@@K1Prod It's quite impressive isn't it. We all should still be trying to shoot with as low noise as possible, but for those occasional scenes where you can't help it... or when a director says "oh, can you boost this totally dark part of the image" and it turns to noise... well, we have options at least! It works quite well masked as well. So if you are just getting noise in an area you can use it on that too. I find I set it to 90% transparency just so there's still a bit of noise in there to match the rest of the image.

It's really good when you need it. It does hog a lot of computing power though. If you've got a half hour video to denoise, be prepared for a few hours render time on a 16-core Ryzen w/ 64GB RAM + RTX2080.

Hi where can I get NEAT VIDEO for Davinci Resolve 16 and a tutorial to install and apply it in this program. Thank you. Greetings from Bogotá Colombia.

Buy the OFX version and drop it in like any other plugin. Lynda has pretty good Resolve guides. Else google OFX plugins in resolve.

Totally worth it. It is a bit slow to process - so the one thing I wish they had was a global setting you could access to toggle on and off while previewing and edit.

I'm guessing it's a combo of the internal noise reduction + CODEC + temporal noise reduction all mixed together. The Nikon D7100 has it's own denoiser and quite sloppy b-frame handling internally. But yes - would be interesting to use an external recorder via a an HDMI clean out and see if it's still there. Neat isn't always perfect on massive amounts of motion if the temporal reduction is cranked right up!

(but it's better than almost anything else on the market)
