Ultra cheap wines, like ultra cheap bourbon, are just concentrated hangover....
I don't wanna be THAT guy but... Mordor is the geographic area, Orodruin (Mount Doom) is the name of the peak. So, you know. Please be sure to cater to my very specific nerd interests at all time.
My wife's father sent us one of those mail order case of wine subscriptions. I'm pretty sure this was one of the included wines. That was last month. I still have a headache.

I've had a LOT of wine over the past 30 years, but I've never been able to describe it as sour, bitter, and metallic. This must truly be some horrible stuff. Two Buck Chuck isn't that bad for the same price, and I've had a lot of that. Here in Italy, $1/liter wine can be pretty nice even.

The next evolution of $5 Treasures: "Bottom of the Barrel". PV3 reviews only the absurdly cheap stuff-like this mythical $1.59 for a 750ml bottle of wine. I guess you'd have to set some kind of minimum for recommendations; use a ratio of price per %alcohol or something?

I think teenagers used to mix it with sugar and orange juice. That was when I was teen an it was just couple dollars a bottle. Cheap buzz.

i say you mix malort and pacific peak so the bitterness and sweetness will cancel each other out.
Theories as to how this was so bad. My guess is that it was actually just fermented sugar water that had artificial grape flavoring added.

You should try Trader Joe's $4 wine. It's actual wine and pretty good!
