Hearing Ryuichi Sakamoto's music at the beginning of this video makes me wish they would've had him to write the soundtrack, or at the very least curate tracks for an OST. I'm guessing it had to have been a budget issue. It's also kind of funny that without 'Sands of TIme' (3.5 out of 10) we would never have had Chungking Express (10000000 out of 10)

Films Extras they filmed in Chungking Mansions in Kowloon, then they relocate to the Island to Soho where the shop from the second part of Chungking Express was located + Chris' apartment.
