Hello Gothik Serpent. I have been a record collector for almost 50 years now. I have almost everything by Porcupine Tree now. I want you all to know that I am hooked on the way you did "The Incident" Each of you is very talented. Believe it or not, I have watched this cover of "The Incident" 8 times. This is my 9th time. I have also been loving the special effects which are fantastic. I will start to collect Gothik Serpent albums soon. However, since I am a major collector I will only buy my favorite albums by my favorite artist by Gothik Serpent. In other words, I will be buying any and all Porcupine Tree stuff you all make and any groups I currently collect. I love KERWIN TSANG and his voice and the way he plays a lot. I am also impressed with Chapman Sticks' bass playing. I also really like Olivia Kong female vocals on The Incident. Without Olivia Kong things would be very different. I can tell over time she will become better and better with her excellent voice. Also, What a great job to Tau Bower. I must listen to "INTERLOPER" I think I will do that now. I deeply urge anybody who has a favorite group in your life not to overlook Gothik Serpent. This is my very first tribute band that I will soon start to collect.
Thanks so much Larry for your extremely flattering comment. I'm humbled that you've listened to my cover of The Incident that many times. I will also relay your praise to Olivia and Tau. Do subscribe to this YT channel if you haven't already, as I am constantly working on more music, including my next original album!
This is great. I agree that The Incident is underrated and is not a collection of half baked ideas. I would take Incident over Closure/Continuation any day.
Incredible! Probably close to the best UA-cam cover of any artist I've seen, especially for a whole album as challenging as this. Sound quality is great as well! You should be proud of yourselves.
I love how you personalized Time Flies. And some of the images were breath taking during the track. And then that bass solo, wow! You absolutely blew this well beyond expectations! This is so, so amazing!
No one can discribe this kind of Music, also I cannot discribe Tool.....but I love this kind auf Rock'n Roll. I is the heart of us all...!! Unbelievable.....Greez from good old Germany...
Bravo! Such a criminally underrated album. It's hard to stand up to Fear of a Blank Planet or Deadwing... but The Incident is absolutely amazing in its own right. I really like the flow of the album. It reminds me of the Abbey Road medleys with the cohesion. You folks really did it justice too!
I don’t usually leave comments but this was so incredible and well done I really just had to say so. The incident is my favorite porcupine tree album and this rendition of the main suite was remarkable!!! Incredible work
I love this album and the cover too. Having seen Steven’s latest interview still can’t believe he doesn’t rate it highly. To me it is really captivating
By far the best PT covers out there. It's very exciting to me to find other people who are so touched by his music the way I am. Really really great job on these songs. And I love the changes to the lyrics at the start of Time Flies. Made me smile
This was the album that got me into PT and might still be my favorite of theirs. This is amazing, it really feels to me like you did the record justice with every detail!
By far their most underrated album. Love the shared chord progression of the blind house and octane twisted-the seance. You executed it flawlessly!! Good job
was just talking about you with a fellow music and PT lover, said they should check you out, i had no idea this was sitting waiting for me, but wow this is gonna be impressive, it's 3:30 in the morning and im like damn.. do i play it now, or wait til i can turn it right up, i might take a sneaky look now and come back for the rest later
Thanks for all of your effort put into this project. Love The Incident way up high on my list of favorite PT albums. I completely disagree that they were repeating themselves at this point as this album stands on it's own. Hoping this gets more eyes on it as what you have done is well deserving of acknowledgement/views by PT fans and even the band to see and acknowledge. Thanks Again
Thanks! Total agreement with you, it's got its own sound compared to the rest of the catalogue. I'd love for the band to see it, it would be a dream come true.
@@gothikserpentmusic No problem I am thoroughly impressed at the musicianship and all you did here. Will probably never be read of course but I have sent the link in messages to each member of the band and would ask others to do the same. Looking forward to hearing some of your own music in the future. I would not be surprised to see you tackle The Incident Bonus Tracks.
@@mikehirsch3741 Wow! Thanks so much for that. I'm working on my original album now and will squeeze in more covers like this in between so keep an eye out.

As a big fan of the original album, I have to say you have done a tremendous job and have, at some points, even improved on the original. I really hope this blows up!
@@gothikserpentmusic Yeah, my friend over here has been wishing for more Gothik Serpent PT covers and you just covered his favourite album. Stellar effort.

Amazing work! All those years, I thought this was the Porcupine Tree Swan Song, only to surprise us last year with the Closure/Continuation release. You have done a beautiful job reflecting the passion of the music and honoring the spirit of the original. I enjoyed your little tweaks as well!
What an amazing cover version 🎉 please stay in your „own style“ and don‘t try to get closer to original! This is absolutely wonderful. I can't believe anyone would cover this full album and do it so well. I'd love to hear you do the second CD as well. That has some great songs as well. Thank you! Basically, I personally felt that after the thunderous finish of the title track, the way Your Unpleasant Family starts up with the same energy and drum beat was kind of awkward. Then when I read SW's autobiography, where he wrote that parts of The Incident were half-finished ideas he glued together, it explained everything. So I tried to combine it with The Yellow Windows of the Evening Train to make the whole package more cohesive.

Thank you! The bass solo came about because I was having a hard time understanding how to play the guitar solo in the original.
What an outstanding effort and you all were amazing all throughout. Keep it up! Wish PT would see this
These guys could definitely pull of a PT tribute tour.
I'm going to draw the line and I think the cover is excellent, my congratulations, what you do is incredible

Awesome, than you very much for that!
BTW: As someone born in 1967, I adore how you changed the lyrics to Time Flies!
Thank you! Given the autobiographical nature of Time Flies, I thought it would be more suitable to adjust it that way.
great job, no small feat either!

Your cover came on when I asked Google to play The Incident by PT and I thought it was a PT recording at first. You all killed this!
