Just an fyi, the youth bomb cream from Beauty Pie is supposed to be a dupe for the AB cream. And $300 is way beyond anything I would spend and the BP is $50 which is great! Loved this video, so informative.

The alastin sunscreen really is impressive. I purchased it after hearing Lisa rave so much about it. I do see why it is such a favorite. It is far more coverage than you expect. It certainly gives enough coverage for you to run errands and feel like you have some evening out of your skin.

Hi Lisa and Penn. Lisa, If you are looking for a great Bakuchiol product, Sephora has their own brand. $20, and it works wonders. I combine it with my Tretinoin, since I've been using Tretinoin since my 20s.
There are some great Korean essences that work so well, and aren't so expensive.
Another great nighttime cream in a jar, is the Revolution Pro Miracle Cream. It's fabulous as a last step in your nighttime routine. It's thick and very creamy.
Thank you both so much for this very informative video. ❤❤

Great video ladies! I use both ABader creams and like them. I use the rich cream at night and find if I take a pump and a half into my palm and really warm it up with my fingers it thins out and spreads out easier on my face. Also I don’t need as much of the product and my bottle lasts a bit longer. I’m 71 and have been using the Calecim line of products for 3 months and really like the way my face looks. Fortunately I don’t have deep lines on my face but can use some firming. Penn, I don’t know if you have heard of the brand but would love for you to do a video on it.

I agree with these assessments and the Osea moisture cream in the jar has been the only one to work in my painfully dry skin with eczema. That phenoxythanl ingredient is a preservative that I have a reaction too and I think it’s not that uncommon especially because it’s in so many products.

Great collaboration. Interesting about the Osea…the Ocean Eyes stings and irritates me as well. I am curious to deep dive and figure out what component is causing the stinging/irritation in the mentioned product as it’s the same with the roller eyes for me.

Penn mentioned a more affordable option to the LaMer. I was wondering what that might be. As much as I'd love to be able to buy something like that, there is no way I can spend my entire monthly grocery budget on one skincare product.

As a daytime moisturizer I would recommend using La Mer's The Hydrating Infused Emulsion as a first step & add a bit of the moisturizing cream if necessary. I just bought a large size version at costco canada. I tried the Augustinus Bader Rich Moisturizer several times & just gave up.

    Hi Lisa,
I also love the Alastin sunscreen. I have tried several and love how this sits under makeup and also has just the right amount of glow...not too shiny. Can you tell me your thoughts on the Osea night moisturizer? I'm looking for a good hydrating one that will leave my skin feeling soft in am instead of tight and dry. I follow both of you for years and really love all the recommendations. I also have quite the BK beauty brush collection. FYI I think the 110 is the best concealer brush, even better than the A506. It just gets the job done quickly and coverage is so even.

Your skin is glowing and you’re aging in reverse, i thought that earlier this year, so you’re obviously doing it right. I heard Dr Andrea Dray mention putting a tiny drop of Vaseline around eyes to stop tretanoin (sorry can’t spell it!) migrating into eyes. That might work for you. Xx

This was an informative video. I LOVE the Alastin sunscreen too, Lisa. I do have Elta MD and Healthy Skin Lab sunscreens that I alternate with Alastin. But I love Alastin for the same reason as you. Because it's tint is a great match for my skin, I can put it on, put on some mascara and tinted lip balm and I'm out the door. Can you imagine 7-8 teaspoons??!!! 😳 For a second cleanse and for moisturizing I'm a Tatcha girl❣️

Awesome video! I've been using BR Lotion P50 PIGM and P50V for years, I still haven't mustered up the courage to try the 1970 version because it has phenol in it and the ingredient was banned in Europe. Can you please provide some insight if Phenol is safe to use and whether it is safe to use long-term vs short-term. I really want to try the 1970 version since i've tried almost all BR products except this one. Thanks again!
