I actually really like this build for a guy, not many clothes, very little shower/bathroom but plenty of room to sit chill and entertain. I love that it's a little longer than the other vans, you did great.

Great van. I would like to know more about where he parks. Where he finds water. Where he dumps. AND most importantly, how he has enough power (electricity) to power all his electrical gadgets .
There's really good apps for van lifers / nomads that show you best places in your area to park, find water, responsibly dump, etc.. I've had no problem so far and I've driven cross country from california to nyc! As for power, solar does it all! But I also have a battery to battery charger that charges my battery as I drive from my car's alternator!
Terrible idea for a bathroom.. 170” wheelbase and you shoehorn that little bathroom in there, poor design. Can’t move, and you have to use hand soap from the kitchen sink??

@@kedarpujara well it’s too late now that you are built. I would have done a master plan, and laid it out on paper. A wet bath is best option..I would have considered a full 36”x 36” fiberglass shower from Lowe’s or Home Depot. All one piece, no leaking..plumb the water lines and use a gray tank for shower drain. 10-15 rectangle tank is plenty big and easy to mount due to its size. I’ve seen people who drain shower to ground too, because they chose to use biodegradable soap. Research is everything first…

It looks like the bedding could actually be a small twin size. So do you always make the complete bed every night or do you often just sleep on the single? Is the single wide enough for you to sleep on I guess that’s what I’m asking. I love your layout I’m designing one myself

Great job on the van my friend I'm inspired by DIY made I love what you did to the shower where it's multitax task I should say this way you can use it for other things most fans will have a shower that space is wasted if you don't have a shower or if you're not going to have a shower often then you have wasted space so you have your shower we can use for other things as well which is awesome great job my friend..

It’s a tough decision to make for a space you only used a fraction of the day. In this particular location, there is a gym and bathrooms right around the corner
Mike next question is why do you live out to your van is it because you can't pay the rent or you choose to do it because you want to find a simpler alternative minimalistic way of living and to save money let me know I am curious to know..
As a New Yorker now living in Jersey I feel I can speak for most in saying we are always looking for ways of surviving the high cost of New York living. Cutting your over head living expenses is major. The housing market here is not nice no matter what your income is🫤.
