It would have helped if you actually put it in your phone to actually show how to use it. Didn't get much just you holding it in your hand and talking about it
Love mine, though it is the 128gb version. Just in case, I keep a USB-A male to USB-C female adapter around in case I need it for this, but the USB-C connector is the way to go, especially for high speed. The holes on each part are a nice touch...one lanyard can run through both and no way to lose the cap!
I ordered one of these since all my newer devices have at least one USB-C port: tablets, phones, laptops, desktops,... I really want to take advantage of the Thunderbolt 4 port.
The only thing I'm afraid of, which seems to be a basic design failure (and deal breaker)... Is the actual port long enough to be possible to plug it into a phone/tablet WITH a case? I feel like it might not be possible, making it a bit of a hassle to use often then.
That is going to depend on your phone software, but my Android phone allows me to select one at a time or do a select all option. On my Samsung phone when I plug it in you will see a USB Storage added at the top, click that and you can access the files on the drive. To move files go to your folder (mine is called My Files), go to your images or video's folder and select the files (or press the all button at the top), click the move button at the bottom, click the back arrow to take you to the first screen again and select the "USB Storage" folder....finally click the move here button. This is for a Samsung Galaxy phone as a apple phone would be different.
