Thanks folks for watching us. Band name is The Japanese Bluegrass Band. Masuo Sasabe / guitar Katsu Miyazaki / mandolin Satoshi Yoshida / banjo Tatsuya Imai / bass
First time I heard Japanese bluegrass but it was great.....awesome banjo, mandolin, bass ,guitar and the vocals were outstanding. Thanks for sharing the music...................Yee hawwww.
I grew up playing bluegrass with my grandpa, singing along, clogging along- you have no idea how it makes this heart swell to see bluegrass music hopped the pond :) Long live BLUEGRASS!!
Wow .. really good stuff. (as a picker.. I can tell you that most of us HATE it when the audience claps.. They mean well, but can't stay on top of the beat!) Great mandolin .. perfect chop and picking. Bass is very tastefully done, as well as a great roll on the banjo. Guitar solo is right on it.. and the Harmony is OUTstanding!
Two questions: 1) what make of guitar . . Martin? 2) Did you guys learn from Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt? You and that group from Czech republic have even improved this selection from Scruggs and Flatt, but maybe not the original feeling. Still, bravo!! The world is all of a sudden a village for sure. Thanks for posting, and keep on pickin' . . . and grinnin'. Bob from London, Canada.
this is great.to bad all the clapping.i think we could have really apppreciated it more if we would have heard it 100 percent clear.but this really goood.nice mando solo.
I see what your saying but they're actually not that bad, yeah local bands around where I live sound better but they're actually not that bad, especially playing wise.
DubiousDrewski They don't know one claps on the up beat to coincide with the boom chick beat of bluegrass music. Excellent article on explaining the uniqueness of Bluegrass music and the interaction of the musicians, creating a tight polished sound.www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/bluegrass-songbook/bgjam.htm
This audience is doing just fine, Drewski. I play this music. I have played it over 60 years. This is a fine band AND a fine audience. Loosen up. The whole idea is to have the people enjoy themselves. They DID.

いいねえ。ベテランの味という感じ。
@bsontrop From what I can tell the Guitar looks to be a "Blueridge", or a "Morgan Monroe".
Does anyone know how one is able to buy their music?
could do with less clapping but very good! good bluegrass voice especially
Hot dayum. Our little yellow flins from the far East can wail.
When she says she likes white guys
Well,...Korean's are mountain people........This is a testament to how music is a universal language
Me court you rong time.
that clapping is so loud it sounds like someone is constantly shooting off a .22 in the audience
That’s exactly what it was,
Take those people clapping and tie their hand together.
Or just teach them to clap on the damn downbeat. lol
this is great.to bad all the clapping.i think we could have really apppreciated it more if we would have heard it 100 percent clear.but this really goood.nice mando solo.
リードボーカル・ギターが笹部益生さん、マンドリンは宮崎勝之さんですね。名前出されたらいいのに!

Clapping Koreans hehehe
Would like to hear it without all the clap-a-along. Sheesh.

It's sad that Japanese are starting to sound better than those born with this sound their whole life!!!
practice more!!
why is that sad?
We have lost that which made our culture unique. That sound came out the of the Appalacian Mountains. Now it is dying.@@casperkasparov302
