Hi, I just found your video because I am currently looking into moving to a different state and getting my very first apartment by myself. I'm in between three cities right now that keep catching my attention, they are Dallas, Atlanta, and Houston and I am currently living in Cali. @@kaylee609 I actually just moved out into my first apartment but I ended up staying in Jersey where I'm from. My biggest tip is the SAVE, SAVE, SAVE. I'm documenting my journey on my channel & I'll be posting a video with advice for moving out soon where I'll go more into detail. I hope this helps 💗

About apartments or general advice?
Let’s say your rent is $1,500 a month. & you get paid twice a month, what is a comfortable safe amount each pay check should be to afford the rent/adulthood? lol I was thinking $3K but idk if that was too unrealistic of an amount.

If you make $2000 a month 50% max should be your rent per month ($1000) @maddiehall

After another year in undergrad but I really love my New York City
I have a question. So, when I was buying a car I needed to have a credit score. But I had to have bills in order to purchase it.
I know you stated that you didn’t have a car, did that effect you being able to get an apartment on your own?
I’m not sure of your question can you clarify?
To get approved for an apartment you have to show pay stubs and they will pull a soft credit inquiry.
My favorite city to live in is ABUJA in NIGERIA, Africa.

i was conditionally approved but i am a bit confused by the terms. does this mean i can move in or does this mean i need to improve said things before moving in.
That means you can call then and give them the money and ask them for a date to move in
