- With the upcoming US/Australia 1986 Tiermaker looming on the horizon, I have decided to return with some uploads previewing this specific tour and my return video features a show that has the best sound quality from the era with the secord Los Angeles 1986. This is a fresh copy of the show which sounds even better than before and really showcases everything that is great about the timeframe.
Bennie And The Jets becomes a real highlight once the solo gets reintroduced (the first on tape being Worcester 9/6) and by this point in the tour, the band are a well-oiled machine when it comes to nailing this arrangement. Elton's vocals sound rough but his piano work is exemplary, especially the solo that contains references to many other songs and has some incredible sections that make it a whirlwind ride!
