Hello! I am from Oklahoma and live out in the country so i can get outside and stir around. I try and stock up and just go into town to the grocery store maybe once a week. I do have a dog that i have spoilt rotten and talk to that keeps me company. I need to get motivated and get my craft room clean out and organize along with my bedroom, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom. Please, take care and be safe! Love your videos!
It's hard to find supplies as most craft stores are no longer in business. I did order a lot of stuff on Amazon. I will say that I suffer from depression and doing this has helped pull me out of it. I created my own studio, which was a guestroom but we never have guest!. Not having friends and being alone all day. I love to decorate so this is a perfect fit for me! Thank you for your videos, I learn new possibilities. I am surrounded by church ladies! LOL!
I have done quite a few paint pours and use the skins for making pendants which are each unique and can never be repeated because the paint does different patterns each time
Hi Janet, I know what you mean, I was worried about the paint all over the place but when I saw how I could use the extra skins I found another new hobby! I have a neat little basket with color themes all in folders of waxed paper to separate them, I use them when I'm working on new projects. Hope you're all staying healthy!
Love that video and those colors! I'm in Cali and fortunately I'm on 2 acres in the north part of the state. Not too bad in my little town. No masks, just using common sense, but our few local businesses are in a bad way as they aren't considered "essential" and must remain closed. So, in these ensuing months, I have been trying my hand at decoupage again. This got going in the early 70's and I did a few things. Now, it's all about chalk paint. Been doing stuff that I had around the house that I was going to toss, but decided to upcycle them. It's been so much fun. Love your channel.
Thank you Carolyn! I'm so glad you're able to go out on your own property, here in my state everything is closed but I live right on the border line of PA so I can take a one mile drive and go to the park there just for a long two mile walk along the Delaware. There are very few people there since it's still chilly out, but the people that are there all observe the 6 foot rule. I'm also glad you were able to get back into decoupage. That's my favorite thing to do, upcycle things so I don't end up buying new things or throwing out other things that still work. Stay healthy!
I'm a total homebody, and love my pets, cooking and of course my art work, so I'm quite busy here, my husband is still working so he's not home as much yet. ;)
Hi from England! Just started doing decoupage and found your channel, love your enthusiasm and clear instructions! We are in lockdown but at least the weather has been lovely, 24 degrees today! Looking forward to going through your previous video’s, all the best and stay safe!
Hey Gf, loved this! I need to save $ to buy what I need to do this! I love it! I haven't been out of the house here in MO except for groceries, bank and medicines. I have gone to my friend Sandy's house, but she's so paranoid since I have a fever from a Sinus infection she doesn't want me coming over to visit until the fever is gone. She thinks I don't take the WuFlu seriously, because I make fun of it. You know me, I always crack on everything. Probably why I don't get asked to many funerals. LoL Anywho, take care and Friday is a good day for videos too these days. Hugs to be fur kids and Don.
I'm with you girlie. I make fun of it too. WTH happened with this darn thing anyway? I think more fascinating news will be coming down the road. I love hearing that we are getting one day closer to ending this darn thing. I had a cold for a week and I wouldn't answer my phone even to talk to family, I didn't want anyone worrying, if I coughed I knew I would hear, "Maybe you should get that checked out!" LOL I knew it was a cold and fever or tiredness, just a cold. Gone now. I find these paint pours to be addictive by the way, so so much fun, I can never do just one. Stay healthy my friend, or get better with that sinus infection (ouch) then stay healthy! hugs!
Hey 👋 looks like your dog is having great time outside. We’re having nice weather here also in Louisiana. As far as groceries go we have gone to order online and delivery from SAMS, Walmart, and Winn-Dixie. The pharmacies are even doing place orders for house hold products and curb side pickups. The colors you used are so pretty on the pour. That’s on my bucket list to try ONE DAY🤷♀️. Until next week “coffee and Patti “. Stay healthy and safe. Enjoy the sunshine 🌞
Hi Sandra! Wow your state sounds a little more strict than here in NJ, I food shop on line then pick it up outside the store but we can go in to the supermarkets, walmart and drug stores. Home Depot too. We are required to wear masks now, stores won't let anyone in without one. But thankfully we have our crafts right? Stay healthy Sandra!
I’m in Houston, TX. I have avoided going into the grocery store by ordering and picking up. I have to alternate between stores in order to get some things that may be out of stock but honestly I have a pantry stocked good enough that we would not starve. As far as the bank, I seldom go any more anyway because I make deposits through the app. I do what can inside and out but probably should get out more often as I tired a lot. Love the other images at the end of the video... especially the dog playing. I’m off to see about dinner and maybe some crafting. Take care everyone
Great video Patti. I'm in NW Indiana. Had a couple great days for weather 60's & 70's but now its dumped out pretty cold again. Husband is fishing :) We could all REALLY use some good weather to help us thru this. I really have to fight depression at times but doing great with my arts & crafts staying busy & totally enjoy your work. Stay well. xoxo
I hear you Brenda, I'm sure you're not alone with the depression part. I have been forcing myself to get out and bike ride or walk for at least 2 miles even when I'm freezing since I will get too depressed if I just sit in this house. Thankfully we have our crafts right? I know not everyone can get out, even to walk or bike ride but hopefully they can do some art work. Stay safe my friend! Patti
I’m in Australia on the Central Coast of Queensland. Alongside the middle of the Great Barrier Reef. Tourist Town Airlie Beach. We have zero tourist here, it’s a ghost town. Australia is on the verge of burning the virus out. We have approx 6100 infected, recovered 1793, Deaths 55
Hello Peta and a big warm welcome. I was shocked to learn recently how few people on our planet live in Australia. Isn't it so very strange to see your beautiful town so empty? I hope you and yours all stay healthy!
Turned out pretty, but I am honest: I tried this technique before, too messy for my liking, though the results are amazing. Thank the gods I have a balcony and can go out there to get some sun whenever I like.
Hi! It is very messy, that's true. The one person who commented was very mean spirited and told me I should not be telling people to do such a wasteful and messy craft! My goodness. I'm so glad you're able to get out on your balcony. Stay healthy!
Thank you Tiny C- Are you on Facebook? I know sometimes UA-cam doesn't send my new videos to people who have subscribed. I think it's a glitch in the system. If you are on Facebook you can just click like and follow on Facebook, and you'll get notices in your Facebook feed. If you're not on FB I put video's out every Thursday at around 10:30 am. I hope you;'re staying healthy!
You say to seal the terra cotta pot inside and out so I did that and my plant died. I've discovered that by sealing it- it does not have the breathability or the moisture wicking it needs for the plant to survive. Now because I followed your advice on sealing I have all these terra cotta pots that are not usable for plants! Really disappointed 😞

I love to watch paint pouring videos, and I still lament the excess paint used. But so much fun to watch.

This looks like a great idea for using up left over paint from previous projects.
I'm in Jersey(North Plainfield) like you. Not gonna lie, I enjoy my home, so this is okay for me💚
I'm a total homebody, and love my pets, cooking and of course my art work, so I'm quite busy here, my husband is still working so he's not home as much yet. ;)
Thanks! I love this! Great ideas!

Wonderful! A big warm welcome from the US! Thank you for your uplifting words, hopefully our craftiness will pull us through all of this. ;)
