    Record needs to introduce better quality control. Bought 2 ss16v scroll saws and within a week of having the first one the arm came loose away from the motor, the second one happened within half an hour of use. Also bought an AC400 air cleaner, the remote works intermittently despite changing the batteries and checking connection multiple times. My father was a big believer in the brand, but I think using generic platforms has drastically decreased reliability.

    Hi, thanks for the nice video.
    I also didn't see how you set the fence at 90° to the surface of the table.
    I have the saw exactly at 90°, but the fence is slightly off.

    Can the Blade guides on a bs 350 Be upgraded to the same as the Sabre 350 ?

      I realize this is late, but if you don't mind voiding the warranty your BS350 or BS350S, you can fit similar guides made for the Rikon 10-324 and 10-325. I upgraded my BS350S with this kit, and it works great. I had to enlarge the opening in the frame for the lower blade guides to match the opening in the Rikon bandsaws.

    What is the point of having a wiper at each end when in fact only one touches the table and adds to the setup time? Why not put the second wiper in a position where it also touches the table?

      Hi Dennis, thank you for your comment. The wiper is fitted to aid smooth movement over the T-slots at the far end, preventing a catch at the top end as it is moved over. This is the reason for fitment so when you reverse the fence to the opposing side of the blade, the other wiper comes into use.
