"Lead Rome to glory--or obscurity--as you develop and operate your rapidly expanding ancient civilization.
Pick a leader, choose your strategy, and decide the fate of an empire! Develop and refine your engine with deckbuilding, tableau building, and resource management to fulfill your edicts and bring the most possible glory to Rome.
The engine-building of Res Arcana meets the card play of Mage Knight in this thinky middle-weight Euro game."

Most heavy solo of the month till now, i guess. Gives me memories of imperium. Partly in gameplay, bus more in theme.

100% Easily the heaviest and deepest of the small box solo games of the month.
You can build quite the strategies with this one! 😄👍🏼

Heaviest and most complex by far, haha. I wanted to follow Quests Over Coffee with something on the other end of the spectrum.

Absolutely love the looks of this one! Gonna back it right now! I LOVE the strategy elements, and I LOVE having to plan 2-3-4 moves ahead. And....AND...AND...Wifey was actually on board with the price....so......no throwing darts at your picture this time....and she likes the "Solo Game of the Month" idea....at least the low cost anyway. Thanks so much for uncovering this one Adam.....dont think I would have found it on my own!!

Game looks cool, I really enjoy Joe Klipfel's games (Dragons of Etchinstone, Gloomholdin, Buttons & Bugs).

Thanks for watching Adam! He makes solid games! B&B was the last one I played of his and I enjoy that one too!

I'm surprised you didn't build any fences along your southern border. Don't want any unwanted individuals messing with your developments.😅

seems to be too long of a game

It moves fast when you’re playing it. Explaining the ins and outs (as it’s got layers of strategy) makes it seem more daunting than it is. It moves along smoothly with great choices to make along the way.
