Caballito tiene muchos sectores para la comunidad, desde plazas, parques, ferias, y una inmensa y calificada area residencial. Cruzado por infinidad de lineas de transporte, desde bus, tren y subte. Tambien parte del corredor de la linea A, que va todo por av rivadavia, La linea A la primera linea de subtes del hemisferio SUR del planeta.
Me encanta que muestres las partes no turísticas de Buenos Aires, para que vean que es toda linda. Yo vivo en Villa Crespo, que también es una zona no turística, pero bella de la Ciudad, aparte de ser un Barrio muy diverso en su aspecto
And let's not forget that Almagro also has the most central subte line of all, Line A, that goes all along Avenida de Mayo and Avenida Rivadavia that bisects the city into north and south parts. Also, Confiteria Las Violetas, one of the most beautiful and traditional cafes in Buenos Aires (full of locals) is in Almagro (Rivadavia y Medrano). Unfortunatelly you turned around one block before reaching it.
Amigo Garry...I really enjoyed your video of your walk through the barrio...this way I get to know more of Buenos Aires in passing...I live in the interior of Argentina...and I have family there in Buenos Aires...in the suburbs...I only went a couple of times and the prices of the food seemed horribly expensive compared to my city. For the price of two empanadas in Buenos Aires here you can buy 12 empanadas. The pizas are double or even triple the price there...Anyway, I enjoyed walking around there.

I moved to Buenos Aires 3 months ago and am trying to establish residency here. I visited La Chacarita Cemetery this afternoon. I was not impressed with the La Chacarita neighborhood at all. Unlike almost all other parks in BA, El Parque de los Andes is dirty. Along the outside wall of La Chacarita Cemetery there were lots of homeless people and drug atticts camped out. I didn't happily wark through La Chacarita neighborhood and would certainly never live in it.

@@KenLangston I'm not sure about that. Most places I have stayed only have typical residential internet speeds, usually 50-100 mb up and down.

Try west: Colegiales or Belgrano, or a little south west, Villa Urquiza.
Try Villa Crespo, Almagro or Abasto, these are nice and cheap.
