Yes, please do a video of "before and after" projects you sold last year. I'm recently retired and I want to start a business flipping furniture. I have the perfect space in my garage for a workshop (I'm going to organize that first and your workshop is perfect, I'm going to use that for inspiration) and I love doing this kind of work. My favorite makeover was the armoire chest. I have one now that I need to makeover for an Airbnb room in my house that I'm starting this month. I also watch your video's to find out what's in style. Things change so fast!
My favorite was the black armoire because I have a 80’s bedroom thomasville wall unit that I want to have redone. It’s to beautiful to toss it. Thank you for sharing.
I watched the flip where you made over your mom's bedroom set, and I just wanted to say the color is even more beautiful in person! I did a custom piece for a friend of mine recently, and she chose the Cape Currant as well, and I feel in love with the color! Gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing with us!!
I love color like your mom & you did a beautiful job but the dressers looked even more beautiful in their habitat. Lovely how you did the handles. You aced it!
Would love to see all your makeovers. The pieces you sold & pricing. You are the first person I watch DIY. The equipment you have compiled & your garage upgrades are noticeable. Love your vids.
Your work is amazing.... the colors yum. Love all the updated features, cane, hardware. All beautiful. Fluted / marble look top peice. Not even finished.... but beautiful. !!
I love the variety of your pieces and your honesty in what worked and what didn't. It's important to do some of these creative things for yourself so you can enjoy your own work!
The color you used is the exact color I got custom made at lowes. The were able to color match a table cloth I got. I absolutely love this green. It's going on my table and chairs and loving room table and end table since I have the open concept.
You are so precise and clean with your work. I learned a lot from this. Gorgeous pieces. I’m not a furniture flipper, I’m just painting my 80s oak vanities right now. I used beyond paint on one of them and I loved the finish. Just don’t put painters tape on the paint! It peeled the paint right off. I was able to touch it up. I should’ve used 123 on it. For my other vanity I just used Home Depot’s cabinet paint with lots of prep. I needed a specific color, Behr Meteorological, because I love color. I’ve noticed lots of flippers are using greens. I’m loving blues right now. Anyway, I hope to do more projects in the future.
I love your videos! You are such a great teacher and love all of your projects. I would want to keep them all, they are so pretty! I am going to try the Beyond Paint in licorice. Thanks for sharing!❤
When you are starting out, I think $100-150 is a good profit when you are still learning. The more flips you get under your belt the more you can charge.
Great work! Please do make a video of what you sold last year. Please show the before and after of each piece, as well as what you sold it for compared to your out-of-pocket costs. Thanks for your show.
is there a difference from using the surfprep sander as opposed to using an orbital sander? i've seen lots of people using the surfprep sander and was wondering if i'm missing something.
Hi Christina! I’ve just found your channel and love your instructions around the flips you’ve shown! One question, for pre-cleaning, you’ve mentioned Simple Green, White Lightening and TSP. Do you have certain situations that dictate which you use? A guy at Loews said only use TSP as a last resort b/c of its harshness. Can you share your thoughts? Thanks, Michelle!
Hi if you make a mistake and want to redo the top you can just apply the next coat without sanding provided the last coat hasn't completed hardened no need to sand.
I am trying to learn about refinishing furniture. Why would you use a brushes that leave brush strokes rather than a roller, particularly a sponge roller? Thanks.
I've been watching your videos for months (and loving them!) - I'm trying to learn how to re-do some furniture I've inherited (and hoping to sell). I still have a lot to learn! Why did you use a roller on the first example vs spraying (I saw where you sprayed your master bedroom gentlemen's' chest black last year)
I have two pieces I want to redo. One is an oak table and one is a pine island. Would you recommend the Dixie bell products for those? I need something easy peasy.. it sounds like the beyond paint is more for faux type surfaces? Thank you!
I would love to refinish my 80s oak dresser and bedside chests but I am at a loss as to how to do this. They have lots of curved edges yet boxy and the drawer pulls are actually an oval cut out rather than hardware. I am not much into carpentry but adding paint, stains, adding legs and hardware are my skill set. I haven’t found anything out there showing makeovers on this kind of furniture. I would love ideas. Wish I could add photos. 🥴
It was fun to watch this recap. 😊 My flips are focused on pieces for me and family. It is satisfying and I am happy you focused on what worked for you during 2022. I do have UFOs ..the pieces that linger and aren't quite "done" 🙄😏
So inlove with this project and been dreaming about making this ever since I first seen it! However, I can't justify spending all that money on the overlays!!! How can I recreate this ?? Also, I have the 8 cube shelf from big W (we don't have IKEA in my home town)
Hi Christina. I own a Ethan Allen solid Maple drop leaf table. It is at least 60 yrs old. It was my mother’s and in excellent condition ( not even a scratch). How much do you think it might be worth? I’m not looking to sell it I’m just curious. Your channel is inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us. Wood does absorb odor really bad.
I have a question about coverage: when using paints like the Lilly Moon Opulent, do you have to use more than one 16 oz jar on say, a dresser? I really want to try it, but I want to make sure I get enough for the project I'm working on. Thanks so much for making all these great videos! They really inspired my wife and me to start flipping furniture!
I know this question isn't related to this video. But can I ask where you got your new dining room !ight over the table? I absolutely love it and it is in line with my new style. Thanks in advance
I paused your video to say THANK YOU for being realistic and not staging that beautiful ikea flip, that is real life! My 10yr old has all her Legos on top of her dresser and I'm totally OK with that, it's what makes a kids room!
I'm new to All In One paints. I'm currently using Fusion that I found locally. I'm painting a dark blue. I keep getting eithr roller or brush strokes no matter what I do. Is Dixie Belle easier to use? Or the Beyond Paint?
I've only used Fusion a hand full of times, but I like paint I can thin out with water so that is why I go with Dixie Belle a lot. The water will help smooth out the finish. But the only true way to avoid brush strokes is to spray. Sanding in between coats helps as well.
I can’t believe the black one didn’t sell right away! It was my favorite
If you soak the rattan in bath tub & then install damp, it will dry nice & tight on the piece. 😊
That was a great recap! You are a excellent flipper to watch, I have learned loads from your vids. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice!
Yes a video with before, after, pricing and sold would be great!!! You do such an awesome job!
Ok thanks!
Love your instructions on repairing. I am a newbie to furniture repair. Your are awesome. Thanks. I have a project for my home.
Love to see last years stuff! You really are a great teacher.
Thank you! 😊

You're welcome!

@Christina, the orange dresser with the not original feet would be a hit in Europe, I love it! Would by it like it is. Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹✌️
Thanks for watching Lidia
YES! Please do a video on what you painted and sold last year. How do you determine what price to sell your furniture at?
That expoy marble is the coolest thing I've seen!
Want to know where u get the face mash❤❤
I love the variety of your pieces and your honesty in what worked and what didn't. It's important to do some of these creative things for yourself so you can enjoy your own work!
Love your work!!! You really turn things into beautiful pieces that might have otherwise gone in the dump!!! Giving new life to something!!!
Thank you so much!
Absolutely love love your projects, all your tips on painting, sanding, explaining and just how you love doing what you do!
Glad you enjoy it!
The color you used is the exact color I got custom made at lowes. The were able to color match a table cloth I got. I absolutely love this green. It's going on my table and chairs and loving room table and end table since I have the open concept.
I love green too!💚
Love these I just repainted my table and chairs to . Wish that I had seen your video for some helpful tips . Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Your mom’s furniture is stunning. I’d be showing it off to everyone too.
Belfast, Northern Ireland also here 😀
So cool. I want to visit Ireland someday.
45 secs into vid and I LOVE her. Personable, well spoken and very relatable.
Can’t pick one piece. Everything is beautifully done and such a up-to-date look. Love them all.
Getting the cane wet first helps the application and when it dries…will shrink a little so will be taut
Huge projects! Love all your projects including the rust colored dresser.
Thanks so much!
I loved the last desk you did in this video!!!
Loved the video. Your table was beautiful . I loved the marble look as well . Great jobs .
Love them all!! Nicely done. Cheers!

Love that! Thanks for sharing.
The Gentleman’s chest is stunning!!❤
Barkeeper’s friend would polish those french provincial handles up nicely. I just did that to mine
You are so right. I’ve don’t that, too.
Love everything you did. Thanks for sharing. Your dining table is my favorite. Although all were awesome
Thanks so much! 😊
yes please show what you sold. I really enjoyed all the pieces and just leaning about flipping pieces and how to do it.
Thank you so much for the vlog. I have subscribed and will be looking into all your vlogs. Really really enjoyed it.
I love your videos! You are such a great teacher and love all of your projects. I would want to keep them all, they are so pretty! I am going to try the Beyond Paint in licorice. Thanks for sharing!❤
Love your work!
Please share how you are flipping and how much you are selling for, What's a good flip and profit?
When you are starting out, I think $100-150 is a good profit when you are still learning. The more flips you get under your belt the more you can charge.
You are so talented! Good work all around.
Thank you so much!
Love them all. Thank you for the inspiration and lessons
Glad you like them!
Yes I would love to see the pieces you sold.
Love your videos. Thanks for taking your time to explain in such detail what you do and giving me great inspiration.
For cane you should try soaking it in water and then staple it. When it dries it’ll be tight.
I love watching you work ❤the dowels on the rast makes it look so much more high end!
Thank you! 😊
My favorite was your mom’s bedroom furniture!!! Love it!!❤
Yay! Thank you!
I would love to see a full video of your sales
Great work! Please do make a video of what you sold last year. Please show the before and after of each piece, as well as what you sold it for compared to your out-of-pocket costs. Thanks for your show.
Amazing projects!! Absolutely love your epoxy marble technique too 😎😎💪💪
You are sooo talented….such great vision! Hard to pick a favorite …. I think l would have to go with the Tarva makeover. Honestly l loved them all!
That was so fun. I am fascinated by the custom color mixes you did. Have to try!
My fav was the mid Century beat up night stands!!! Probably cause I do mostly pieces with some damage.
Andersonville, Tennessee here!
Also love to see TN in the building. :)
I've recently found a local Dixie Belle retailer and am in Love with all the 🇺🇸 products and FUN names (Mama Butter & voodoo stain ...).
That is awesome!
I personally am not into the black anything. BUT, I am into staining and painting old pieces and using them in my own home. Do you do Q/A?
I loved this recap. So informative thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. !
You are so welcome!
Can you provide the link for the gilding wax? Loving the french provincial!
Very inspirational.
Nicely presented. Much appreciation here
Much appreciated! ❤️
Love all your stuff
is there a difference from using the surfprep sander as opposed to using an orbital sander? i've seen lots of people using the surfprep sander and was wondering if i'm missing something.
You're a very talented person
I have a great tip. The woven rattan/cane is expensive. Thrift stores have woven rattan/cane window blinds for cheap.
Thanks for the suggestion!
You are so inspiring. II'm starting a makeover tomorrow!!
Have fun!

beautiful transformations!
Thank you! 😊
I think you did a amazing job love it 😊❤
May I ask why you didn't use a roller on the Black piece please? I am new to this...when to use brushes/when to use rollers?
I am trying to learn about refinishing furniture. Why would you use a brushes that leave brush strokes rather than a roller, particularly a sponge roller? Thanks.

Do you have to thin the Beyond Paint for use in your spray gun?
It was fun to watch this recap. 😊 My flips are focused on pieces for me and family. It is satisfying and I am happy you focused on what worked for you during 2022. I do have UFOs ..the pieces that linger and aren't quite "done" 🙄😏
Yay! Thank you!
I would love to see those pictures.

If you are spraying, definitely get two. I hand painted a six drawer dresser with Lilly Moon and a 16 oz can was all I needed.
What brand and color is the gilding wax that you use?? Absolutely beautiful flips!!! 😍
I use the Gold from Dixie Belle. dixiebellepaint.com/gilding-wax/?aff=166
I know this question isn't related to this video. But can I ask where you got your new dining room !ight over the table? I absolutely love it and it is in line with my new style. Thanks in advance
Of course...here is a link to everything in my dining room!www.amazon.com/shop/christinamuscari/list/1J7NS0OI1NGQ2?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ons_mixed_d
New to your channel I have enjoyed it

I know right? Thanks for the comment. 🤣
Where do you get your gold gilding wax?
What kind of sander are you using?
I love it
Maybe I missed it, but where did you get the caning?
You are a great teacher i have a piece i want to do i will continue to use your things for inspiration. I'm new but you inspire me l😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Hello I love you amazing job. I need the name of the paint
I'm new to All In One paints. I'm currently using Fusion that I found locally. I'm painting a dark blue. I keep getting eithr roller or brush strokes no matter what I do. Is Dixie Belle easier to use? Or the Beyond Paint?

Could I use dapp filler to make a raised stencil?
I haven't, but I think a paste fiber would work better. Check out Kacha's channel. She does tons of raised stencils.
Muy funcional❤
how do you ship furniture?
The burnt orange is beautiful on that piece. Hope you don't replace it.
I have waxed all my kitchen cupboards and now want to paint them. Is alcohol the best way?
Do you ever ship to buyers? Sell on Etsy or anything like that?
