Join Crow, Senior Hiker 77, Gone Feral with Squidly, Caveman OS Hiking, Terry Young Outdoors, and Pyro Bill as we explore Alabama’s Sipsey Wilderness in the Bankhead National Forest. Cold water up to the boys! No thanks! Hiking in wet undies and the chafing that comes from that! Yikes! LOL Cool threading the needle shortcut. Kind of reminded be of the backside of the waterfall in the "Last of the Dogmen" movie with Tom Beringer. Great meetup. Cool that Senior got to check off a bucket list item too. I wished I could be there, but this was my only shot at a backcountry permit before the heat hits.
Watching this video makes me wanna try hiking in the wilderness with friends,

Crow I hiked part of Blakely Historic State Park on the Mobile/Tensaw Delta last week. Wonderful forest. They have camping but the park is just 1200 acres so it's better for day hiking or as a home base to explore the Delta.

Mister and I got to meet Max and John at the RRG UA-camr meetup! Great guys! Loved the Folgers commercial. Oh man Cinderella! My favorite song of theirs was Nobody's Fool. So did you always break into songs if your kids said something that reminded you of a song? I do it to the constant irritation of the Rugged Mountain siblings! ugh the Nemo Tensor! So comfy but mine is currently being replaced under warranty. Make sure he knows they'll replace it! Super fun adventure Crow!
Oh yeah! My kids make fun of me constantly for all the 80s hair bands references. I am now THAT GUY…they call me a boomer. I still live in the 80s…nobody’s fool…sounds like that song may need to be in a future crow videos! 😂✌️

That tree’s a biggun! So that’s a Yellow Poplar, so I read. There’s a big Gennett Poplar up on the Bear Creek trail in the Cuhutta here in GA.

To tell you the truth…that Kelty tent “Late Start” is my favorite tent. It is not that light…but, I love it. Plus, I did a video about a free standing tent while I was out there. It will be out soon. I love tents too. It is a car show. 😂😂✌️

I'm glad yall didn't go Super Bowl weekend... we did... it rained allll night Saturday and raised the river from 4.5 feet to 14.5 feet...we were heading back to the picnic area on the 209 (first mistake, should of backtracked ) and we had to cross that raging river to get to the 200 (second mistake and biggest mistake). We all made it safe, but it was very dangerous.. I'm making a video on it where I explain more on the story and talk about the dangers of fording rivers..
Yeah…the Sipsey has soooo much water that a good rain can really change the dynamics there. That is why I won’t go there in the summer. The ticks, bugs, and snakes make it a crazy place to be in the summer. Thanks for watching it. Crow✌️

I have passed that tent a few times what’s odd is last time I passed it the fire pit was still warm and I looking inside and there is all sorts of gear in there

just got back from a 2 1/2 hr ride and your hike was the perfect rest break for my knees. another fun trip! also, hats off to your leave-no-trace at your site. we both commented on it when watching. and then you come across that ghost tent which made the point even more. thanks for the laughs crow!
