Fr. They are giving us so many incentives to build those teams that it feels kinda of stupid to only play hypercarry at this point. Although everyone obviously plays whatever they want.
whats the difference between hypercarry and and a break team? one focuses more on the toughness bar. think about it. the main dps to break the bar. 2 to support (HMC and RM) then the sustain. sounds like break is just hypercarry in another form. the only time this is not so is when you play herta and Himiko in that one type of endgame.
Then you are a whale. True F2Ps go Hypercarry. You only need Sparkle + Tingyun + ANY HYPERCARRY + ANY SUSTAIN. That's it. You'll pull like maybe once in 3 patches.
For F2P / low spender that still unsure about team to play: get the support units, while some require good hypercarry unit, sometimes it is interchangeable with some fun setup: Ie. If you are getting Sparkle but don't have DHIL, you might be able to pair her with Qingque or even Serval. Ie. If you are getting Robin, but don't have FuA units, pair her with Herta or Sushang can works. TL;DR IMO. support generally has more flexible use cases with different carry, but carry usually has less flexibility on what support they wanted in their team.
For new players Boothill or SAM should be good. They will work well with F2P Imaginary MC + Bronya + Gallagher. Bronya can be swapped for Ruan Mei, Gallagher for 5* sustain, but those teams will work well even without supports. Alternatively, Acheron + Pela + any nihility unit who applies debuffs even Serval + Gallagher or some sustain like Fu Xuan/Adenturine with Universal Market LC with work well. Each of those teams is fully functional with just one 5* DPS without need for more investment, should be able to clear MoC 11 with not issues, even MoC 12 with good relics. Sparkle - in most teams she is replicable by Bronya, except for DHIL/QingQue. She is a nice unit, but doesn't have as much flexibility as I previously though after using her in different team composition. She is nice with DHIL, even Herta in Pure Fiction. DHIL - he is still good with Sparkle, but without her he is falling behind, he is probably not worth investing compared to newer DPS like Acheron, Boothil/SAM or even jingliu. He needs to have SP positive supports, which makes him inflexible. Robin - she works on Ruan Mei's level with most teams, with FuA she is better. However, I would only use Robin currently with Dr. Ratio + Topaz, but Dr.Ratio + Topaz + Robin isn't reliable, because Dr. Ratio needs 3 debuffs Topaz gives only one. So you would want E1S0 Topaz or E0S1 Topaz. Getting Robin + Topaz + Topaz LC is already investment cost of 3, and even then Dr. Ratio will miss sometimes due to not having 3 debuffs. I wouldn't recommend getting Robin over Ruan Mei for most players. Ruan Mei is so far best support, so far for all teams. Dots for retriggering dots, break teams, hyper carry teams, dual dps. She is worth getting for sure. Jingliu - is still good dps, but I haven't use her in last 2 MoC, because of meta changing, MoC doesn't have ice weakness as often. Even though Adventurine boss is weak to ice, I couldn't defeat him with E0S0 Jingliu, because Adventurine's boss mechanics mess us with Jingliu rotation causing her to waste a lot of damage on cubes. I ended up using less invested Acheron to defeat Adventurine boss. What to pull really depends on what units you have, what you are struggling with, upcoming moc boss weaknesses / buffs, etc. Meta is changing, so as low spender I need to adapt. Old units often require a bit of investment to work. Often you have a choice of pulling support to make your old dps usable or getting new dps like Acheron, which works great without existing supports.
You forgot about sustain unit I feel like limited 5*sustain are more priority than 5*limited harmony.... @@flatdefgod2960 Yeah, that's true. A good sustain like Adventurine/Fu Xuan can solo sustain allowing to use 3 slots for offensive units. Like 2 harmony + 1 hyper carry. I started being able to clear last MoC 12 when I was able to use 3 units, with 2 I wasn't doing enough damage. I would rather use 1 dps + 2 4*harmony then 1 dps + 1 5* harmony + 2 sustains.
One team that i think should have a group of its own or mihoyo will expand further is an ultimate oriented team like argenti. You can actually see what types of playstyle mihoyo is cooking by looking at sim uni paths.
This is really a good format. I often found players that pull a certain DPS chara due to hype, only to end up they regret the decision because they not enjoy the type of DPS. Chart like this will help people to be informed that right now, each DPS has different playstyle and team build. I would suggest you make a video that explain the pros and cons of each archetype. Because I saw some players not aware that Dan Heng IL is heavy on SP, Topaz isn't a hypercarry, and such. They only see showcase video that do big damage but without them being explained.
My engineering nerd side is enjoying this a lot. The dynamic approach to play a game makes it very fun for me, where I put more brain cells into this than actually doing engineering work irl lmao. I actually made 2 accounts just to experiment on these dynamic methods without compromising on gameplay performance.
Same here. I'm getting mainly E0S0 characters so I can experiment with different combinations. Characters are weaker individually, but MoC 12 can be overcomed with proper team composition / character build.
YUP! The game really tingles your ability to make a calculated decision especially when you are going F2P. Even when you are a spender, resource management will still become an issue as it take roughly about a month to max out a character. They have a tighter relic restriction unlike Genshin's artifact system. The game really tests your management skills as compared to other gacha games I've played before.
@@oHarlequinn yeah i agree, it's gear grinding. I am a light spender (Monthly Pass + BP), I actually have 120-ish passes saved up right before i go for characters i want, which still requires a lot of planning and disicpline.

So far, for me at least, DoT team is the most versatile team. Why? Why not follow up? Why not break team? Why not Hypercarry team? People might ask that. 1. DoT ignore defense. Apart from their own element resistance. DoT is capable enough to deal damage thru the toughness meter. Especially bosses like Aventurine, and Gepard. 2. Relics are easier to farm because you dont need to focus on Crit. Just attack. (Well maybe EHR for Black Awan) 3. I can see the team can be a future proff (how u spell it?) Team. Kafka as an example, despite being release last year, still a top choice for MoC and most end game content. Her KITS is simple yet, too good. 4. What if there better DoT team other than the current one? You can make another team of DoT if you have enough resources. Maybe instead of Kafka + Black Swan you can go for Black Swan + Sampo as an example, or Kafka + Guinaifen (my first DoT team consist of Kafla, Guinaifen, HuoHuo and Pela) Now why i think Hypercarry team like Jingliu and Dan Heng IL are not versatile, firstly, game keep changing, most new bosses have toughness that are either too tough or have resistance to the respective elements which is difficult to pass thru. Follow Up team can be versatile but there a problem you see, most follow up character right now required Crit in their Relics. And Crits build is not easy to get, plus only Aventurine are easy to build because he is a sustainer. Break team, so far we have only few characters that required break in their kits, and that is Xueyi, Gallagher, Ruan Mei, and Harmony MC. Maybe with the addition of Firefly and Boothill the team can be versatile. Because i can see this break team can also reach DoT team level. But that only my take, Enjoy any team you like to play with.
2) For Swan you mostly will get the EHR from substats very nicely if you have her LC, if not then you can use the body piece's main stat for EHR. So she isn't that hard to farm eaither (okay maybe she will have a bit less dmg if you use EHR body piece but that's a different question). 4) Well, without a second unit that can detonate Dot as Kafka does, you would lose out on dmg a lot. But even if there will be a Kafka-like character we can just make 2 teams for content where you need 2 teams at once. So DoT is really very much one of the best types and very time enduring as well. I personally would never switch from a good DoT team (preferably including Kafka) if the game itself will not make the DoT lifestyle harder in favour of a different playstyle. So there is no wonder why lots of people (including me) call Nihility and DoT an everlasting meta or "straight-up cheat code".
You’re ideas for videos are very unique and original! They somehow feel different from the videos other hsr creators release, almost like the creators are too “ near-sighted” in their videos most of the time. It feels like whenever a new character releases, content creators freak out, and start doom posting about power creep, when in reality it might just be hsr going somewhere else with the game to benefit it in the long run (more versatility in characters = more fun team building) Like you said, maybe they focus too much on the present while using a bottom up approach. TLDR; It almost seems like content creators sometimes don’t even acknowledge the possibility of the game devs knowing what they are doing and that the newly added character is just a “random” addition to their game.
I'm waiting for Basic Attacker Team, Skill Focused Team, Energy Based Team, HP Regen Team, Delay Team, etc. There's a lot of possible team composition for HSR to create in the future.
It's interesting, I was expecting Dual/Multiple DPS teams to be up there with the classic JingLiu and Blade combo and now the HMC making everyone a dps. But it's funny that the first half is team types and the second half is something that needs to be sacrificed to gain a higher benefit. For example, sacrificing skill points for more DMG, nihility debuffs mean sacrificing less or no harmony buffs and can be restrictive, HP decay is self-explanitory, and the faster or often a character is means they sacrifice their dmg to have more turns because less sub-stats in offensive stats and more into SPD or bursting earlier with Argenti less DMG or even robin not generating skill points as she's CC. I love this sacrificing mentality for substancial gain and it's really fun to play around!
this is such a good content. i just came back to HSR and the amount of team comp now makes me feel overwhelmed. This way of thinking makes looking team and units lot easier to digest.
My favorite team by far right now is FUA, but I’m definitely interested in trying for a break team. Hoping to get Ruan Mei on rerun, and I’ll just have to get lucky with the either boothill or firefly. I really haven’t decided yet on which one.
I'm happy with the current state of the game and team building has only become more and more fun. I do hope we see more support for the HP Decay teams as I've been itching to bring back my Blade and Luocha into rotation. Great vid and excited to see more!
I’d love to see a bit of analysis done with this concept by you. For example, looking across the roster and identifying how many archetypes different characters fit into in order to discuss pull/build efficiency. Obviously harmony units like Ruan Mei would fit into a lot of archetypes but it would be interesting to think about the most versatile DPS and sustain pulls that straddle playstyle, like Acheron or Black Swan.
IMO the best investment is still element coverage because no matter what the MOC/PF buff is, elemental weakness is a universal constant. Looking at current MOC floor 12, it's no surprise Kafka/Acheron dominates 1st half while Ratio/Imbibitor dominates the 2nd half, thanks to their elemental coverage. It's also why mono quantum with silver wolf was so favoured for f2p/low spender. How you attain this coverage is up to what you chose to pull (eg. Wind has black swan vs blade, who serve 2 different play styles) but ideally try to achieve one DPS per element.
Seele is your traditional brute force hypercarry right since she has 25 % quantum pen lol what do you mean niche. She is the hypercarry that makes the best use of any action advance /turn manipulation mechanics + her low cost ultimate is why she is still #1/2 for low cost(team eidolons /lightcone) 0 cycling
I'm really glad I invested in many different teams, I have a lot of variety on my account and that makes the game a lot more fun. My favorite ones by far are DoT, FUA and Super Break.
Same and what's good with these teams is that they all need or appreciate Ruan mei so we just need 3 other units to form said archetype however it can also be downside since there's only one Ruan Mei if we need both teams, though on FUA there's Robin now but Ruan Mei is just good.
@@jyusatsu I use Silver Wolf in the FUA team, because Dr. Ratio, so Ruan Mei is free for the other two. For that reason I always try to use the FUA team as much as possible, so that I have to use only one of the other two and thus don't need them to fight for Ruan Mei.
Suggestion, maybe call the Fast/Often category "Rush" where they want to rush in some way in their playstyle whether through multiple actions, advances or energy gain for ults.
Unless you're dead set on playing a specific comp, it's better to pull based on what you have, and what's coming out (including reruns). If you pulled Robin and Topaz, builds towards follow up. If you really like Boothill, build towards break (pull Ruan Mei). DoT shouldn't be considered unless you have Kafka. Debuff isn't really a thing unless you have Acheron. Hypercarry is very easy to do, just need strong supports (Tingyun is 4 star) and 1 dps. Personally for f2p / new players, I think DoT and Break will be the best choices. DoT you just need Kafka. Use Guinafen, Luka, or Sampo > eventually Black Swan or new DoT unit. Can Use Asta till Ruan Mei or new DoT support. Break you already have Harmony MC, just need Ruan Mei + Break like Boothill (or some fire destruction char). These 2 team types are easier to build in terms of relics/ substats. No crit required, just Atk + Spd (some effect hit rate), or just Break Effect + Spd. Hypercarry is the easiest in terms of doesn't matter what's on banner. 1 dps + Tingyun + Pela + sustain, done. Can replace Pela for 5 star support.
hypercarry is a different dimension. its probably best if we split it to FuA/DoT/Break and the last should be direct dps or something. Boothill for example is break hypercarry, dr.Ratio is Fua hypercarry, same with Jin. Seele is direct hypercarry units are also hypercarries/subdps/buffers/debuffers/mitigators/healers. ofc sustain and amplifiers works also
I personally make my teams theme based on the gameplay aspects of the paths. My Clara Topaz double carries team is fully focused on FUA, being themed around Elation. My Dan IL Hypercarry team is themed around Propagation since it's about SP being consumed and recover constantly. Now that I'm back to play hsr, I will make an Argenti team being based on the path of Erudition, because his focus on ultimate damage, and an Break team with Harmony MC and Firefly or Xueyi.
as a low spender i will be completely skipping break dps for now. I am personally more interested in FUA and acheron´s synergistic characters, i wil first focus on making these teams stronger and then latter pick a good break dps on a rerun
I think I've thought of another team type: The substitute category. It's where a certain part of a character's kit is not fulfilled in a normal way. Eg: Blade/Jingliu with hp consumption instead of skill points, Acheron and Feixiao with ult stacks from teammates instead of energy, firefly and DHIL with ults that replace either skill points or health, Gallagher whose ult replaces a skill point, and acts like a second Firefly for weakness reduction. These teams often dont require as much investment as their kits act as a self buff and their teammates can enhance their damage with little effort. Eg Blade, Jingliu and Bronya with skill points, Acheron, Gallagher, Pela etc for ult stacks, Ruan Mei, HMC, Firefly, and Gallagher full break team
my DPS: jingyuan, blade, jingliu, acheron, ratio my supports: bronya, robin, black swan, pela, tingyun, asta sustain: gepard & luocha and I've had no issues even tho I've no plans to pull for core units like topaz, aventurine, sw and ruan mei.. looking forward to a 5* nihility support for my acheron and ratio. great video overall!
TLDR: Hyppercary, DOT, FUA and break are the only teams. There are sub types of unit that however want more specified teams, skill points, debuffer, hp decay and action economy. They still fall into the above teams, just that their more specific subspecies. (Like duo/trio carry being a subsidiary of hypercarry, debuff being DOT sub, Action economy being sub of FUA and break now having super break).
In my personal opinion Jl and blade also fill 3 or more roles. Jl. 1- hp drain, obviously a team wide hp drain enabler. 2- hypercarry. Can abuse sp hungry supports, but at the same time can't synergies with sp consumption mechanics. 3- dual dps: good sp economy ( still negative, but wayy better then most dps. ) + great self buffs + sp economy. Make her good as a sup dps even if powercrept ( dmg wise not kit wise, as each character has hes strwngh and weaknesses, no units is other one 100% ). 4- fast/often. She can act fast often( e state av advance + spd traces + 10% av on normal skill ) she CAN be fast even without bronya. Utilise her kit correctly. ( But obviously bronya makes it better, but she CAN work without her ). Blade. 1- hp drain: hes fua+hp tally ult+e state activation etc ( hes entier kit is screems hp drain/manipulation) 2- hyper carry: need specifialed suppert for him ( not avaible yet )but he can be used nonetheless. 3- dou dps: hes sp ecomony ( still negative, but even better then Jl ) + hp drain synergy ( only Jl but can see more ) 4- tank/solo dps ( if all team dies or running sustainles comps ):hes sustainability+ good base def and hp + hes fua interaction with enemies. ( Down side is needing eff res ) Could be even more then that for both of them. But these are the things I noticed about them. Thx for reading all
A better way to frame every team is the win condition of your team. Consider what your team ultimately wants to do, and why it functions. Typically, your win condition focuses around the damage dealer, and by framing each new unit around "are they a win condition, or are they an enabler for a win condition" will help far more in resource optimization. Seele, for instance, is a win condition. Her win condition is "I will hit the enemy with so much damage, they will die in 1~2 turns and therefore I will gain more turns." Her entire team, then, is based around making sure she can kill an enemy in 1~2 turns. Seele is not meta-resilient in this regard. Harmony MC, however, is a completely new win condition. Instead of saying "I am Harmony and therefore help your win condition be better" HMC says "I will create a new win condition for you to work around." In addition, HMC is very meta-resilient, as HMC only depends on one thing, enemy toughness. This is why Acheron is the best DPS in the game. She is a win condition completely by herself. Her request is "As long as the enemy can be debuffed, my win condition exists." This can only really be countered by an enemy that cannot be debuffed. Other than that, every component of her win condition depends on you the player, rather than variables out of your control.
Thanks for this video. I'm really been stuck with who i should be focusing on recently. I have so many characters to play and only 2 of my teams are partially build without being able to 12 star moc or 12 star PF. Really need to sit down and focus on 1 character again
Hypercarry is fun- I really like QQ or Argenti hypercarry- but dual dps teams (herta, himeko), fua (ratio aven) and break (boothill my beloved) are SO fun
@EODGamerSG I love your guides and At the end there you said you have a channel for wuthering waves too? I can't find it tho, did you scrap it already?
Erm... You got a definition wrong. Almost all of break teams are hypercarry, because hypercarry just means you have one DPS character and other three are sustain/supports. Opposite of hypercarry should be a team where multiple characters deal damage, like DoTs - Kafka is who enables those teams, but she is not the only one DPS in the team. Same goes for other teams as well, for example hp decay can be a hypercarry or not (because you can run Jingliu with Blade or can put only one of them as a dps). What you probably meant by Hypercarry is a standard team with no special gimmicks. Also, i don't think skill points team should be considered as its own type, as we don't have enough characters representing it: only DHIL, Qingque and Sparkle. Because if we do so, we might as well add other niche teams as their own type, like mono quantum, counterattacks or hybrid break.
@@stribijev which is not correct. Hypercarry is a team of a solo damage dealer, that carries your whole team, while other members boost that character. It has nothing to do with the form of damage dealt, if it is crits, superbreak, or any other fancy way of dealing damage. Most break teams are Hypercarry by definition, Ruan Mei, Gallagher and Harmony MC buff team's Carry character. You could say "RM and Gallagher also deal damage", but that damage is small compared to said Carry. And if not Hypercarry, then it's a duo dps team, where damage is dealt by two characters, one of which is HMC
I mean, Hypercarry literally consists of two words, hyper and carry. Second is a role of a character, first shows the fixation of the team on said character. Nothing suggests this is about Crits. To say more, this termin is not even tied to HSR or GI, and a simple google search will give you this: «The Hypercarry Strategy is a strategy where a team focuses all the resources on one hero only, hence the name Hypercarry. The hero that acquires all the resources is called a "carry" or a "funnel".»
@@stribijev i said it in my original message: "What you probably meant by Hypercarry is a standard team with no special gimmicks" 🗿 My point from the very beginning was that naming specifically "Crit Hypercarry teams with no special mechanics" as Hypercarry is wrong, because at least 4 out of 7 other team types can be Hypercarry as well
Another great video as always! Thank you for broadening our knowledge of HSR gameplay beyond the top 4 most common teams (Hypercarry, DoT, FuA, Break). I know that sustains and generic support are a must pull since they are versatile into any kind of team (and pull any of your waifu/husbando regardless of meta) but which DPS do you think is a top-tier pull in terms of versatility across game modes and can work with any support? Again amazing video as always! Keep it up!!
Yeah I have only recently thought about it terms of "how much do I need to get this team going". For the FuA exodia, I missed 50/50 on Topaz tho I do have Aventurine and Robin. For Break, I have HMC and Ruan Mei ready for Firefly
Surprised at characters that weren't covered like Welt or Yanqing. Also my weakness is that I don't have any of the characters that do those massive burst damage (aka DMG >500k) only actual limited banner DPS I pulled were King Yuan and Blade. (Have Kafka, E2 Robin, E1 Ruan Mei, Aventurine, Fu Xuan) And standard banner (E2 welt and E2 Yanqing) + everyone buy bronya.
Yeah at the beginning we start at Hypercarry then transition to other Meta. Right now I'm on Debuff/FUA team, as Acheron and Dr. Ratio as my Mains respectively. Despite that, I'm skipping Robin for Ruan Mei. I believe that Ruan Mei offer more on my account versus Robin (I have E1 Bronya and Sparkle) and she will be effective or competitive on every meta.
starting hypercarry, move to DOT, then FUA/debuff, back to hypercarry. Not that big of a rotation. Break is just another form of hypercarry. main dps, RM and HMC as support, 1 sustain. sounds like hypercary in another form

disagree with the categories after break. Almost all of those are just sub categories of hypercarry. You don't really bring specific characters with Jingliu and Blade because they're HP draining. There aren't supports who benefit from their HP being drained. And the idea that "they need to be played with abundance" is flat out wrong, where Arlan prefers to stay low HP and thus is much safer when played with preservation units instead. The bottom row are just a list of mechanics. If you really want another category, I think Monoelement should get a shoutout. Characters like Silver Wolf, Boothill, and eventually Firefly headline this space. Seele, Sparkle, Fuxuan all do well here. To lesser extents, Asta and Yukong do too. These categories start to make less sense when firefly comes out. She's built like a hypercarry. Her main damage is break. She has advance forward so is fast. She has her own hp decay. Realistically she fits better in the break bucket.
For each level of spending, how many team archetypes would you recommend focusing on? I'm f2p and want to collect DoT, Break, HP decay, and debuff and I'm thinking that's probably too much all at once lol

I qould argue that alot of those bottom half teams can all just slot into Hypercarry. DHIL, Jing Liu, Acheron, even Blade all just usually run Hypercarry teams. I think one team you did forget, is the Dual DPS team.
How is Dr. Ratio valued more than Topaz in FUA Teams? Seriously Topaz enables FUA Teams. To put Ratio above Topaz is insane cause Ratio is just another DPS unit who can do FUA, and can be easily replaced/power crept once a stronger DPS who also does FUA comes around. Topaz on the other hand enables all FUA units by giving them a damage boost. EOD must have some hate boner for Topaz since this is another video he's done putting Ratio above Topaz.
@@lcmbeatdrop the fact that Topaz makes FUA units pop off in damage with her debuffs cemented FUA Teams as one of the major team and puts her value over Ratio. Seriously don't get EOD reasoning is it cause Ratio was free? Even so his damage doesn't pop off as hard with out Topaz assistance
Dude you can easily build a free 4 star break team with HTB - Xueyi (free in this patch), Gallagher (free also in this patch), Trailblazer and Pela! Robin - she works on Ruan Mei's level with most teams, with FuA she is better. However, I would only use Robin currently with Dr. Ratio + Topaz, but
Dr.Ratio + Topaz + Robin isn't reliable, because Dr.

You can actually see what types of playstyle mihoyo is cooking by looking at sim uni paths.
i had the exact same thought! characters like yunli, acheron & fei xaio can be included in this list.
I really appreciate how this channel puts out a lot of content without sacrificing the actual content. Thanks so much
This is really a good format.

(Well maybe EHR for Black Awan)
Maybe instead of Kafka + Black Swan you can go for Black Swan + Sampo as an example, or Kafka + Guinaifen (my first DoT team consist of Kafla, Guinaifen, HuoHuo and Pela)
Now why i think Hypercarry team like Jingliu and Dan Heng IL are not versatile, firstly, game keep changing, most new bosses have toughness that are either too tough or have resistance to the respective elements which is difficult to pass thru.
The ipc premium fua team is basically mono quantum. Almost every boss is either weak to fire and imaginary, so the team has coverage.
Another day, another EoD Gamer win 💪
Seele is direct hypercarry
units are also hypercarries/subdps/buffers/debuffers/mitigators/healers. ofc sustain and amplifiers works also
I love your out-of-the-box approach to these guides. Very informative.
I love this video. Amazing analysis on the types of teams in the game
Thanks for talking about such interesting topics! It makes team building more interesting than just chasing the latest new shiny character.
Eg Blade, Jingliu and Bronya with skill points, Acheron, Gallagher, Pela etc for ult stacks, Ruan Mei, HMC, Firefly, and Gallagher full break team
game became more easier to play and manage when you finally know what type of team you like to play ,on my side DOT/FUA and Break Team are all i need
Hypercarry is the one team that will appears not just in gaccha game, but in pretty much all games with team based combats.
As a new player this was very helpful for me, thanks for the video!
I love HP consumption in Honkai Star Rail. It makes me feel like I'm on the edge of death.

In my personal opinion
Jl and blade also fill 3 or more roles.
Blade.
1- hp drain: hes fua+hp tally ult+e state activation etc ( hes entier kit is screems hp drain/manipulation)
2- hyper carry: need specifialed suppert for him ( not avaible yet )but he can be used nonetheless.
3- dou dps: hes sp ecomony ( still negative, but even better then Jl ) + hp drain synergy ( only Jl but can see more )
4- tank/solo dps ( if all team dies or running sustainles comps ):hes sustainability+ good base def and hp + hes fua interaction with enemies. ( Down side is needing eff res )
Could be even more then that for both of them.
But these are the things I noticed about them. Thx for reading all
I would add "burst" as a type as well since "fast/often" is also in there. This includes dps like Argenti and pre Jiaoqiu Acheron
I predict that once we get to abundance we will get another type: effect damage. Over heal/drain/effect triggered flat hp damage.
Jing Yuan is a Hypercarry, Follow-up Attacker and now there is a Breaker-Jing Yuan build.
Recently i am focusing on FUA teams and its feels good to play in a faster manner.
i think an honorable mention would be the energy hungry team like argenti yunli acheron fei xao.
My Favorite team comp, the babysitter teams one of [Arlan, Yanqing, Misha, Luka] with Robin Ruan Mei and Fu Xuan
I find FUA characters to be pretty universal. Especially when it comes to elemental coverage.
To say more, this termin is not even tied to HSR or GI, and a simple google search will give you this:
«The Hypercarry Strategy is a strategy where a team focuses all the resources on one hero only, hence the name Hypercarry. The hero that acquires all the resources is called a "carry" or a "funnel".»
@@stribijev i said it in my original message: "What you probably meant by Hypercarry is a standard team with no special gimmicks" 🗿
My point from the very beginning was that naming specifically "Crit Hypercarry teams with no special mechanics" as Hypercarry is wrong, because at least 4 out of 7 other team types can be Hypercarry as well
DOT - DOMINATE OVER TIME
Really appreciate this guide, thanks!
My account covers every niche, but building all those characters is a whole different problem. I never have enough trailblaze power 🙃
Sometimes it feels like it’s too late to invest in other teams. DOT looks crazy fun but idk how I’d even begin to build it
Overall I feel the top 3 characters to have are Acheron, Kafka and Ruan Mei.
I love your videos thank you for making so much content
Surprised at characters that weren't covered like Welt or Yanqing.
Also my weakness is that I don't have any of the characters that do those massive burst damage (aka DMG >500k) only actual limited banner DPS I pulled were King Yuan and Blade. (Have Kafka, E2 Robin, E1 Ruan Mei, Aventurine, Fu Xuan) And standard banner (E2 welt and E2 Yanqing) + everyone buy bronya.
Man I love your videos
