Totally! The problem I had is that the room was too small for a typical shovel (because of the handle) and smaller/shorter shovels didn't provide the leverage. Plus...I like to buy tools.
Fixed by drilling out the base and inserting a shaft that puts the load on the chisel, then ovaled the chisel mounting holes. Works awesome now!!

It was pretty useless for me too. It just vibrates. You could remove stuff easier with a screw driver.
