12 banners to get a 2nd Fu Xuan rerun -3rd banner- then there's Kafka, SW and Seele as far as 1.x characters go. BUT there are characters who still haven't had their first rerun like Black Swan or Sparkle, and they are usually given priority. Also, Jiaoqiu should be nihility meaning less odds of SW rerunning this soon unless they pull a double nihility banner like they did with Jade and Argenti. I would be surprised if that were to happen. And I hope it's not the case, because I want Silver Wolf for MQ and I'm on my 50/50 after getting RM.

Sparkle and black swan were both 2.0 so quite a bit later than silverwolf.
If you look at the banner history to me it looks like hoyo always wants to either make the 2 banners have synergy or make the current and next one have synergy.
Sparkle, blackswan and silverwolf imo all make sense,
sparkle would have the synergy with yunli and huohuo
blackswan and jiaoqiu are both good in acheron teams but jiaoqiu only works in dot teams if e2 so not sure if they would want to push that with a dot based character and bringing blackswan now would basically mean kafka has to come afterwards which would also ruin the 1st rerun before 2nd rerun for sparkle.
silverwolf as i said is a great support for acheron and it would set up a seele rerun which from i can see has had the longest time without a rerun, and it would keep the entire quantum team somewhat close
I think a double nihilty makes the most sense because jiaoqiu is made to be a good acheron support, there just wouldnt be a good acheron support that isnt nihility.
@@joey-desu Because SW already has had TWO banners before, just like Fu Xuan, making this her third appearance in 8 patches. Sparkle has only had ONE banner, and it was in 1.6, so they'll rerun her first. The newer characters get priority, here and in every other gacha game.

@Krugmatik multiple new characters were revealed at the end of the life stream. Moze is one of them, an old man that's been mentioned in passing in game is another.
silverwolf might be in 2.4 because jiaoqiu is probably going to be a 5* pela replacement for acheron so people who dont have silverwolf will have to pull for both of them
They put ruan mei before huo huo for a rerun, given the place we will return to I feel huo huo for sure 2.4
They did that recently didn't they bringing a character forward.

I think we won't be getting any 3 banners. It's hard to say, but most early characters already feel underwhelming. Seele just doesn't really work, JY is probably carry with the least pull value (as we have another 2 AoE electro DPS characters), Luocha doesn't have much going on, SW is kinda just a pela side grade and Blade is... Extremely underwhelming. So I think we just won't have any 2nd reruns of these characters till 3.0 and then we might get a chronicle banner, since units like Argenti and topaz would be also demanding a rerun by that time. Maybe we would even get units similar to IL, JL and Kafka, so their value would drop and they'll join later.

I think Jiaoqiu is going to be run alongside Black Swan. Unless I'm mistaken, they're supposed to work amazingly together for DOT teams, similar to how Ruan Mei and Firefly work amazingly together for Break teams (which got them put together for a single banner cycle).
Also, for some reason I think Arlan will get put of Yunli's banner. Yunli supposedly has some HP drain, so Arlan would create a little theme. (Also, Yukong definitely needs to be on a banner soon. I'm starting to feel bad for her.)
idk i read his kit and there is no synergy with dot nor black swan basically at all except his e2 giving him a fire dot and him lowery enemy effect res.
His supportive stuff comes from making enemies take more dmg (which i dont think works with dot) and giving even more ult dmg, so he is just a acheron support.
He is more of a acheron support than a dot support, so making the banners more in favour of acheron makes sense, while black swan is decent, silverwolf imo just makes more sense since she is really good with acheron and it will enable them to rerun seele after silverwolf which they have synergy too
