amazing, so many memories of whole pieces of luggage completely filled with chocolate after holidays in Bariloche! All the best from the other side of the Andes!!
I'm surprised by how few people there were on Mitre street. I don't know if you filmed this very early in the day or something like that; but I'm used to seeing that street filled with tourists, even in november. Sadly, it seems this season won't be as good as former years... (I'll go and enjoy not being crammed everywhere; but it's bad for locals...).
The best chocolates there are the filled ones, those are what distinguish each manufacturer... you have to try different types of chocolates and you can't return to your country without bringing chocolate as a gift.
Hi Garry. Subscriber here 🙋♂ Here's my opinion on how you could make your channel grow faster (or grow at all): less of your face and more of the landscape! We want to see the place you are at, not your charming face! so may be turn the camera around, or, at least, widen the frame and hold it higher! I could be wrong, surely, but I'd think about it. Still a subscriber. Cheers mate!
Rapa Nui was long known as 'Fenoglio' - which the Fenoglio family renamed, presumably to attract the Chilean market (and yes - it was better before). But of course, these days it's *Argentines* who are flocking to stock up in Chile - thanks to Chucky's high prices. That said, thanks as always for the tour Garry. A tasty treat indeed.
@@GarryMikal Sure! The current CEO, Diego Fenoglio, is locally known as the "Argentine Willy Wonka" due to his imagination and inventiveness for all things chocolate. His 'Franui' (chocolate-covered raspberries) are a hit in Europe.

It was a weekday around lunchtime. Maybe people were eating lunch?
@@GarryMikal Maybe... I hope!
I think locals would agree with me on this, the best chocolaterie in bariloche is probably Benroth
@@CrisUrbanJacquesBiology where is that?
@ beschtedt, between gallardo and tiscornia, almost tiacornia
Benroth es la mejor, no me digas que no fuiste? Yo no soy local Pero lo puedo confirmar
Tough assignment 😂
