I hope you'll do more vids on BES4. Basic stuff like: finding (on the USB stick) the Manual, PRINTING the manual -- so far it won't let me. The options you demo'd look really fun. Will rewatch vid. Collage is nifty but I'm struggling with rearranging words, etc. The manual would be a huge help! Thanks

Love your video. It's very easy to follow. One question if you don't mind...when my mouse hovers over the font name on the drop-down font list, I don't get a preview of the font. What am I doing wrong?

I have Simply Appliqué. I think Becky Thompson has said u can do these things in there too? Can I do all the things u’ve shown above? U do a GREAT job explaining everything! ❤
Some things overlap between BES4 and simply Applique but the latter shines for Applique and does not have all the same features as BES4 and visa versa.
I have the Basic BES4 software. When creating a design is there a way to snap to grid. I am creating squares, diagonals and lines.
If you go to "Preferences" you will find that you can adjust the grid spacing etc., but there does not seem to be a way to "snap to grid". My guess is that this is limited since BES4 is not a full digitizing program.

Great instructional video. How would you print the "cut file" for applique, so you could cut by hand, if you don't have a cutting machine?
There is a print command in the menu.
You may need to delete everything but the line that shows the shape and then print just that part of the design.

Best way to used the mouse to zoom in is to Click and Drag. Click and keep holding the mouse button down and then drag a "box" around the part you want to see,
When you let go of the mouse button it will zoom to see that specific area.

Nice Video! I was hoping for a little help in editing existing files. I wanted to be able to change the text size in a file I use routinely. I cant find the ungroup icon/function. Any help would be amazing... Thanks

Yes, the BES4 software works with most every embroidery machine model and brand. It is fun and easy to use no matter if you have a simple embroidery machine, a top of the line embroidery machine or even multi needle machine you are using for a home business.
How can I get my properties box to re appear?
Open BES4
Open “new” screen
Click on view
To right of “welcome” icon make sure there is a check in the box to the left of “properties”
