Welcome Back Iveoma! I appreciate and respect your transparency. I'm in the midst of a mindset shift and several of the points you made in this video have been empowering to me. Because, the law of attraction surly is real. Thank you for the comparison between Lago and New York. When I tell my Nigerian friends I want to visit and possibly live in Enugu or Abuja they tell me Lagos is better. Even when I explain to them that I was born and raised in New York and don't care for the big city life, they still try to convince me on Lagos. Congrats on your move to Abuja and also congrats on your 2nd year living in Nigeria.

Wow, I completely understand. The commute is madness and day after day disrupts sleep. Lagosians get used to suffering and think its normal. Then you visit other Nigerian cities and realize omo it's not ooo.
Hey Iveoma! Glad you’re back. I was missing you on UA-cam. I love your videos. Great idea to leave Lagos. I’ve never been to Nigeria but I thought if I ever come there based on all I’ve heard I’d never choose to live or work in Lagos. Too hectic!! Anyways you look hopeful and thanks for being so candid and sharing your journey with us.
Thank you I appreciate you being open . I came to Nigeria last year and have been day trading , built a poultry, and is doing various side hustles online. I started comparing myself and wondering why I came at the time I came etc . I could have been in the states as a nurse making 10k a month in a stable environment. This helped me to renew my mind. God help all of us on our journey to who he’s called us to be . Sometimes the instability makes me want to just go back to stability but I know they did this on purpose so nobody builds in Africa and they continue to rape this great country.
@@IveomaMedia omg I went to Abuja and I was like I’m staying here . Ended up staying in port harcourt to build the poultry but I already made a goal to leave to Abuja. Sales in Nigeria is a big deal for businesses because we have not opened up the economy for inter state movement of goods. e g how can I produce in Anambra and sell in lagos. I will leave you with this my dear, you are on the right path. I don't have anything against people who have a 9-5 making 10k a month but you can't compare that to making .50 cents (250 naira) from 2 million people out of 211 million people. Nigeria is not easy but when your door opens you will love it. Patience. Don't look at those making so called dollars. What if exchange rate falls back? Which inevitably it will fall once Nigeria reaches it's high point in refined petroleum products by next year....

So grateful for this video! You just don't know how inspiring this was to me to make needed changes in my life.
Wow so sweet. I am glad you got inspired me
So proud of you and your courage!
Thank you Stephanie💕
I was concerned about your absence. It's great to see you're okay. All the best.
I am well and now in good spirits!
nice to see you back. more strength to you
I love your authenticity especially in this video. I am so proud of you. Yes, Lagos is not the place. You can visit Lagos but will actually thrive in Abuja or anyother cities. You will find it easier to have a life routine in Abuja. You can actually drive to your hobbies without being stuck in traffic. I hate Lagos too. Jisike !!!
You’re a Blessing! Thanks for mentioning Abeokuta. My plan is to move there after 30+ years of living in the UK. I’m a Lagosian too. I absolutely hate being in Lagos whenever I’m in Nigeria and I can’t wait to start plans to move to Abeokuta after all my research and field work done. Iveoma, you’re on the Right track girl! What you’ve experienced had to be… many folks in the diaspora are not bold enough to take that step… you’ve got it 👍🏾
Abeokuta is a neat organized place. Nice @ 30+ years in the UK. 😂 @ hate Lagos too
Hi. Please can you tell me where is better to live in Abeokuta? Thanks
Thank you for your transparency ❤
Welcome Back Iveoma I was so happy to see your notification pop up, you are greatly missed. Your channel is one of the reasons I decided to invest in agriculture next year and visit Nigeria where I normally would not have. You're an AWESOME Journalist who gives the people pertinent and useful information which is a plus. Everyone has their own gifts and talents no need to compare just restructure how to use your talents. Can't wait for us to connect in person. ☮💚💡
Yessss @ invest in agriculture. LOVE to hear this!! Thank you 🙏🏿
welcome back african queen
I just wanted to check on you since the FB group closed. I will be following you time to time because you are definitely an inspiration. One day, I plan to make Nigeria my second home but right now I'm visiting, learning the culture and enjoying the break from USA. You got this!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for coming back to us, I missed watching your inspiring video. Please update us as you move, I pray and believe God will guide you through it all and as you move to Abuja may you meet good people for connections.

Iveoma, great to see you back. I was very concerned about your absence. Can you do a session with Akah Bants or did you do so already? It will be great--just ask Sassy! 😂 Run 🏃 your race.

Everything is Energy even the Belief in God is Energy. Law of Attraction is Truth. Keep your head up and press forward. Business mindset. Produce, provide, sell, and earn.

Your channel is the 'bomb'! It has been very inspiring to be honest so do keep up the good work. It is good to see you back. I hope to touch base again via email or LinkedIn. Stay well.
Part of the challenge of a diaspora whether they were born abroad or returnees
I think this is the challenge of being an entrepreneur with ambition ooo never being satisfied so got to learn to celebrate small wins.
Your honesty is refreshing, and I love your content. I’ll support whatever you do ✨
Appreciate this comment so much!!

Losing motivation happens, but the main thing is to get back on track and bounce back. 💪👍.
💪🏾💪🏾
Well done nice to see you back , you are extremely brave and courageous for moving to Nigeria from the USA in the first place, I have no doubt , you will be successful in whatever you eventually decided to do. And you are right sitting in traffic for 3 hours is crazy especially if you have a choice to move . So Abuja here we come , keep pushing and stay bless .
May God go with you whenever you go and be sure of my prayers for you Ivy. Stay safe.
Thank you 🙏🏿
Good to see you back lveoma. I hope everything works out for you as you wish in Abuja.
So excited for u.👍👍
Thank you Madlyne!!
Pele. Don’t be too hard on yourself. My first trip to Ibadan years ago cured me of the notion that one must always be in Lagos. My first trip to Abuja was two years ago and it was such a contrast. You are an inspiration for a lot of people and I appreciate your candor on this. Godspeed.
I missed your videos. You made me want to come and live in Lagos more than anything and I am not Nigerian. You are Special 🤗😇
Iveoma, I'm happy you're back. Pls get rid of all those negative thoughts. You have way more potential than you feel. Never compare yourself to others, you're in another league.
You have a lot to offer, just work with international standard and make changes accordingly. Nigeria could make people feel low until you realise your personal potential. Don't stoop low, stay high! Stay Blessed.
Yup, focusing on a maintaining a much more positive mindset and no longer comparing myself.
I was just thinking of you the other day and made a video inspired from watching some of your content.
You are such a blessing to so many of us the space that you fill here is so very needed ❤️❤️
We all have days like these!
So true, got to keep going!
Keep Grinding!

I really missed you ... you motivates me alot .am building my house very fast and will be moving back by mid next. Since you stopped coming online and making videos i was worried if you have moved back maybe Nigeria is not working for you thank God you are fine. Please don't go away again. Naija we must favour us
Thank you Annastasia! Naija must favor us!
Great to have you back, always remember everyone journeys are different, re-evaluating & taking stock is also important once in a while.
As one of your avid audience, your content is very factual & not pretentious.
I hope this fresh start gives you a time to look back with gratitude at the blessings of another year.
It is also a time to look forward with renewed hope for bigger blessings. May you find true bliss as you face your next milestones.
