Hello Again Once again a decent vid spoiled by lack of detail. What I want to know is about the gaps to be left between the blade and the roller bearings. He says "small gap" "little bit of space" what does that mean, a millimeter? fraction of a millimeter? or are we talking microns? He mentions shims, what thickness of shims ? I suppose if you have used bandsaws and are a little bit familiar this is all obvious, but I havnt. It would have been good if he could have zoomed in to see the gaps, then at least I/we could have seen the order of the gap and taken it from there.
    Regards - Jn

It'd be much better if you showed close up shots of the tracking. It's difficult to see anything in this video

Hi Vincent, thank you for your comment. Please can you confirm if you are referring to the set up of the standard fence? Best Wishes, Record Power.

@@MrVinny3006 Hi Vincent, to set the table sq to the blade 1st its best to set your fence sq to the slot, so you adjust the fence rail to suit, and still keeping the fence sq to the table top so that it glides along with ease, then with the widest blade that you have fitted to your bandsaw move the fence close to the blade, but 1st having laid a steel rule, or another straight edge against the blade so that it is between the teeth of the blade and on a flat area, then this will allow you to see the error, and then loosen the bolts that hold the table to the bracket below, then with care knock the table one way or the other with a mallet. or a block of wood, that way when you introduce the straight edge you will see the error reduce, but remember to keep the table insert centre to your fitted blade, so that it does not rub against it. In a past video we setup a BS350S Fence which maybe of use to you, also a Sabre upgrade that again shows how to adjust. please make any adjustments with the machine unplugged, and check the free movement of the blade before switching on again.
Hope this all makes sense, let us know how you get on.
