Tourist snorkelling trips are often that way. Pro tip, even if you're not a diver, check with dive companies if you can accompany them for their day-trips to places like Coiba. Guaranteed a group of people who are aware of distressed diver/snorkeller situations and there is guaranteed to be at least one person with first aid training on board. And dive crews are adept at helping tired divers into boats - snorkellers are a breeze for them!
Also, would it be possible to tweak the sound a little as it can be tricky to hear your lovely calming voice. Thanks Patty for showing us your adventures. I loved Coiba, but my experience was very different to yours.
That’s a great idea! My next snorkel spot is Bocas - so I’ll look into that option, thank you. Sorry about the sound, I didn’t have my mic for some of it, I raised the level but not high enough 😕 Did you dive at Coiba?
@@Pattybluehayes yes, we're divers, but often divers bring their non dive partners for a snorkel trip. Good lunch, lots of marine life knowledge and usually a great bunch of people on dive boats. In Bocas the visibility can be on and off, but La Buga dive centre is really nice. Go have a chat with them.

Hi Patty! Thanks for sharing this video. Can you do a video where you discuss how you got into house/pet sitting. What are things you should know if you want to do this in Panama. Also What is the rate in Panama for dog and house sitting. I’ve been wondering how much it will cost to have someone watch our dog/house when we move there.
Generally, it’s an exchange - the house/pet sitter stays in exchange for living in your home. If it’s a short trip or over a holiday, or if you have multiple animals, a pet sitter may charge a fee.
I did 2 videos (but they are kind of bad) on housesitting. It was a livestream attempt 😫

Do you think all the plastic and stuff is from the cruse ships? I noticed when I was in Panama City a few years back the beaches and water front were the same. I would like to think it's not the Panamanians trashing their beaches.
Unfortunately, many locals litter. Some of it is a lack of education and also a way of thinking. I’ve seen people throw trash bags out car windows, leave bottles and cans on beaches and of course, there are masks all over the place now 😕 But hopefully that will change. This was in a small town, no cruise ships in the area.
Seems like those guys are just in it for the money, customer satisfaction is not important to them.
I got the owner's email, sending him one about safety concerns.
All they care about is 💵
It was $80, for that, I’d expect fins that fit and a dang ladder on the snorkel boat 🙄
