This was super chill listening to you discuss skin care. I just got over Covid, my skin felt awful, and I slathered on the Sisley velvet mask last night (on my second tube, purchased on your recommendation)...my skin looked and felt a 100x better this morning.

I swear by La Mer’s The Concentrate. It really repairs and strengthens my skin. I also use regularly Sisley’s Black Rose mask. Really does plumps my skin up.
Love the concentrate too, I have lost track of how many samples I have gone through at this point. And the light lavender scent is so relaxing. I wish it didn’t cost so much or I would have picked it up by now
The Concentrate from La Mer also heals my curling iron burns super fast! Also works great on irritation from getting my eyebrows waxed.

I bought the Sisley velvet sleeping mask on your recommendation awhile ago and I totally agree it’s amazing. I use it when my skin is just having a rough go of it-like allergies have me puffy or winter has me feeling dehydrated. It’s just kinda resets my skin when I use it.
Oily skin here. La Mer Cool Gel moisturizer is a beautiful product. I was convinced after first using a sample size for several days. No question, it is outstanding and a small amount - half the paddle - is plenty. Morning and night.
Another great find for my skin type - Chantecaille Rose and Geranium cleanser. Again, morning and night - a pea-sized amount.
I have oily skin too. I might try Chanticaille’s rose and geranium cleanser.

The Dr. Barbara Strum Rich Cream is magic. The texture, the wonders it does to my skin, UGH!
OMG the May Lindstrom line is simply the ultimate .. so expensive but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it.., the blue cocoon balm is just something else, nothing can compare to it.,
I just looked it up and it's crazy expensive, but the reviews are phenomenal!! That said, I'm a tad reluctant to spend $300+ on something that's washed down the drain

I’d like to try the Chantecaille product but I am wed to the NIOD fractionated eye repair. It has done wonders for my under eyes from puffiness to fine lines. It’s amazing.
Hi Michele 👋 love your skincare picks. I definitely agree that La Mer is one of the best out there , its what I'm currently using. I also love Sisley black rose oil. Nothing even comes close to it and that's my favourite from Sisley skincare range. I've tried soooooo many oils but I always go back to Sisley black rose. Thank you for your recommendations, I've never tried the Velvet sleeping mask but I'll give it a try since you gave it top marks

I also swear by La Mer original if my skin barrier is really compromised! I don’t understand how it works so much better than creams that are much more impressive on paper but it honestly really does!
I love the Sisley eye and lip contour balm! People tell me I look 32 lately-I am 44. I also think the Dr. Dennis gross specralight has been a huge help

The AB rich cream has become my total fave skincare product for 2022!! It is wonderful, very hydrating without being too oily!! I definitely can see it being used as a primer!!

I did Sisley, Chantecaille and the Jasmine garden. The weather has been hot and humid in the desert, despite the gallons of water I drink, it is not good enough.I am hoping for relief.Make up will not do it these days...I need lots of care creams...

The Omorovicza cleanser is so lovely for my second cleanse and, because you don't need to use a lot, it lasts such a long time!

Ok, I’ve been struggling to find the right cleanser for my combination skin - especially at age 65. I’ve tried Sisley, B Recherche, and Dr. Barbara Sturm - but nothing has hit holy grail status. I’m now ordering Retrouve’ to try since it works so well for you. I have treatment products I am using prescribed by my Dermatologist, but have not found the perfect daily cleanser. P.S. - you turned me on to Revive SPF 50 and it’s been in my rotation ever since. Thanks Michele! Have a great weekend. You always brighten my day! 😎

I can second the Sisley Velvet Sleeping Mask. Its lovely and rehydrates my skin when its stressed. I think I first purchased it after you recommended it! I'm on my 2nd tube!
Augustinus Bader (The Cream) is one of the more expensive thing I bought, and it’s totally worth it! I saw the difference after 3 days. I have oily skin that’s pretty good, but I’m 55. For me, it takes care of at least 2-3 serums, including an eye cream. It just makes my skin smooth, hydrated, and perky! The perk is what will have me buying it again. I was given a sample of the Rich one, and it didn’t seem super heavy. It sinks in. I’ll have to work more overtime to try their hair products. 😁
Is the AB cream still giving you skin benefits? I’m planning on ordering the rich cream.
I’ve been very curious about True Botanicals and the Chantecaille eye cream, so this was great. Your skin looks fabulous.
I absolutely love the Augustinus Badger moisturizer ( regular), La Mer’s soft foam cleanser and La Mer’s resurface treatment as my nighttime staples. I switch up my retinol, CBD, glycolic and Vitamin C serums ❤❤❤

This was very enjoyable. I love skincare. The Retrove Cleansing Elixir is so good and I just finished up one. I started using it when you first mentioned it years ago. The Revive SPF is now my new favorite sunscreen (thank you). I have not tried the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream yet but I'm going to order the Discovery Duo and see how my skin likes it.

And us Chinese fans give you a nickname called Dear Wang Ayi cos you are so genuine, soft-spoken, calm and elegant, like we wish we have a family member like you! Anyways, since I have almost the same skin type as yours, I'd listen extremely carefully when you are recommending "top ten XXX products", and I've got myself byTerry setting powder compact, Bobbi Brown foundation, Westman blush stick, and Guerlain meteorite. They work magic! so thank you : )

I am a travel agent & I have found the best skin care products in airlines duty free catalouges. These products are for discerning business class passengers who want the best. My theory is if it is good enough for them, then its good enough for me!
I have been rotating between La Mer and Augustinus Bader … I know these are pricey but it’s my skin. These lines plus water is my recipe … at 57 not a wrinkle yet … and I suffer from psoriasis. La Mer works for me. I also love Chanel No 1 skin care as well. And recently discovered K beauty La Niege … so I have a lot to choose from and everything is in a skin fridge. My favorite of it all … the La Mer Gel Cream.
Well, of course I want all of these, lol. But, I think I will start with the Chebula serum because lately I am obsessed with finding great serums. I have purchased a few -- pricey! -- but am still on the hunt for the perfect one for me. And, anything Chantecaille is my jam so I am going to try the stress repair. Thank you for this! You save us so much work and expense and I know everyone here appreciates you for it, Michele. 💖

I am addicted to the Bader Rich Cream. When I first started using it I took a photo of my face and then another one a month later to see if I notice a difference, which I did. On a lark, I took another one about a year after I started using it and my face is transformed. It is the real deal.
@@nica302 I don’t mind answering at all! I’m in my mid-50s and I would 100% agree with your assessment. I can remember trying an anti-aging line when I was in my 30s and it didn’t do anything for me. Dr. Sturm‘s products are wonderful they are just beyond my price point. While they are roughly the same as the Bader products, I found I went through them much quicker. Good luck to you in finding your Holy Grail products! When I was your age I used a lot of the Perricone products.
What kind of changes did you see please? I’m going to order the rich cream today.
@@tammysummerswoodbeck1353 in the first month, fine lines around my eyes were diminished, and the depth of my nasolabial folds were smaller. Overtime, my forehead wrinkles were greatly diminished, sun damage, and damage that I’ve had from laser treatments, are almost completely gone, and I don’t have a pore in sight. As a sidenote, I have discontinued use of Botox, which I didn’t frequently anyway, but I don’t need it now.

Michele, you always make me want to buy things! For my skin I use Sisley Black Rose Mask and sleep in it! (Even though the scent of the Velvet mask is to die for. I went to Neiman Thurs to pick up more and Sisley is having a huge give away when you buy their newest 1 minute mask. Demo… I bought BOTH ‼️👏🏻💕. Now I have to go buy the Chantecaille and The Jasmine Garden sounds divine🥰

The May Lindstrom mist sounds amazing … just ordered and intrigued by the whole line …thanks for highlighting! I use several of the others thanks to your recommendations but also really on Kerstin Florian products esp the Multivitamin day cream which I always have a backup of.

If I were going to spend a lot of money on skincare I would go for Re Vive I was given samples in Harrods and it was amazing.
I rotate between Drunk Elephant Protini, Tatcha Dewy Skin cream and Guerlain Abeille Royale day cream. I’ve used La Mer as well but it is a bit too rich for me. I will say that the one little mini size that I had lasted me a very long time.

No, not any more...the original recipe died with his creator...and pay that money for mineral oil 🤦, Vaseline is cheaper 😂
@@katam3310 your wrong. the broth is still harvested from the giant sea kelp only found off Vancouver then fermented. you ought to study skincare biology before saying something rather stupid. petrolatum is an occlusion product great for post peels .

Do a review on Evidens (specifically both contrasting the extreme and normal lines. Like the normal less expensive sahos break me out, but the extreme, as i've stolen dollops from my mother, hehe oops... don't break me out. I want to know why/what makes the difference b/t the two lines ingredient wise?) My mom uses the extreme saho exclusively now. She has always spent SO MUCH of her money on skincare, and honestly, I noticed a difference immediately after she started, and la mer isn't cheap either, and not as effective (tho la mer doesn't break me out either. and I am safe with that one,) I didn't even know she changed anything. I just said "your skin looks so good! omg!" and she told me she started it while on vacation, and they gave her samples. We are talking only 2 weeks I noticed when she came back as I was pet sitting for her haha. She was HOOKED on this. I have stolen a few dollops/pumps (she had the serum, travel size, and the cream, idk what she uses now but the cream she definitely still uses,) THE CREAM DOESN'T BREAK ME OUT. The serum, I noticed a difference immediately, AND this applies to the cream as well. I am talking about the extreme saho. (it's okay my mom didn't care I stole a tiny bit, my skin was having a moment and wanted to try it.) I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference, in inflammation, even sagging as a result of chronic illness inflammation was reduced LITERALLY IMMEDIATELY. It is just so expensive. Sisely BREAKS ME OUT. The La Mer cream "de la mer" works, and doesn't break me out. I am currently using Biologique recherche. I have very delicate, sensitive (depending on the day haha,) breakout-prone skin, so anti aging is a must and I have to worry about breakouts too?? honestly evidens' extreme line is the best thing I've ever had. If only I could afford it. Or be persuaded to....
I’m glad you can review so many products, however, I could never use so many things. I could only have 2-3 max holy grails of the same type of product, not 20. I’m way too picky
