I downloaded rdr2 on fitgirl first the snow area missions are successful completely, but when after I came to free Rome the suddenly crashes and came out from the game , this is irritating the missions are not get saved, it's come again and again to the starting point what can I do...
are you being redirected to the start of the very game or the start of the mission itself when you crash. if you get reset back to the start of a mission i'd say thats somewhat normal since checkpoints in most missions are very arbitrary but if your whole game resets every time you crash I think there might be something wrong with your game itself. I hope you have turned off windows defender since it periodically scans and deletes files that it considers "harmful"

Turn on vsync. I'm running a laptop with the same specs here it could be that your laptop has a lower power GPU or maybe your windows settings are limiting the power draw of the gpu. I never came across hard lag a few microstutters here and there but those too were across hours of playtime so I think it's safe to say these settings should be able to run the game smoothly

Btw I've been playing for 14 hours with custom setting (mostly medium, only high on texture) and it ran smoothly, until Steam achievement pops up and the game suddenly exit and out of memory. Have you ever face similar situation? Oh, and did you use graphics "1" or "0"?
@@alvianrosadi8947 i was using Vulkan, never used dx12 with this game, also i never had sudden crashes like the ones you described, do you have the game in fullscreen or windowed? keep it in fullscreen. Not sure what you mean by graphics "1"
try using amd fsr since you're at a higher resolution than 1080p. Don't use DLSS as it gives a lot of artifacting on lower settings. Also you might be facing a bottleneck due to your gpu being lower specced compared to your cpu
@@atharvnair4948is your monitor ultrawide? While scrolling through the settings in rdr2 you'll come across an FSR 2.0 or just FSR option. It should be below DLSS, you can see this in my video too when I open my settings tab. What you want to do is set FSR to balanced or quality and you should be good to go
@@lancelotanderson9813 more than 90C can be worring, what u should do is play safe below 90C, are u playing in laptop too?? maybe it is time to change your thermal paste, or maybe open it and clean the dust out of the fans, have u checked a dust obstruction? or activate max fan speed while playing AAA games, ( this is relative, when i exceed my GPU grapchics potential i only get lower frame times, but it never get hot because of chanigng graphics settings in game) i teel u this because in the past i had a laptop with a 1050 ti, i didnt care much at that time and i played between 85 - 98C , at the end i burn my GPU permanent and stopped working.
@Felipe-wn1lp I see. Yes, I'm using an i5 RTX3050 4GB VRAM laptop. It always went more than 90. I had the laptop cleaned a couple weeks back. There was so much dust. Now, it stays on 75 to 80. But sometimes exceeds 85. I'm thinking of getting a cooling pad for it. Maybe it'll help. What do you say?
yep, thats why i always use vscyn, I bought recently a acer nitro rtx3050 intel i5 12h and now I'm waiting for delivery here this week I guess, and I will play some games :) ghost wire tokyo and play red dead but now in gamer gpu. Hey have a test in onlline mode?@@averagejpegmafiafan

Not really since VRAM will still be limiting factor, I wouldnt compomise resolution for slightly higher FPS.

Hey man , i was also facing this issue and someone in reddit suggested to use direct x 12 instead of vulkan and it worked for me .

Lock fps and turn on DLSS

@@averagejpegmafiafanand did you set the API to Vulkan or DirectX12? Because Vulkan not working so good on mine, so I use DirectX12 instead.

How to set “custom” on water quality and volumetric quality? on me only show low medium high ultra
it becomes "custom" once you adjust the physics and effects for water in the advanced settings so nothing to worry about.

Umm I am not sure I have the same lap and the temp is like 75-80 it doesnot very much exceed 80 max I guess it is 82-83

But in a laptop use maximum settings then the battery level decreases too fast, giving both side beneficial graphics settings

because u dont need to much fps to play solo games, only in competitive, and the screen tearing in peope with 60 hz monitor is heavy
60 is fine with AAAs
