Cooking at home is a must!
    Grilled chicken
    Beef
    Shrimp
    Grilled salmon
    Broccoli/veggies
    Mushrooms
    Sweet potatoes
    Avocados
    Eggs
    Sweet peppers
    Fruits
    No fast food!
See a nutritionist to help you out.
Make the time to go grocery shopping.
You should be eating at least 3 times a day. You need to find out how many calories you need to take in per day - proteins, carbs, fat.
Make food that will last through the week, so you take the pressure from having to cook every day.
Drink water, of course, to stay hydrated and flush out that fat.
    Excellent success! You got this!💪🏾

Eating three times a day isn't ideal. He should at most have two meals a day. The less the body has to digest the easier the weight will fall off. Also FASTING is very beneficial, we overeat too much in this country. Juice fasting and fruit fasting is the fastest way too lose weight and change the eating habits. Eating less often is the key to weight loss and control the mental aspects of eating. Our bodies do not need that much food when we eat nutrient dense foods. Also cut back on meat consumption. Eating is more mental than physical. He should also find healthier restaurants to review for his food review business.

You can eat whatever you want as long as you walk everyday. Everything in moderation, a bite here and there, you don’t have to eat it all. I lost 100 pounds doing this and kept 80 off. Your goal is to be healthy, don’t worry about the weight and you want to release it, because you can find things you lose. 🙏🏾

@@the_shadow_healer like I said, I LOST 100 pounds, eating whatever I wanted, everything in moderation. You can taste things to rid yourself of the craving. I am speaking from experience and I am healthy, no sickness or disease in my body and I lost it naturally by walking/hiking daily. Now are there things that I do not eat, absolutely, I have eaten enough of them but we should not deprive ourselves of those things.
”Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.“

@@QueenLadySummer329awesome. If I had hiking grounds nearby where I live, I would do it everyday. But I do have a nice area for walking but too be honest that’s not really intense, I would really like to be able to hike uphill and stuff. Oh well. I’ve changed my portions to small and I have limited my sugar intake too. You’re absolutely right, we humans can eat anything we want but we gotta stick to the correct portion size, too often we go overboard with it and it one pack of a certain snack, when it’s in facts multiple portions, so eating multiple portions in one time. Very bad.

I had friends who had the surgery and some of them died, some of them had to keep going back for this and that and can barely eat anything and some gained the weight back and just kept going.

Second, know that you can do it. You, my friend, can do anything you put your mind to. You quit your corporate job because you put your mind to it. You can get your body tight/right because you put your mind to it. You deserve to do this for yourself. You are an inspiration to others on so many levels. Stay focused on your fitness mission, stay grounded and stay on your grind. You Got This! 😊

A really good cardio regimen and staying on top of your nutritional game (i.e. consuming lots of fresh fruit 🍓🍑 🍎🍏 🍇 🍉 🍊 🫐 etc. and fresh dark green salads 🥗 will be KEY to your success). Your trainer is correct in that this is a journey -- it's a marathon NOT a sprint -- so pace yourself. And also dedicate (quality time) towards shopping for the proper foods. Foods that you purchase should be able to be consumed more than one time during the course of a day. This will cut down on spoilage and get your palate use to eating healthy foods. At a certain point, reassess everything and EVERYBODY. Your reassessment should be honest. If you feel like changes need to be made, don't be afraid to make them. But of the UTMOST of importance... DON'T QUIT! STAY THE COURSE. YOU CAN AND YOU WILL DO THIS!!!
We're with you fam. God is with you.

I alsoI keep the Oikos Go yogurts cups with 20g of protein in the fridge as well. Those are easy no cook sweet snacks I can have that are high in protein and curb my cravings. For late night craving i like to have a hot cup of tea, having different flavors makes it fun to choose which flavor I’ll have for the night. Hope this helps.

@@dandychiggins6802 DAMN! For some people, health is more important than 💰 You sound like a doubting Thomas. If you want to see the brother fail, just say that (but keep that 💩 to yourself). He can definitely be a foodie that takes fitness seriously!!! How about you try encouraging him to accomplish both.

I respect you for displaying the weak moments, it's a journey. Actually healthy food is not as boring as you think homie. Find your niche and see those results that you would never come back to the old school ways.

Tbh bruh a lot of folks in LA are blessed to have home cooked meals. I challenge you to round up a couple of friends and get some insight on how to whip up some easy recipes. It doesn’t have to take long either but that fast food gonna set you back every time. Give yourself some flavor and enticing foods but that also healthy and your fitness goal will be much easier. You got it mane!

The struggle was real! Hopefully, it's easier for you now. It's hard to be disciplined. Lettuce wraps are a great option, veggie meals from Jamaican restaurants are flavorful, Burrito bowls without the sour cream, and extras are still good. I'm happy you are on the journey with your cousin.

You got this! Getting back on the horse myself. Protein and good saturated fats are not the enemy, sugar and carbs are. Without saturated fats your testosterone will drop which kills your muscle recovery, sleep, and control of all your other hormones. Eat real foods and focus on protein and veggies. Carbs in the morning, good saturated fat at night to boost your T and recovery. Learning your way around nutrition will do more for you than a workout will. Pretty tough to do with your job, that's where the exercise becomes very necessary. Keep up the good fight, stay disciplined, and you better learn to make friends with being hungry. Quit eating that subway shit and quit eating that bread. Subway is nothing but manufactured preservatives and garbage
