Tell me you're American without telling me you're American:
"I thought the neighbours were making cat noises outside so I went and got my dads rifle"
LMAO
Ouch!
Yea and?
Winchester shotgun*
*Antique BAR service rifle
Yeah even we bigfoots are intimidated by wendigos
Good thing they are on land
Hey now, I've heard a few stories of you guys throwing rocks and sticks to scare wendigos off.
Hey man, stop hiding and we can team up on em? We need intelligent gorillas to fight big bois
Are these supposedly true stories? If so the second individual should seek out a healer from a nearby Native American tribe.
I'm still salty that you copied my previous username
Dude thought his neighbours were messing around and immediately got a gun. Long live America.
Maybe they shouldn't "F*ck around & find out* 🤔
Have you seen the case where the dude killed a man, stole two cars, and tried to kill his grandmother? He only got 14years. Long live England
Murica
That's a really good example of why kids need to go through hunter safety classes and not only be well trained but have solid common sense or they should not have access to any firearms.
The time to start is when they're around 8 years old (old enough to listen, young enough to have respect for adults)I had a single shot 22 rifle that was dialed in by my dad as my starter gun. It gave me confidence and I learned how to handle it safely before being allowed to use anything else.

First story: "I figured that the neighbors got hammered and decided to joke around meowing so, naturally, I got my dad's Winchester rifle..."
This story turned GTA real fast. I'm going to resume playing it now and I'll be really disappointed if there's not at least a drive-by by the end of the story.

Aww, the real cryptid was the friends OP made along the way, how nice.
Loved the first story.
Never heard a story about befriending the cryptid. xD
I befriended the ghost in or kitchen at my old house lol, that's the closest I've ever got to meeting a cryptid
At least I hope the ghost thought of me as ts friend

I have an interesting friend that has made "friends" with a couple cryptids.
Giant horned wolf monster charges guy, guy faints, wolf monster proceeds to sigh loudly and then drag the guy to his car and fiddle with the door so he can put the guy back in the driver's seat
A solid “I don’t want to kill you but you need to leave”
Or....
Giant Horned Wolf doggo: OH BOY A FRIEND!!!
Man passes out.
Doggo: GOD DANG IT NOT AGAIN.
Sigh, my job isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be anymore. I think I need to look into a career change.
Monster was just horribly lonesome being locked away like that. You can't "contain" spirits like that it makes them go mad.

I want a lil wendigo friend
I really love the first story. It describes a leshy perfectly. They are merciless to those that disrespect the place they live in and are completely different from a wendigo.
but aren't leshy slavic? the first story guy is from america i believe?
@@user-dq8km4zt7f I'm Asian so in my perspective they are everywhere though their name may differ from time to time they still exhibit the same trait. In my culture they are call the lord of the forest but not all forest are own by the same lord. We often time perform a ceremonials rites and gather them to eat with us when we are in their area. This ceremonials is a sign of respect and goodwill toward them so we won't be outed to be intruders. If we don't perform this ceremonials rites, we will be met with misfortune, and possibly death. Even after migrating to the United States we still believes in them being everywhere since we are very superstition about it. Also not all of them are with evil intentions.
@@leepaoyang710 im pretty sure leshy are mostly neutral
@@user-dq8km4zt7f Yes, they are neutral but it also depends on the person that are entering their forest. They will often time drive them away by having them walk in a maze which will exhaust the person to death, walk off a cliffs, or play tricks on then untill the person is no longer alive. For example if a couple enter a forest and the leshy doesn't like one of them, they will cause one of them to hallucinate and get one of them to kill the other or have one of them walk off as if they are possessed.
@@leepaoyang710 well yeah neutral depending if you're good or not
The second story is like: yes, I died, but it's all fine now
Did you die?
Sadly yes.... But I lived!

I'm sure this guy narrated children's books on cassette when I was little
No he didn't do this. He was listening to children's stories on cassettes when he was little too. Cassettes were replaced by CDs by the time he grew up.
@@cadeverell they meant that he has the kind of voice that children's cassettes uses. Also cassettes aren't that obsolete depending on the school you go to. I listened to cassettes in both elementary and middle school. I'm only 20 so it really just depends. Besides, the nararrators on CDs like I'd listened to in high school English class are basically the same anyways. It's just funny to me that people my age don't know what cassettes are when I spent most of my school years using and listening to them.
@@cadeverell Me who grew up with cassettes.. who was born in the 2000s
He reminds me of Simon Pegg’s narration of the kids book, “Room on the Broom “
Does give that vibe
3rd story: "I think i must have been around 8 years old" - _immediately_ recognizes the vague sounds as a wendigo and knows all the lore about them.
Yeah, ok.....
I have to admit these are the stories that make me skeptical all over again. I would like to find genuine stories.
Thought the same thing. Haha, like wow Dow do you instantly know everything about wendingos, and know for sure that’s what it is. 😂
Eh, I can believe it. Depends on the area, yeah? And the culture of the kiddo and folks raising em. That, and kids can be freaks, anyway, even if it isn’t relevant to their culture or area. I knew a hell of a lot about venomous snakes as a kid, didn't have internet, and don't even live in a country with snakes to begin with, lol.
I mean i knew most of the cryptic when i was 8 not what they sound like.
I mean if they were told by elders multiple times it could be
Our neighbours got a bit drunk and played a harmless prank...SO ANYWAY,I GOT MY SHOTGUN
Pranks have gotten people hurt and even killed.
Me to self: Aw just finished listening to a wendigo story if only sinister would post a new- Sinister: way ahead of ya
Me to self: tears of joy
I like how the wendigo picture for this video has a wendigo on it that’s like “come at me bro”. Adds character.
1st story ended up becoming like some kind evangelion story about the main character and monster just being lonely and stuff
All that’s left is for them to become Orange Fanta
Just so authors are aware actual Algonquin wendigos or classic wendigos don't have antlers. The antlers trope is a modern phenomenon.
interesting.
I always wondered what was up with the antlers
Can be a form of camouflage. Trick people and hunters into beliving that it is a deer at a distance.
I assume that it's a sort of confusion between skin walkers and wendigos
What if they’re wearing a costume? Did the Algonquin say anything about them being stupid? I wore a costume once to prank someone on Halloween, a gorilla suit to be specific.
Those sounds in the background are realy doing the job, they add another level of scaryness
Whether the stories are true or not, adding music makes it soo much better, like with the first story.
Antlers on wendigos seems to be a hot-button issue. Maybe they've adapted to our stereotypical version?
Or the authors don't know. Lol
Ambience makes it so much spookier! I'd love to see full sound fx usage.
I like that first story, i wish he told his family and girlfriend about it though.
The second story is somthing i would want to be a movie
It reminds me of something I’ve seen before as I can literally picture the scene like it’s from a tv show lol
That last story . Yikes. I actually had anxiety . Your voice, inflections, and perfectly placed music and sounds makes listening to your stories equal to watching a movie if not better

Wendigo stories are and always will be the best stories, especially with your narration
Thanks! They certainly are popular!
Love the story where the teen tries to befriend it. Reminds me of my favorite wendigo story that I heard months ago and haven't been able to find again since. The person was an artist that moved out to an isolated cabin on top of a mountain and over months it got closer and started messing around just outside on the porch. One day he told a Native American local about it and was told to flee immediately and stay in his house at the base of the mountain. This is when it got vicious and ransacked the house and ended up chasing the artist down the mountain.
If anyone can help me track this story down, that would be awesome. I haven't heard it in so long and I loved the fact that it was curious instead of just bloodthirsty.
I love this story to. I don't know who you heared it from first but I heared it from Mr sinister. I believe it's the second one in this set of 4... hope it helps! ua-cam.com/video/ZfSLt0hL0gA/v-deo.html

I remember when I was young I was looking out the window keeping in mind it was night I'm alone in my room facing the back yard looking at the fence it was a wired one 8 or 9 feet tall you could of corse see through it not to long after looking I saw something with long hair... sticking up similar to an the ostrich but the feathers or spikes whatever clear the fence like nothing started bolting at me. Definitely ran on four legs but could stand on two when it saw me it struck so much fear into me. Being that this was in a very rural area only Houses no forests nothing of that sort. Was scary is that it's hair whatever was protruding from it's head or back seemed to move with it like hair or feathers but with gravity not taking effect. It looked as half of its body was composed of it too... Then again it scars me too this day.
Also my parents called the cops being how petrified I was. I told them the story they said it probably was a burgler or smthn I've I was 9 when that happened.
Still plays in my mind like it was yesterday.
Makes me wonder one of many king of relate to the first story except I feels things from stuff (objects) with strong energys. Anyways there's a little story time... Give me a reply if you've had anything similar. I've seen a handful of things like that but this one was the worst haha.
Glad to be back Mr Sinister been out of pocket 😊👍
Most versions of the legend of the wendigo don't specifically say it has deer antlers. They only mention claws and teeth, pale skin , and extreme height. It's actually just a very common artistic interpretation.
Only just recently found your channel and I must say that I thoroughly enjoy your narrations. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
The best part of these is making the scenes out in your head it makes it creepier and cooler
i love when you narrate spooky stories
Thanks!
I'm going to go camping near the woods next week. This is the type of content I absolutely need to stay away from.......
But I still listen to it anyway 😂😂
Lol
these videos are amazing, the horror aspect, you know how to read with the perfect tone, and after the intro to each story, the scary music and sounds come in, it really makes these videos way more scary even if the story isn’t very scary itself, great job!
These stories creep me out, but I can’t stop listening. Your narrating is so good and gives me the chills.
I only discovered this channel yesterday, and thank god I did, I've been unable to sleep due to being painfully sick and I think I would've literally gone insane if I didn't have these stories to listen to
Are these supposedly true stories? If so the second individual should seek out a healer from a nearby Native American tribe.
They aren't. The Wendigos having antlers are a dead giveaway.

Oh nooo not the dreaded "wendido", here before he corrects it #earlygang
Oops!
I love story #1. I feel the exact same way. I am introverted and just moved to an entirely new state, all alone. I have had some strange experiences since doing so, and hadn't, previously, been used to living near the wood. Anyway, I have often felt like these creatures might be lonely as well...and as crazy as it sounds, have attempted to befriend them, similar to what is heard in story #1.
You know it's a fan fic when the person telling the story goes from "this unknown creature" to a wendigo expert
I have your videos playing in the background while I work on my medical homework, it's very helpful for me since I need sounds to focus. But my door blew shut while this was playing and scared the fuck out of me.
>Assumes the neighbors are drunk and meowing like cats outside.
>>Grabs his shotgun
Lol wow.
When I was 12-ish...I was in my room playing video games. My brother was in his room doing the same and my parents were upstairs watching TV. It was a quiet evening, everyone in the house doing what we usually do. It was dark out - probably about 9 pm. Out of nowhere I hear this terrible noise. It seemed it was right outside my window...my stomach dropped and I froze in a primal way, in fear. The noise lasted for probably 5 seconds. It sounded like... a guttural screech...alien...almost like the noise a cat makes when defensive, but too low and too human sounding for my brain to think "cat", a gurgle, demonic. As soon as the noise stopped I ran out of my room and into my brothers. Visibly shaken I asked, "Did YOU hear that??" He said no. I yelled upstairs and asked my mom to come down... everyone shrugged it off as an animal. To this day I have no idea what made that demonic noise. It could have been an animal - but no animal noise has ever made my body freeze in terror that that.
The second one sounds like something straight out of the scp files. Sounds like an mtf agent made them forget what happened and then let the creatures affects happen since it wasn’t high risk.
The first story is honestly something I would do-
Very much enjoy your narration. Great voice and tempo and cadence. Love listening to the stories.
Second story.
“Dude, why don’t you want the house?”
“Because your dumbass almost got me killed, made me clinically insane, and ruined my love relationship.”
I like your narration. You, Darkness Prevails and What Lurks Beneath I think are all pretty good. I haven't heard everyone yet, but when I look for Wendigo stories, you guys pop up a lot. Glad I found ya.

Wonderful stories, these are the best and the narration is great as well
Finally found another actually good horror story channel
You know. I really like the first one because it goes against the reality of what a wendigo is. In native american legend (as far to my knowledge) the Wendigo is a horror and monster that a Human becomes if it eats another Human's flesh, and now only wish to eat more and more. So the concept that this thing has still retained or regained it's Humanity to the point where it would rather make a friend than eat... it is just so bloody fascinating to me.
Or maybe it wasn't a wendigo at all.
Dude yes these are my fave cryptid stories! Thanks so much 😊
pretty good, sound effects on point once again!
absolutely fantastic narration- and the stories are super intriguing!
Definitely love your narrations. Especially ones with stories like these about paranormal or cryptid stories that are supposed to be true

Great Video! I love your voice. Its actually quite calming, like watching a horror movie but with a friend.
Anyone else jealous of the dude with a monster friend? I mean come on who doesn't want to have a cool, mysterious, friendly(ish) monster to talk with when your lonely?
Off work and a new video got to love it
Same here...
The first story made me feel so bad for the guy. he had to leave his creature friend
Alright. First off. Tell me this.
You can't lie that it wouldn't be cool to have a animal or mythic creature as a friend. Imagine these two dudes mugging you in the middle of the woods and then your good pal... (Lets you Big Foot) Big Foot strolls up and roars at them. That would be a scary kind of cool.
I remember the first time i saw it. ,it can play with memory and even mimic most things

I always get disappointed when I hear a Wendigo story and they have antlers.
How come?
@@Tony.Bishop The antlers aren't part of original Native American mythology. They were added for the movie Pet Sematary in 1989 to make the Wendigo "scarier", and there's a lot of behind the scenes stuff about that decision, even though it has nothing to do with actual Native American Wendigo. But that movie is what made Wendigo popular to begin with, and forever changed the way people think they're supposed to look. So whenever I hear a "true story" about a Wendigo with antlers, not only do I know it's super far from a "true story" but also the author didn't even research what a Wendigo is outside of popculture and creepypasta where other people made the same mistake.
@@Wanderer_of_Sol Damn that's crazy that theres so much false infomation about the Wendigo, I've heard so many stories where they talk about antlers. Thanks for telling me this info I am half native american and I have a interest in these beings but I don't know very much about them. Also I think that Pet sematary is retarded for adding antlers to the Wendigo to "make it scarier" because the Wendigo is already scary af they didn't need to change anything about it 😂.
@@Tony.Bishop funny how the Until Dawn Wendigos are more accurate than these creepypastas .
I thought it was Pet Cemetery we had to blame for that. Windigo are as fascinating as Vampires and Werewolves to me. Thematically interesting creatures. Just the stories I've heard or read about them make them plenty scary without someone adding antlers. Or even worse, a full on deer skull head. Ugh.
I just found this UA-cam channel and all I can say is I'm addicted to this channel
So weird, but i love falling asleep to people narrating creepypastas or scary stories, even though it sometimes gives me nightmares LOL but you have such a soothing voice! You & creepsmcpasta are my favorites :-)
