I was there in 1984 and at least one wooden temple was standing then. It had survived many years of war. Korean chopsticks are the hardest in the world to use, I ate mostly fish when I was there. Beef and pork was very rare and very expensive then. I love fish so I loved the food. The corn dogs and hamburgers were made of fish. My favorite drinks were Soju and OB Beer.
Thank you for capturing this place! It is seriously my favorite restaurants in the whole world. When you go with many friends, you can eat and drink all night long.
I love everything about Mark and the way he films himself enjoying food. Mark you are such a clean eater. There's never ANYTHING gross about watching you eat! You make everything look so good!!

ammonia? WTF? Might as well just grab a gallon of javex bleach or ammonia and chug it down. This is an interesting video but between the squid creeping me out and the ammonia I'm almost ready to give this a thumbs down. Seriously Mark, do you ever get sick from eating this poisonous food?
Wow, even I'm Korean I can't eat that fish. It just stings your nose and make you numb. Almost 70% of Koreans have hard time eating those, but Mark just nailed it. RESPECT!!
it's fantastic to show the real food in Korea! Mark has opened our vision of the different cultures of food in this world! Thank you for sharing with us!
My mouth is watering! Also, Mark, you are a breath of fresh air! I love your enthusiasm with every bite you take! I feel like I am there with you eating as well! Lol

Hi Mark, just subscribe to your videos. As a matter of fact, I never subscribe to anything on the internet before as I don't really like to post. But after watching your videos, I decided to subscribe to your food videos. I really enjoyed your feedback on food and also in the videos, telling us where you were going and what you will be doing next. Also like clips of hotels you were staying, riding subways, in a cab, or even just walking toward a restaurant. All this make the videos more entertaining and real. I am very happy for you and Ying, doing what you guys enjoy doing most... One more thing, read about you going on a world tour and one of the stop is in Istanbul, with the situation in Turkey, I really hope that you can change your mind in going there.

It goes to show what a gentle soul he is that, when dressed in full combat gear with a pellet gun, the first thing he thinks of is "astronaut."
