This was a good game I had. I ROCKED those minigames where you tap that blue ball things to the music.

I remember this game! One of my childhood favorites, nowadays looking back at it, it isn't as awesome as i remember it, with slightly glitched graphics, some of the minigames don't look as fun as a remember them, and aside from Rayman and the Rabbid's sound effects and the licensed songs like Open Book and Acceptable In The 80's, almost all of the music and sound effects are all pulled from hollywood stock libraries, which is kinda lazy if you ask me.
I fondly remember being terrified of the Rabbid score meter during the Rabbid Gym segments, especially at higher scores, the rabbid faces look really strange (even compared to just normal rabbids), it looks out of place compared to the other minigame meters which i found more pleasant to look at when i was 6 years old.
I also love the loading screens between minigames, filled in by a small cutscene of a rabbid getting caught in a microphone wire.
Yeah, this game probably had a very low budget or was rushed out so it can co-aside with the Wii version. But the reason why the hud in the Rabbid Gym minigames have a drastically different art style is because they were taken from Rabbids 2 on DS which had a more crude and exaggerated artstyle which clashes with the more simple and cute one used in this game, also it isn't a shocker since it reuses a lot of sounds, models, and graphics between the games. Heck, the language select and credit graphics are taken from Rabbids 2 DS with no modifications.

I Remember It. My Childhood. Since 2011. Childhood Memories.
I bought this game as a kid with my allowance I think or I traded for it... I thought it was rabbids go home (I had seen my friend play that game). My young mind enthusiastically went home with the game only to find out it had no resemblance to the game in mind. However I grew to like it. What a fever dream of a game. I rocked all the minigames especially the guitar hero style ones with speakers.

This was my nostalgic
Not only An underrated rabbids game but an underrated ds game in general. Sure its a little outdated (cough) touchscreen controls (cough) (cough) and the graphics are decent for some games but stupid for others, and a story mode that isnt quite as good as the console counter port.
But this is by all means an enjoyable game and a game for the ds none less. Ds games are hard to go back to and the same goes for the wii. So many games forced on the use of the motion controls for the wii and the touchscreen for the cases regarding the ds. But this game i felt used the touchscreen for an average amount and isnt too bad for the most part. Oh yeah and the ds version has SUPERIOR music in my opinion. In fact a few tracks were ripped from Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 on the DS like the western theme and the victory theme if i recall correctly. It may not be the best ds game by any means but its a lot better than the lower half of the meh ds games.

I think I know why Drunken Sailor sounded familiar when I recently heard it on AC4. I used to play both versions of the game when I was 10. Looking back at it now at 19.... god nostalgia really blindsides you eh?
