He has everybody celebrating AA culture. I'm a middle aged Native mom feeling it in San Diego. Been a fan of hip hop and rap since the late 80s and it does my heart good to watch the celebrations, appreciation, and rightful gatekeeping of an all too often exploited medium.
As everyone knows, rap wasn't always a celebrated art form. It's nice to see such a prominent part of AA culture be appreciated so publicly without the racist demonization. It's been beautiful to witness.

I like how kendrick hit multiple rap subgenres with his disses. Meet the grahams was almost like a memphis horrorcore style song while not like us was completely different being an old school west coast hip hop song. And euphoria combined multiple different sounds into one song. Kendrick is just on another level than drake as an aritst. Thats not even factoring in his ability as a lyricist. Thats why hes a winner of the pulitzer.
