I was watching this and had a crazy thought. What if you took a scale model of a car, did a pour over it. Then when it was cured you had someone photograph and digitize each panel. You could then have one of the vinyl wrap companies print it out and apply it to an actual car. Of course it's like a lot of my ideas, the will it's there but the funds aren't. Oh well, maybe some day...thanks for the inspiration even if it never sees the light of day. Great video, by the way.
Very cool! I kept thinking your little green sink strainer upside down under the pot would probably make some neat designs from the paint that went through the top 😱 lol love this one.
Absolutely LOVE the pot AND the painting!!! My garage will be a busy place come spring. RN I have about 5 ft of snow on the ground in my yard/around the house. :/
What about the canvas? What do you put on top and what do you do after you spray the back with water? I love that you aren't waisting any paint. Gorgeous!!
Super awesome! I bought some of that enamel spray to do my paintings. Sprayed the first layer and before I even got the painting to its drying spot there was a bug stuck to it! :) Now that's mixed media! ;) (Just kidding, I got it off the painting.) Love your work so much!
How nice. I did some pots and they turned out great. I did cover the hole though. I also painted inside down about 1 inch. Looks good. Keep on giggling. Leta
Love that POT!! I bought a dozen unusual vases from the thrift store last week and plan on doing some clean pours this week. You rock Marcy! It's ALL your fault..:)
This is COOL!! I'm going to have to do my pots now! Being a stained glass artian, I've done mosaics on them before and you have to put a water sealer on them inside and out. (HAHAHA! At 6 minutes, when you held it up, in the bronzy left corner, I saw an alien face!)
Love that you started with the pot and used the run off to do a painting. I am trying this with 4th and 5th graders and wanted to do both a pot and a canvas now I will combine the 2 into one lesson. How long does it take the painting to dry? Thank you for listing what materials you used. So many do not and it is hard for beginners to figure out what we need.
Omg I just love it.. I was looking for this tutorial, did you paint the pot before put the acrylic? I want to paint a cement pot and put epoxy on the top. Please give me some tip. I want to do but I dont now if will result.
Hey! I'm new here and have been binge watching your videos...amazing. I hope you look at comments because I have one burning question! After you pour the mixed paints into the final cup, you then add paint straight from the tube, paint that hasn't been mixed. Why?
Hi. I did some teeny tiny pots (dollar store) last night and I definitely agree the straight pour is best. My dirty pour got “too dirty” as the colors flowed down the sides. Regarding the spray enamel...will that protect the pots if used outside or is there something else I should use?
I'm a new subscriber! I'm in love with this beautiful art your doing! I love flower pots. Once i tried to spray paint one.... I don't know what color or kings of paint i used but i guess i didn't wait very long for or to dry coz i planted something in it and the plant died in like three days. Ha. I obviously did something wrong. Wrong kind of paint? Anyway, ive been binge watching your videos! Keep 'em coming!
Damn, they both came out really beautiful, kinda reminds me of some inception-thing of a coast mixed with those beautiful cut and polished stones that you can hang in your window and have the colourful inside throw specks of light... Whatever xD I love both! Are they like a set?
I have the small apple barrel paint , I don't have the tall bottles like you use . I don't pour but use brush on the vase instead . Their look sorta distressed looking , is there a way I can get a pretty touch on vases using a brush ?
I have found out that you have to seal the pot inside and out with terracotta sealer or the paint peels off after time due to the watering of the plants
Hi! I'm a beginner and new to painting in general...You said you can tell that your canvas is stretching and effecting your design...how can you tell and what should I look for when buying a canvas? I know artist loft has like level 1-3 or something? What's the difference?
Just visually I could see that it stretched out :) All canvases will stretch, you can tighten them up by spraying the back of it with water. With Artist's Loft the numbers all quality (1 being the lower quality, 3 being higher quality)
I tried my first terra cotta planter pour. Not sure if I like it or not. If I don't like it is there a way I can remove the paint and redo it?, if not that's okay I was just wondering. Thank you.
These are very easy, they're cute in the yard with flowers, and really fun for kids.. my kids and hubby made me a handful a couple years ago. 💙
Really cool. I love how the metallic paints with the purple turn out when mixed
Both the pot and the canvas look really pretty. I really like those colours.
I love the colors...both came out BEAUTIFULLY
Glad you demonstrate the terra cotta pot. Looks great.

Very pretty terracotta and canvas came out awesome also. I love the colors you picked. Thanks for sharing!
Another nice flower pot and canvas.
Great job on both. I like the way you used your finger on the edges. I’ve been having a problem with that so I will give it a try.
I just bought a few terracotta pots from a second hand store today. I know exactly what I'll be doing with them.😉
Oh My Goodness, I'm going to have to try this for my mom, she's a plant freak lol 💚✌
and I love the canvas, it's beautiful
Wow! I love all those colours! That pot and the canvas looked amazing!
Very cool! I kept thinking your little green sink strainer upside down under the pot would probably make some neat designs from the paint that went through the top 😱 lol love this one.
I love doing these. Fabulous!
Beautiful pot and painting
Very cool! I have a lot of plants and use a lot of terra cotta pots. This will help add some color & variety to my collection. Thanks!
Great job! I have actually been doing this since last year, and love the results.
OH wow... I love that flower pot
Love the color combo! Great job on the pot and canvas came out great!!
Really enjoy your videos. Love your choice of colors. I could only wish to have some of your great creativity! Thanks so much!
Gorgeous painting
That is gorgeous!!! I love the colors and also your canvas pour is fantastic!
Super beautiful and great idea putting canvas below the pot! ♥♥♥♥♥ #KnowledgeIsPower!#AwesomeTeam☮♥♥♥♥♥
Both are Beautiful!!
Wow! That got gorgeous! And congratulations for the idea to do a painting with what's left!
Love the colors you used! Beautiful 😍
Absolutely LOVE the pot AND the painting!!! My garage will be a busy place come spring. RN I have about 5 ft of snow on the ground in my yard/around the house. :/
I like your colours for both!

Love the bronze in it
Love both of those very pretty
Super awesome!

Love your work so much!
😆 😆 😆
I love this!! I have been saving up terra cotta pots for awhile to try this, glad it comes out so cool :D
Love your ideas! Thank you so much
How nice. I did some pots and they turned out great. I did cover the hole though. I also painted inside down about 1 inch. Looks good. Keep on giggling. Leta
Brian M Fieldwick ora
nice color combination! the painting and pot turned out really great!
I think that painting resembles a fish! I love it
Just watching this older video that you mentioned before I see your latest terra cotta pot pour.
Looks soooo good girl!!!!
What a fun project!
Stellar work!!
Very beautiful .. like an opal colour .👏👍😍
Great job, gave me a few ideas- thanks!!!
Both were great!
These are cool ideas.
This excites me...
Love that POT!! I bought a dozen unusual vases from the thrift store last week and plan on doing some clean pours this week. You rock Marcy! It's ALL your fault..:)
lol, you're welcome :)
Floutrol added?
Love the colors

I’m so inspired by your vids!!!
Very beautiful
Love this!
UGH... you are such a tease 🤨
Was so surprised, and happy, you were using pink. Then you buried it under all those other pretty colors 😉😉😆
Lol sorry, it was too chunky so I couldn't use more of it
Likely excuse 🙄
ROFLMBO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I seal the inside so when the terracotta absorbs water it doesn't bubble up the acrylics.
Straight pours are the best
Love the clean pour...hate muddy colors. What about blocking the bottom hole with a wine cork or tape?
So beautiful both
Can this be used with live plants or would it ruin the coating?? May be a dumb question, but I would love to have some of these to display my plants!
Love the look
VERY BEAUTIFUL
Great color!
You just add floetrol to existing paints till it’s the consistency you like?? Cool videos love watching them all
Came out looking great. Did you not want to tape up the hole? Honest question, not being critical.
Honestly I wanted to see how it would look with the paint falling through the middle :)
How to turn an ugly duckling into a swan! Both are very pretty!!
Love that you started with the pot and used the run off to do a painting. I am trying this with 4th and 5th graders and wanted to do both a pot and a canvas now I will combine the 2 into one lesson. I have some planters now I have an idea thank you. I dont care for the plain planters.
Wow! You simply did great work ♥
Can I use oil paint on pot for the same result?
I did this with some mini terracotta pots. They look awesome
Woooooo! 😍😍😍😍
Beautiful job
Beautiful
Lovely 😊
Very nice!!! If you wanted a super gloss is it ok to use resin on it instead? Or it wouldn’t be good cuz it will be outside. Thx!!
Hi just awesome. Mine pot r full of plants . In that case I think I cannot apply this idea I guess. Then how to paint?
Omg I just love it.. I was looking for this tutorial, did you paint the pot before put the acrylic? I want to paint a cement pot and put epoxy on the top. Please give me some tip. I want to do but I dont now if will result.
Super cool
had been waiting for this video!

All of my paints have been mixed with floetrol and water. I store them premixed in bottles
Ahh, thanks so much!
Sure!
Very pretty.

Oh no! Not sure :( We'll see how my plant does :)
Wowww

Next time try putting the canvas underneath upside down bc the wood structure on the back will be more secure! 😊
Love it
How did you mix your paint? I love how the flower pot flowed. ❤️
Looks like a Smurf.
When u. Put the pot over the side how did u do that?the top of pot must stick ??
cool
I have found out that you have to seal the pot inside and out with terracotta sealer or the paint peels off after time due to the watering of the plants
Good to know!
Nice!!!!
Hi!! Great video.. I have a question as I'm yet to do a pour...I've bought pre-coloured canvas in a sale....do I treat them the same as white canvas?
Yep! Just paint it white if you want.
Mixed Media Girl thanks🤗
Fucking amazing. I'm going to go get the stuff to do this right now!!
Can you try a dirty pour, thanks your awesome
So pretty! Which primer did you use?
I used Kilz Latex interior/exterior water based primer :)

Do you not have to wait for weeks like you do with canvases before sealing?
Does the clear coat make it waterproof?
