    Sand and Soil are great investments but we must also preserve our forests and waterways because these are pathways for life sustainability. Building real estate properties are great but too much creates overcrowding and congestion. Food for thought.

      Nigerians give them preferential treatment from govt parastatals to every Joe on the street due to their skin color. If a Nigerian wana invest in the same thing, it's yawa. Start from registering the business to the Joe on the street that you hire, they're ready to ruin the business. But won't try any s&%t with the foreign investors.

    • @IveomaMedia
      @IveomaMedia  2 роки тому +4

      Are you here and seeing this? I will interview a foreign investor on camera because honestly it's such a BS statement that I see all over the place and nothing I am seeing in person supports that it is easier for a foreigner than a Nigerian (with the same account balance lol). Nigerians respect money for real. Plus I didn't address this comment because honestly, I am so confused when people are talking about foreigners on my platform. I am LITERALLY showing AFRICANS BUILDING & MAKING MONEY IN NIGERIA!!!

      Yes bring the guest and make sure it's one of the 4 people DeeCee listed above. My uncle relocated to 9ja to set up a poultry business. The welcoming assistance the Civil servants gave 2 indian men (with due respect to Indians I am typing this with love) was not given to my uncle in his country. Yes they were given preferential treatments calling them "oyinbo".
      To the staffs, despite that security agents were hired at the farmland, employees were smuggling eggs out of the farm, selling poultry feeds. They know they can't do it to the e.g Lebanese or Chinese farmers in Nigeria. They know they will treat their F%&kup (I grew up in Oluyole Estate so I do see the Zartech employees and their diligence).
      I came to Nigeria recently and on my return the Nigerian police was chasing us away close to the departure entrance in MMA but left the Caucasians standing in same location as us. My mom stood up to the cops she wont move until they chase them away also.
      Did I say don't invest in Nigeria? No it's our country however, I only responded to what DeeCee said. Even Mrs Ibukun Awosika has said the same thing in one of her teachings. She said "the bureaucracy favor foreigners than indigenous manufacturers". Thanks for all you do Iveoma, love you loads.

      @@IveomaMedia I have an active investment (in millions) that’ll be due February 25, 2022. I really have no idea of what’s going to happen in my own situation when I read comments of how this same Agropartnerships have started defaulting since late last year. Just hope I’m able to get my money back. I don’t even care about the ROI anymore. Then will say a permanent goodbye to anything investment in Nigeria. All of these guys have one thing in common, poor communication and arrogance. You hold onto people’s hard earned monies without proper communication to allay fears. Yet they will keep telling you that your monies are safe.

    • @IveomaMedia
      @IveomaMedia  2 роки тому +8

      Yes the same Nigeria where startups have raised MILLIONS of dollars IN 2022 since January 1st. And Lynn actually discussed why agritech businesses had a bad year last year in this interview. Investing is a risk everywhere. Doesn't change that NIGERIA is a GREAT African country to invest in lol But I will cover the bad and good in investing in the country.

    • @IveomaMedia
      @IveomaMedia  2 роки тому +9

      I understand that you are upset about your Agropartnerships investment not paying out. It was a risky investment that's why the ROI was so high. Agropartnerships started defaulting in early December 2021 and, I covered it as soon as I found out. If you no longer want to do risky investments in Nigeria that makes a lot of sense. For people who invested a lot of money, it was an expensive painful lesson. The company is not communicating with investors so it is a frustrating situation.
      However, that has nothing to do with the lessons in this video. Plus, I have invested in various things in the USA and got burned. I refuse to let it discourage me. I just learn painful lessons and keep moving. We got to keep trying. There is just too much confusion in the Nigeria space. I have to demystify it.

      You do understand that the first rule of investing is that a return is not guaranteed and walking away with equal to, or more than, your orignal investment is, also, not guaranteed? If you have experience in investing, tell me how you faired in the global americo-euro markets in 2008?
