Just wanted to thank Sal. I visited him today and test drove the bomber he currently sells. He took his time in explaining the bike and its potential to me. He really knows his S@#$! After " detuning " the bike to a more manageable level i still thought it was too much power for me . Too much that i renamed it " the widowmaker " if you have ever been on a jet ( commercial) you will experience take off power from 30mph on ! Make sure you grow big ones before mounting one of Sals bikes. Definitely recommend and look forward to doing business with him in any capacity i can. Thank you Sal!
Anytime my dude!
tHIS YOUNG DUDE GOT SKILLZ MAKING THESE BIKES AND HE MAKING ALL HIS SET UPS WITH SAFETY IN MIND FIRST , YEAH SAL IM WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS SO I CAN DO THIS MYSELF , I AINT TRYING TO BE A BUILDER BUT WHEN SOMETHING GO WRONG WITH MY BIKES I WANT TO BE ABLE TO FIX THEM MYSELF. , E STREET BIKES SAL GOT MAD SKILLZ
Awesome video with some great info!!! You guys make it look so easy!!! LOOKS FRESH/STRONG!!! 😍🤩🔥🔥🔥💪💪👍👍Looking forward to my beast!!!
that hole you drilled for your double torque arm on the left side, is going to cause weld to crack with any aggressive riding, because you drilled right through the edge of the weld. should have made a template out of cardboard for factory holes and had a cnc shop cut a bracket that is one piece that bolts in two places. doing it the way you did with two pieces the bolt that connects the two is a additional point of failure.
Hell yeah, just the video i need and thank you for giving us a refresh. Hard at work, appreciate you guys going through the trials. Your hard work grinding is noticed!
JB360 looking forward to see how she rides with her new shoes and power!
Also, i notice your bike is running mechanical brakes on rear and hydraulic calipers on front?, can you please make a recommendation on these?
The mechanical brakes that come with the kit are actually pretty strong and are compatible with the rear lights from the light kit. The hydraulic were the ones that JB already had on.
Interesting stuff. And I really like those front turn signals.
I’m not even sure why I watched this whole video but you taught me a lot .. appreciate the video
Let’s see someone riding on it 🔥
Use should use some oil while drilling into metal, your bits will last longer..And use a grinder with metal cutting wheels for cutting metal, and a grinder with 80 grit pads that are made for grinding welds, for getting rid of the sharp edges, on your torque arm bracket, and a variety of other tasks....Taps work better for adding threads to your metal, but again use the appropriate oil, with the same in and out patient technique...Grinders are cheap, a tap or tap set is cheap, oil is cheap..I believe it's called a backing pad, that you buy for your grinder, that enables the 80 grit disc to sit flat so that you can grind sharp corners round..You might know all of that, but the people who want to upgrade their bikes don't...
Hey guy’s awesome build great job Sal it looks great really like . Thanks for the video.
And...
It goes how fast on the flats?🤓
And...
How fast up a long moderate grade?😎
As per JB 360 and his GPS results, 71 mph. On steep hills, it hits 55mph no problem. Check out JB's video

OK I need some links for the additional parts ... Headlight, Stem Turn signals, Mirrors, Seat please
Awesome video
Great and awesome work my guy man I wish I could do that with x class 52v step thru version. I want do everything you did in the have better tires mirrors etc bigger battery and hub motor 5k oooh weee I've been flying up and down
You should do a search for 3d printed cable management they have some great looking cable covers that would really dress out your build
Hey fellas! Fellow NJ guy here (passaic county) I recently bought a kepler 52v, and just the other day was hit by a car(no worries, just bumps and bruises). When his insurance gives me a new bike, id like to make it dual motor. Maybe you guys can make a video on something like that, or i'll drop mine off and you can do it, film it, and hook up the kepler crowd😊 my goal was to use the same components from the broken bike (battery, controller etc. I also have 2nd battery, so id like to hook up all 3 if possible. TIA!
Question on this tire, could you make it tubless? I'm somewhat newer to ebikes. I'm already looking at a moped or motorcycle tire instead of ebike tires. I'm hearing mixed feelings regarding tubless or tube. What is your feelings on the subject? Thanks for the video and info, new to your channel.
Make sure to pump a lil bit of air in the tube so u dont pinch it with tool
Really need these tires in 26" x4
Sal
I have been watching you and JB360 posts for a minute now. I'm trying to get me an upgrade to my Grizzly . I reside in Brooklyn.
Did you put some water sealant on the holes? Does drilling holes on the frame compromised the integrity of the frame?
The frame has been pretty solid even after 3 years of usage and still the same holes.
Hey can I get a list of all the parts put in. I got a x class and like the dual batteries and display. Looking to do all but the color scheme.
That a darkside snowboard shop sweater from VT ?
Where did you get the frame battery cover from???
i dont know where to ask this question at so Im going to ask here because this has to do with speed.I have a Motor Goat ebike coming in April.I ordered the second battery as well. They say the Bike can go around 40-45mph.I was wondering if there was any easy modifications I could make to go over 50mph.
Tires not linked in the description? Also what inner tube do you recommend?
Sorry about that here's the link Kenda K671 Cruiser ST Front Tire... www.amazon.com/dp/B00FMW7CCU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
In terms of inner tube, any 20 x 4 tube will be good.
Sal, how would you feel about building a raw frame full suspension e-BMX bike?
I have a almost $2k donor 2020 Sunday EX that i want to electrify it, & have a pretty good idea of a suspension system for it, i an good at ideas, i need mad scientists like you to bring them to life! 😆
That would be pretty sweet! I've never worked on a BMX frame before but it can definitely be done.
I would like to see a motorcycle tire that fits a 26x4 inch 😎
Could you share where you found the tire change stand?
I actually got it as a gift but they sell them on Amazon:

please make discord community or something. Finally another ebike enthusiast who knows what they are talking abou.t
Ever any issues with wheels being radial laced?
Not any issues so far. I usually tell people to just check the spokes occasionally or maybe after a long ride.
What is the alarm that locks the wheel as you mentioned?
It actually comes with the motor kit as an add-on. Plugs right into the controller and locks the motor so no one can run off with it. Comes with a key fob so you can activate it.
How do you prevent dirt and moisture from hitting the leads on the sabvoton?
Use a combination of waterproof wire covers and mesh
What is a "Hull Test?" Can you explain please
How do you charge to upgrade grizzly e-bike
Did you guys leave the stock controller in or remove?
Everything stock has been completely removed except the frame
Kept the stock brakes , are those enough to stop that beast?
No…they are a death trap bro
Sal, is there a way I can contact you for a similar build for my step-thru?
Where is he located?
Would this work on the grizzly
Yes it would
Hey bro tryna figure out more info on your 72v 2000w sabvoton controller kit hit me back
Hey sorry give me a call when you get a chance +1 732-258-6808
Did you tap the holes????
Yes I did 👍
Nasty
I email u about build my bike
Not changing the brakes and going 70 is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen
Brakes have been upgraded since to 4 piston
Your bike seemed perfect before...
JB I think is done with upgrades lol
Dude, you guys should use flat out instead of slime. There’s even a video comparing the two and flat out works way better.
Thanks for the informative video brotha!
