Jet Set Radio Future: Worth Remembering

- Jet Set Radio Future was an Xbox exclusive over a decade ago. Since the game came out, the entry has faded into obscurity. This game is so much better than it gets credit for, and I wanted to take a different look at the game and why it means so much to me.

i'm so glad someone is bringing attention to this absolute classic of a game
I listen to the Jet Set Radio soundtrack almost every day and am constantly adding songs to my own personal JSR like playlist. The lack of respect this game gets hurts my soul but at the same time maybe it's underground for a reason. Maybe if it gets super popular it'll turn into something it's not. That would be the real disrespect. I'm just happy we got what we got.
This game need to come to Nintendo switch
Scapegoat Wax - Aisle 10 was my absolute favorite track in that game - really wish they would remake this game in some form!
I was 5 years old when this came out and fell in love with it the second I saw it come to life on my old tv screen, the way u describe it is exactly why it’s one of my most fav games of all time and I’ll never forget this game
It’s 2020, corona year🦠, time for innovation, SOMEONE COME REMASTER JET SET RADIOOOOOOOOOO!
Glad I’m not the only one with a broken heart over the ignoring of this game. I just purchased an OG Xbox JUST to play this game again. From the gameplay to the music it’s just unmatched
I'm glad someone else appreciates this game. Sega from like, 1992-2002 had this unbelievable ability to always have their fingers on the pulse of *cool*, and they've somehow gotten away from that.
The game goes from 0 to 100...almost immediately 😂😂
JSRF was such a critically acclaimed game but sadly didn't move so many copies despite its praise. Such a shame. I still listen to the soundtrack to this day, even if it's been 3 years since I played it...
I remember going by my cousins house every day during the summer and playing this game with them. We had so much fun playing this. This game was the reason I got an Xbox in the first place. What hurt the most was that I didn't even get the game because I didn't remember its name 😂.
This game for me was my childhood, the first real game I played. I was stunned by it's style, music and game mechanics. I have fond memories of this game since it was a shared experience with my siblings as I was the youngest and being 4 at the time. Perhaps it was my youth that made this game stand out much more than it would now, but what a game to be my first. I can appreciate how there are people who still care about this game after all this time. Thanks for keeping this memory, this game alive.
My soul craves this game, the music alone makes my soul feel good.
It's definitely one of the most memorable games of my childhood, I actually managed to beat it somehow when I was like 9 or 10 years old. I bought it on Steam a few years ago and I had completely forgotten how hard this game is, I was already raging a few hours in. This game is so crazy, colorful and energetic and the attention to detail in the maps is insane. The soundtrack fits perfectly with the game and hearing it now makes me emotional and reminds me of a more simple and carefree time of my life. It hurts my soul knowing that this game has never really been popular or successful and even more that there will probably never be a remake or a sequel. It's truly unique and there's still nothing quite like it even to this day.
JSRF is the GOAT
I'm still shocked that the song "Rockin' the Mic" made it past the censors lol
Played this with the big brother when this came with the Xbox, along with gran turismo demo I think. We played this day and night. Simpler times back then
This was the game that sold me the xbox, I remember watching the gameplay at the department store and my jaw dropped, I could believe the art style, the music, everything.
