Been trying to try different nurgle options besides just nurglings. The Beast of nurgle is such a great option for fixed objective play. Great durable option for cleanse and also great to deepstrike into backfield for homers. Requires such a commitment by your enemy that its rarely worth them engaging it
with the points hike i feel like one BoN is better than 2 nurgling in most situations!

In 9th, the PBC entropy cannons were the sit back OBC option and spitters were the charge forward option. Now Entropy cannons are the charge forward option and spitters are the stay back option

Azrael is maybe more points efficient than Typhus but kinda hard to state that definitely, T-boy is insane
Posted on the discord too, but a list I'd love to see brewed on the channel is one using 2 to 3 of each DG demon engine, PBC, MBH and Drones!

Would Dave's list would 2 x 3 nurglings work better than a 6 so when they kill the 3rd base any extra attacks and damage would get wasted to make them a little bit more durable?
i usually run 2x3, this was a way to try a different approach but a totally valid point
Love the content guys! I know you guys aren't the biggest fan with having your face on camera, but I think having some visuals to go with the podcast (videos of your games or of DG games for example) would personally improve the viewing experience. Keep up the good content though guys!

I remember hearing about similar effects being able to stack with each other in this last balance data slate. Will this work with the great unclean on minus 1 toughness ability to stack with the minus 1 toughness from contagion?

Yes Typhus for 80 points is an absolute bargain, you'd be hard pressed to find a more point efficient character BUT the C'Tan Shard of the Nightbringer for 255 is ludicrously cheap for what it does. Especially in Hypercrypt where you can mitigate the downside of a 6" move...
Also is there no love for the LoV and DG Defiler combo for even more blasting!?! 😛 Why not go even harder on the Demon Engine spam. Also Havoc launchers with LoV does pretty solid work...
Just thinking about Dave's list and 9 Nurgling bases sounds hilarious. To make it work you could drop the 2nd unit of Poxwalkers and take the 9 Nurglings and a Beast of nurgle.

I think with the most recent changes, a death guard kill list is possiable. Pairing Karnivore with bloatdrone for aura on the flanks, PBC to screen then push up after charges with 4 OC, and deathshroud for counter charge. I always put LOV with deathshroud in deepstrike and place turn 2 to give the 5 indirect weapons their value. Any thoughts is appreciated!
Lord of virulence will not benefit the karnivores fyi. It buffs DG units only.
In Dave's list LoV cost 100pt, it's now 80
He has living Plague Enhancement for 20 pts :)
I'd love to see PBCs as MBTs. Unlike manticores or the like you could just nerf the indirect on the mortar and buff the sponson guns and toughness and make it a main battle tank and they'd work. Or just nerf indirect and make it cheap again.

Im still trying to figure out rules, but i THINK i can use a Helbrute to try weasel an angle on a target and spread contagion on turn 1 with its ability and Plasma gun and then utilize the Boilblight strat afterwards to give [Heavy] to cancel out the Indirect penalty and potentially get LoS with the LoV to give PBCs +1 to Hit roll on turn one and try to soften up some targets maybe? Situational dictates for sure.
I dont like Morty yet.
Would Blightlord Terminators be a good choice for a heavy unit if I can't afford to buy DeathShroud?
They are still tough, 2+/4++, you can get dev wounds from the reaper autocannon and combi weapons, the flail is still pretty good, definitely an option of no DSTs, if a 10man it's a point holder, if a 5man you have a deepstrike / rapid ingress option

Oh? A fix for indirect?
Simply make firing indirectly a stratagem for 1 CP per unit.
What about a deepstrike list, 3x deathshroud, 3x blightlord, lone termie characters and ally daemons. 🤔
Remember you're limited by amount of points to put into deepstrike
But you can make a 52 terminator list I believe :)
