I urge you to wear a mask even with the smallest of paint projects. Know how I learned my lesson? One day I had a small item I painted, and despite being very careful and made sure to take note of the wind my glasses had tiny paint specks all over the lens. I realized, my lungs inevitably took some in and over time it accumulates causing irreversible damage. Totally changed my perception of “I don’t need a mask it’s a small item and I’ll knock it out in a minute. This once won’t hurt.” I painstakingly had to scrape each tiny dot off both lenses, imagine a soft lung! 🫁
