I wish everyone could be as accepting and kind as you, Ryan. You dont seem to see the differences in people that make others hate. It’s sad and insane, but seeing really good people like you in action gives me hope for the future. Thanks, Ryan, and good luck❤
Dude - we come for the van ventures, but stay for your kindness. I don't comment much, but to see examples of kindness and acceptance like yours is a ray of sunshine in a world as cloudy as today's. Thanks!
THAT GUY YOU MET HAS BEEN IN THE COUNTRY LESS THAN A YEAR AND MAKING IT AT ALL COSTS. MUCH RESPECT FOR HIM AND RYAN YOU WERE AS ALWAYS KIND TO A STRANGER, RESPECT THAT AS WELL. IT'S EASY TO TAKE FOR GRANTED THAT WE LIVE IN A PRETTY AWESOME COUNTRY SEEING THAT GUY IS A GOOD REMINDER.
Our country isn't that great. I feel like if it was then people would be able to afford a decent home instead of living on the street. That awesome guy is making it work in this cold world!
It's relieving to see a dude who has his heart on his sleeve and is so at ease in these wild times. Your videos are great relaxation and insight into the basics of humanity, thanks for them. Keep it up! Jirka, Czechia
NYC is my town and it’s good to see you around in it. 😍😍 And not for nothing, YOU are a LOVELY young man. Making and sharing that steak was so sweet. Your kindness and generosity is beautiful and we need a million more people just like you in this world. 😍😍😍⭐️❤️❤️
This has been one of my favorite videos of yours. It was really cool to see a businessman in business attire, fly fishing. Actually, it made me both happy and sad. Happy because he was able to escape and do something he loves, yet sad because his friends and coworkers are most likely very different then most fly anglers. That's a lonely place to be.
Nice to enjoy a morning coffee outside. Minus the bugs. Great travels as always showing parts of New York that some may never experience. Van alley hopefully means safety also in the city. Your energy to explore and treat all you meet with dignity is amazing.
This was literally my favorite episode by far. Especially since i live in nyc, and to see the goodness in you really makes your channel even more enjoyable to watch, thanks
For being in New York, van street looks really clean and looks like the locals really appreciated a safe place to dwell. Probably safer than most places… God bless you all and good video Ryan 👍👍
The guy that build a small box into a home is probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Dude even had a little window and a chair posted it up outside of it. God bless him👏🏾
I stealth camped for a week on the west side of Manhattan last month (October) for the New York Comicon. Unlike Van Alley, on the regular streets one has to move your vehicle every few days because they send street cleaning machines through accompanied by teams of parking ticket people. Interesting to see all the people moving their cars out and back as that parade goes through. I had actually planned to visit Van Alley also, since I had seen videos of it previously, but never made it over there. I had a great time, except my e-Bike got a flat tire and so I tried the blue Citi Bike system, but that only allows you to use a bike for 30-minutes or they charge extra (even if there are no open working bike spaces at your destination). But I had fun traveling around the city. It turns out that one can get into the American Natural History Museum for free in the final hour it is open. After that I crossed over to Central Park and I came across a live music vigil or remembrance gathering for John Lennon at the Strawberry Fields section of the park. Leaving in New York traffic was awful, I could have gotten out and walked faster.
Your true caring side of your personality shines so bright in this video cooking for someone you just met!!! I applaud you so loudly !! Thanks for sharing !! ❤❤❤
Hey Ryan! Back commenting again. Inspired, as always, by your kindness and would love to help you pay it forward. Donated £100 and would love to see it given out to someone like Akin (sorry if I misspelt his name) on your travels. Big love fam x
What an awesome heart you have Ryan. You are so kind. These people don't have a placxe to live and someone reaching out to them is so awesome. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your videos. God Bless you and Stay in touch.
D van alley must b a safe parking spot. D guy has a barbecue grill outside n some hang out sofas n nobody seems to b stealing them or vandalizing. There must b a community spirit in that alley where they look out for each other. Much respect to these dwellers for keeping d area clean n safe
This was one of my favorite videos of yours, I don’t mean that in a bad way because I enjoy all of them. I really like the urban exploring part of van life so this video was fun. It was super awesome how you met that guy, it sounds like he’s got a great story. I’m sure you had a good conversation. Safe travels
Seneca Village was a 19th-century settlement of mostly African American landowners in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, within what would become present-day Central Park
At the beginning of your video I was thinking how kind your are by showing us out-of-towners what the sights are in America and I get a bit further in and you kindly shared your dinner with a stranger after cooking it and everything. You are a great guy Ryan. XX and thank you for recording your weekly videos.
I came upon your channel a few days ago and have been binge watch in your videos I decided to subscribe today when you saw that gentleman as a human being and treated him with kindness and respect and broke bread with him. Best wishes to you and I look forward to continuing to watch your videos.
I never saw your videos before, just found this one while watching late night, It's so cool t hat you live in a van! I owned a Dodge custom van back in the 80's. My kids and I used to take it camping. Stay cool and watch out for the sleazy characters out there. I'll be looking for you in the future - and will definitely subscribe!

I’ve never been to New York City so it was fun to see it through your eyes. Thanks for a different take on the city than I usually see in videos, movies, etc.
Love your videos! You make New York look fun. For some reason, you always look so at home and comfortable no matter where you are. I wish I was like that! Also love your warm welcoming nature!
Gosh that van has got to be so cozy. Id be in a snuggle-in-bed mood all day every day lol. Theres just something about a mobile home you can bring anywhere and the compactness that makes it seem so cozy
You're amazing, that's why people love you and follow you, been enjoying the ride all along ,awesome life experience for you that you are sharing with us , cheers 🍻
God bless America we are so lucky to live in a land that u can welcome someone and show so much kindness. God bless ur little pea pickin heart. As a mom ur about the same age as my son and he is kind like you ur moma has got to be so proud. 😊
I love your cooking on your channel. In fact, I have never cooked a good steak for my family until I did it your way. The butter, garlic and braising then baking in the oven truly got the juiciest steaks ever. I actually got compliments from the family. I told them "Ryan Twomey taught me." Love your channel.
NYC is one of the big reasons i want a van, i want to live there for at least a month. Im vary much a nature guy but NYC is the only city I really want to experience
Man you got to incorporate some more doggo content when you're with the pups. they're awesome. Would love to see you adopt a doggo for when you go on the road.
I think what intrigues me is the fact you have freedom and also make money doing something you love. Yea the lonely videos seem boring but I feel like everyone should experience being alone and learn to be happy during those times. Love the videos hope this ride doesn’t end anytime soon
Jus watched my first video of yours Ryan and had to subscribe and look forward to watching more videos. I appreciate how kind and outgoing you are and prolly made that man from Turkey feel good about America and both gained a good story and experience to tell. Keep on with the good work and content and keeping a good heart.
Cheers Sir! Awesome of you to treat your neighbor to dinner and to show him the respect that you did. Also support your new small business initiative. 👍🏽 Good on you!

Agreed! Everyone should be this way with their neighbor 😢
💯
A True gentleman.
So nice to see you interact with your neighbour, and sharing good food! 👍 this restored his faith in humanity 🙏
I wish everyone could be as accepting and kind as you, Ryan. You dont seem to see the differences in people that make others hate. It’s sad and insane, but seeing really good people like you in action gives me hope for the future. Thanks, Ryan, and good luck❤
So true, I really enjoy him. I've been watching for a little while now, and he brings me joy when I'm sad
Bet you are are a flaming liberal that sanitizes your hands every time you touch people who “look” different than you.
I agree, Ryan is the best. Currently, I'm unhoused and am looking for a temporary place to stay. Maybe you could help me out?
Agreed
It's called being on the spectrum

And if it was the truth, not only that but also brought a 4k dollar scooter plus built his own lil house.

This man made his own home on wheels. I respect a man that can adapt and make logical decisions. It is safer than shelters or paying the high rents.

YOU DID RIGHT RYAN! Be safe and keep the episodes coming.
