The Braves pitching shutouts so far this season is remarkable considering some of the pitching that got traded away and the pitching they got in return in the offseason and Strider being out for the rest of this season...the Braves problem is just getting the offense going and being consistent...they're just out of sync and flat at times. Riley and Murphy coming back will also help a lot. AJ pitched awesome and we can only hope he can keep that up...the future looks bright for him and the Braves if he can.
When it comes from the braves roster my biggest worried is Acuña he's just struggling big time right now. Had a horrible Cubs series. I think Acuña right now is all metal. It's on he's head ! He's putting to much pressure on himself. I wonder does he have outside of the field issues, something going on with the fam. I don't know. But what ever is going on is definitely mental.
I doubt with his type of performance (and the Braves lack of starting pitching) that they would want him gone for two weeks. Most likely precautionary. But I understand the thought.
That changeup is going to eat. It's going to dine on MLB hitters. And, yeah, put me into the camp of 'fake injury'. AA is saving him for later I think. If Strider hadn't gone down, it might be different, but here we are.
All these moves of bringing players up and sending them down makes no sense. I guess all teams do it, maybe. It looks to me they are using up their options, sometimes they stay up 2 days and never pitch.

@@BravesOnDeck I don't know exactly how the options work. Maybe if someone goes on the injury list it doesn't count as an option. Then when he rehabs and comes back up, it isn't an option. They were going to need a starter for Friday and was going to have to call someone up.

AJSS was impressive. Murphy should be a boost to the lineup once he's healthy as well as Riley. Thanks Tyler for the updates. GO BRAVES !!
He did a good job yesterday can’t wait until Sean and Austin come back to the team

I watched his dabue in person last season
Do you think he actually got injured yesterday or did Atlanta just say he did so Kerr could be recalled

So what do you think we do now with Ronald out for season, again? We made moves last time that got us a World Series.
I'll be getting my thoughts together, most likely speaking on this Wednesday.
Was he really injured? Or is it just a way to manipulate the system?
