Mr. Horrow, as an Ohio native and a HUGE fan of Pete Rose since the days of my youth, (ten years old) I REALLY appreciated the time you took to talk baseball with him. Sadly, baseball lost its BIGGEST supporter on 30 September 2024. I've also enjoyed the times you have been on with Scott Ferrall. Thanks again!
Probably higher... _'today's pitchers'_ can hardly get through an inning and are considered the ace of the staff if they manage to face a batting line-up one and half times in a single game with some success. Even throwing 20 fresh arms at the guy each clown with his own repertoire or specialty would in the end prove counterproductive against an intelligent batter/hitter
What a legend

@@tommyriam8320 Add to that with the enlarged bases, Pete could have probably had more steals and the chance to gain more doubles and triples.
Should be in the HALL OF FAME.
