Thank you for this review - very helpful! Should have checked before ordering a new pair of shoes. My struggle with the next gen was not that it did not fit. I was in pain every time I used it for floorball or indoor football - as you point out, I felt the footbed is too rigid with a lack in damping. Used to play handball for 30+ years, went through more or less the entire range of stabil's, but now trying the Puma Vantage. They look more like the good old stabil's. After having seen your review, the Stabil 16 seems the step back in the right direction for adidas.
