Digestive issues and food tolerances are surprisingly high among those with c-ptsd or a history of trauma. I can't have gluten at all and don't feel so great after dairy either. Thank you for bringing up this subject. It's really not discussed enough. 80% of seratonin is stored in the gut not the brain making diet a crucial part of our healing. Much love and blessings :) Edit: food intolerances not tolerances I meant to say.
Yea very true . I have noticed this in my own friends and family members. Western diet definitely makes mental health worst. I try to eat fresh veggies and fruit everyday. Too much processed food (although tasty) is so bad for us. Also taking supplements helps. I am currently taking Magnesium Glycinate, Gaba, 5Htp,(in the evening to help me relax) L- theonine and a multi vitamin in the morning.
oh my goodness! wow! I had issues with lactose intolerance my entire life and just recently - at 30 - realized it was actually an issue for me because my mom would rarely take me to the doctor growing up! she would just brush it off. and so I grew up thinking I was overdramatic about my health and now I'm realizing I need to listen to myself and what my body is communicating with me because nobody else knows what I'm truly feeling except me. I am also in an abusive relationship with an addict right now and trying to move on...so I am blown away by this video. thank you for sharing all these thoughts with us! love this video so much! I hope you start feeling so much better soon
Thank you for this! So worth whaching, message beautifully articulated trough metaphor and thought provoking. Verry important. "If you are doing all this (...) and you are still not healing, what is it (relationships, situations, ..) that you are not addressing?"
Yes, physical health is very important in healing! Watching this video, I realised I am neglecting my physical health, as I did no jogging for 8 days. So I went for a 5 minute jog straight after this video and I felt much happier. Then it started raining, so I went home. Physical health definitely seems linked to mental health. Thanks Allisun!
Thanks for the idea. I've been shaking and crying silent tears and barely able to form a coherent thought for about 24 hrs straight. Maybe some sunlight and exercise on one of my sweet looking custom bikes will help slightly.
Thanks for addressing the issue of our health, it tends to get overlooked but makes such a big difference in the quality of our lives! Glad you were able to make the connection beteeen your lactose intolerance- and Pharoah is setting a good example in the background 😁of getting plenty of rest
I keep revisiting fights in my head, and messages she has sent me. Then i guess getting demotivated with how to fix my situation. Abusivs background, now chronically ill with a rare condition, work place treating me like crap, lots of physical pain hardly managing to work and no family support at all
Hello Miss! (I'm sorry I don't know your name yet) This is my second time seeing one of your videos and I found them very interesting and helpful when it comes to meditating or relaxing... This might sound weird but I see you as a friend who I can listen to whenever I don't even know what's wrong with me (I hope you don't mind it) please do not stop making content, your videos can be quite therapeutic to me and I really appreciate it. I hope you're having a great day or night (depends on when you're reading this) and please say healthy and safe 😊💞
Hello!! You are soooo sweet! I'm glad that you feel that way, I'll keep making videos, and will gladly be your virtual BFF. We're in this together. ✨ Also, about not knowing what's wrong with you - remember to take some time each day to reflect on what's right with you, too. 🥰 * Hugs *
I would rule out mast cell activation syndrome just because its not usually the first, second, or third thing doctors look for. I know it can come with a lot of allergies, geographic tongue can be an indicator, and often times food sensitivities come into play too. I don't want it to seem like I'm diagnosing you because I really hope to god you don't have this. Your experience sounds a lot similar to someone else I know, and if you look this up and think it's totally off I know in the end it harms nobody. Worst come to worst you wasted 2 minutes on a google search. I really love your content and I'm so glad that you're choosing to spread your knowledge to the rest of the world. Thanks for another wonderful video. Will be staying tuned... 💕
This is a very important video. I ignore my health issues because of my parents, and it really affects my mood and life
Yes!! I hope you can learn to take better care of your physical body. I'm right here with you learning how to do so right meow. We can do this. 💙

Thank you for sharing this information. I admire you that at such a young age you are so aware.

Sounds like a pile up of bad after effects of trauma. ): I'm sorry, I hope some positive changes can support your life, slowly but surely.
@@ProactiveResilience exactly. Keep up the motivating videos and sharing your experiences...they help persons know that they aren't alone
