    that hole you drilled for your double torque arm on the left side, is going to cause weld to crack with any aggressive riding, because you drilled right through the edge of the weld. should have made a template out of cardboard for factory holes and had a cnc shop cut a bracket that is one piece that bolts in two places. doing it the way you did with two pieces the bolt that connects the two is a additional point of failure.

      Also, i notice your bike is running mechanical brakes on rear and hydraulic calipers on front?, can you please make a recommendation on these?

    • @e-streetbikes6381
      @e-streetbikes6381  Рік тому

      The mechanical brakes that come with the kit are actually pretty strong and are compatible with the rear lights from the light kit. The hydraulic were the ones that JB already had on.

    Just wanted to thank Sal. I visited him today and test drove the bomber he currently sells. He took his time in explaining the bike and its potential to me. He really knows his S@#$! After " detuning " the bike to a more manageable level i still thought it was too much power for me . Too much that i renamed it " the widowmaker " if you have ever been on a jet ( commercial) you will experience take off power from 30mph on ! Make sure you grow big ones before mounting one of Sals bikes. Definitely recommend and look forward to doing business with him in any capacity i can. Thank you Sal!

    Question on this tire, could you make it tubless? I'm somewhat newer to ebikes. I'm already looking at a moped or motorcycle tire instead of ebike tires. I'm hearing mixed feelings regarding tubless or tube. What is your feelings on the subject? Thanks for the video and info, new to your channel.

    Hey fellas! Fellow NJ guy here (passaic county) I recently bought a kepler 52v, and just the other day was hit by a car(no worries, just bumps and bruises). When his insurance gives me a new bike, id like to make it dual motor. Maybe you guys can make a video on something like that, or i'll drop mine off and you can do it, film it, and hook up the kepler crowd😊 my goal was to use the same components from the broken bike (battery, controller etc. I also have 2nd battery, so id like to hook up all 3 if possible. TIA!

    Use should use some oil while drilling into metal, your bits will last longer..And use a grinder with metal cutting wheels for cutting metal, and a grinder with 80 grit pads that are made for grinding welds, for getting rid of the sharp edges, on your torque arm bracket, and a variety of other tasks....Taps work better for adding threads to your metal, but again use the appropriate oil, with the same in and out patient technique...Grinders are cheap, a tap or tap set is cheap, oil is cheap..I believe it's called a backing pad, that you buy for your grinder, that enables the 80 grit disc to sit flat so that you can grind sharp corners round..You might know all of that, but the people who want to upgrade their bikes don't...

    What is the alarm that locks the wheel as you mentioned?

    • @e-streetbikes6381
      @e-streetbikes6381  Рік тому +1

      It actually comes with the motor kit as an add-on. Plugs right into the controller and locks the motor so no one can run off with it. Comes with a key fob so you can activate it.

    i dont know where to ask this question at so Im going to ask here because this has to do with speed.I have a Motor Goat ebike coming in April.I ordered the second battery as well.They say the Bike can go around 40-45mph.I was wondering if there was any easy modifications I could make to go over 50mph.

    Did you put some water sealant on the holes? Does drilling holes on the frame compromised the integrity of the frame?

    • @e-streetbikes6381
      @e-streetbikes6381  Рік тому

      The frame has been pretty solid even after 3 years of usage and still the same holes.

      As per JB 360 and his GPS results, 71 mph. On steep hills, it hits 55mph no problem. Check out JB's video
